    Good video! Wish there was boost pressure and A/F ratios to monitor as well. Have to wait for a vent gauge to be available to monitor more stuff.

    Jesus !! Now it makes totally sense why I couldn't find anywhere the temperature of my coolant? Thank you very much for taking the time to create and share with all of us this helpful content.
    One more thing could you please tell me what type of coolant the 2021 toyota supra GR uses? And thanks again. Happy new year

    Was wishing the Supra would have a display screen like R35 showing boost, oil/trans temp, air/fuel, and all the bells and whistles.

    • @CarGuy11
      @CarGuy11  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Agreed sports cars especially should have these.

  • @applejacks971
    @applejacks971 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    They didn't make that screen to user friendly to access it doesn't seem. It isn't much different than the C7 I guess, as once you scroll down to performance mode (in the C7) you still have to scroll thru the performance displays to get the info you want.
    I do prefer the C7 set up tho as it can be done via the steering wheel while going down the road and also remains the display til its changed.
    Maybe Supra will tweak that as the car progresses? We shouldn't expect a new car to be everything we want out of the gate (even though the C7 is lol!)
    Good vid CG11!

    • @CarGuy11
      @CarGuy11  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks yeah C7 shows much more info even if you have to scroll through menus. Sports cars should show as much info as possible so it’s disappointing Supra doesn’t.

      @@CarGuy11 Hopefully that will be a selling feature on next years model. Understanding marketing, any manufacture can't give away the store on the first day. I think the car will progress with options with the future models.
      Hopefully Supra is taking notes from all the video's/feedback and incorporate those features.
      That'd be better than a car having an option that peeps don't like, can't use, isn't user friendly, etc, then Supra having to re-do or remanufacture it. This way, they can design and make it to people's liking .
      Dunno though, hopefully they'll tweak things. It'd be a tough market to make a sports car in todays world with all the technology and different models out there. If ya make it with too many options it just gets confusing as well.
      I have a couple ham radios' I don't use because I can't figure'em out, can't remember all the menu's and the instructions are so confusing its not worth the time and effort. I think cars are the same to an extent.
      Personally, I like my '04 Suburban, nice and simple :) Needle gauges, am/fm/cd, and 4wd, ez pz lol!

    Question, once you unlock the hidden menu, you see BC-0 with a diagonal line through the 0. Once clicked it shows you a distance counter reading. What is that ? And should it read the same as the odometer??

    Is there a way to keep the menu open after you turn the car off/on again, or do you have to go through the procedure every time and enter the VIN every time you start the car?

    Theres a “passenger restraint system malfunction” on my dash and screen. I will be going to the dealership to get it reflashed. Apparently the car is so new it needs reflashing, same with the nav.
    In the meantime, is there a way to get that notification off my dashboard?
