Gingerbread Syrup
1 cup water
1 cup light brown sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger (use 1.5 tsp if you want an extra kick!)
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
1/8 tsp all spice
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Hot Chocolate
1 cup milk (of your choice - I used whole milk)
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
marshmallows or whipped cream for garnish
gingerbread men for garnish
Instructions
Making Gingerbread Syrup
Heat the stove eye on medium/high heat. In a small pot, add in the water, brown sugar, spices and vanilla extract. Whisk together and let this come to a boil in the pot on the stove.
Once boiling, reduce heat to simmer for 10 minutes. Once done, remove from the stove and pour into a glass mason jar to let cool. Carefully rinse the pot and place it back on the stove.

The easiest and BEST dip for parties is to pour Raspberry Chipotle sauce ( Costco has it and you can cook chicken in it - to die for ) on top of a brick of cream cheese. Serve with Wheat Thins. That’s it and it is AMAZING! So easy and everyone loves it! Oh and your hair!!!!!! Love it! (you have beautiful hair!) oh and I love going to the Grove and Farmers market. So festive at Christmas and so much fun food there And shops!
Another delicious is red pepper jelly on cream cheese with wheat things!!

I always make pot roast in the crockpot…cooked for hours to perfection! When it’s done, remove the meat and either slice or shred. While it’s out of the crockpot, stir brown gravy mix into the liquid and put the meat back in and cook at least another hour. Yummy

I take mini pretzels and put a Rolo on top, bake at 250° for 5 minutes take out and place another pretzel on top, push it down so the melted chocolate goes thru the holes. My children and grandchildren call them Christmas crack. They are delicious.
