De rien! Mindo was indeed beautiful, we would return actually, for 1 month to see more things and experience more hummingbirds. It was such a great experience. Bring warmer clothes if you go though, it was quite chilly mornings and evenings! ...cloud and rain forest! Thank you for watching @FocusedFighter777, we love seeing you back all the time on our videos!
Thank you for watching Monica! And thank you also for the kind comments. Have you had an opportunity to spend time in Mindo? If you are looking to spend some time in Quito also, we put together another video of a famous landmark that was noteworthy to go and see: th-cam.com/video/DoyA0h3ZMCM/w-d-xo.html Enjoy!
Ayr put this video together and did a great job! He had a LOT of media to sift through....hours on the editing software....what a guy! So, we REALLY appreciate you taking a minute to let us know that you liked it. 😘 We hope you get to visit one day soon!
What a nice video. There are so many nice things to do and the experience is like none other. I can see why you like the place. Even your abode is super!!!!!
Thank you so much! Glad you like it. There were so many things to do...many more too. There is a neat night walk/tour that a person can go on to meet and discover many critters that only come out at night. ....snakes, spiders and other amphibians. Very cool place. The cabin IS super. We felt sooo at peace there....and then when we set up all our feeders and the hummingbirds started coming..... oh man 🤯
Amazing job capturing some of the highlights of Mindo! And with a drone - seeing my house that way was truly a gift- thank you so much!!! I arrived from Ottawa in Quito last night and am heading there in a few hours 😊
Alison, that is the coolest....what timing! Your house was a dream for us and we are so glad you liked what Ayr put together. We have a LOT more footage also.... feel free to use any parts of the vid for yourself if you think it can help with rentals or whatever. May your time in Mindo be blessed and we thank you so much for watching! Welcome to Plan Free, our Travel channel!
Mindo, Ecuador is at 1300 meters, 4000 feet. Temperatures are lovely during the days...between 18-20C and at night was cool, around 12C. We needed long pants and sweaters in the evenings and mornings. If a person rented a place that faces the sun it would make.a night difference. So glad to hear from you Pascal! Thanks for watching 😊
Thank you so much for this beautiful capture of your experience in Mindo. We are planning on traveling September 2025, my husband and I. A true blessing to be able to enjoy His beautiful creation. The butterflies and birds are so beautiful. So peaceful. What month was this visit? I know the cloud as well as rain forests, in Mindo’s case it’s both actually, it rains. But was told September is not a monsoon of rain either. 😊
You are very welcome @ilianahernandez9473 and we are so glad you enjoyed our capture of Mindo! I think it will rain more in Sept than when we live there (Dec), but you kind of don't mind, it's so beautiful and fresh anyways. Rain gear (for sure shoes!) and an umbrella really do make it fine! You will love your time in Mindo, Ecuador. And we have other great spots to go and explore in other parts of the country also. Let us know if you plan to visit any where else in Ecuador, we can help guide you. 🥰 God bless you both and your travels! Ayr & Lori
Of course we don't ming you asking! We are here to help! We: 1. We tithe 10% of our income trusting that 90% WITH GOD is far better than 100% without! 2. We manage(ed) our income really well, spending WAY less than what we made, right from our younger years working "normal" tradition jobs (I, Lori, worked in a bakery making cakes and then started cleaning homes which gave me a better schedule working for myself plus WAY better income. Ayr was a financial planned and stock broker for a decade; 3. We NEVER bought new or leased a vehicle, we always drove good older vehicles, then sold them, put a little more money in to get a newer vehicle, did that several times over 10-15 years; 4. We rented out a portion/bedroom in our home to students; then we rented the entire home and moved into our RV where expenses were nest to nothing; 5. We live(ed) abroad for a portion of the year, where the cost of living is a fraction (some times) the costs in Canada. 6. We always saved 10-12% of our income for a rainy day, emergency. 7. We always invested an excess money in a safe stock. The video that Ayr posted above helps show what we do/did. Does that help @ClaUDiishmoO?
Merci for sharing the beauties.
Stay safe.

Hope you don’t mind me asking. But what do you both do? Do you work remotely?
