Buck , should put your pins back in the leg to prevent them from vibrating down over rough surfaces. The pin sits in the grove at the bottom of the leg/jockey wheel when they are fully up and you had the jockey wheel strap upside down, one hook is larger to reach over the gearing at the top. Cheers
Great product Buck, with the ability to Jack the van up to charge a tyre will elevate the need for the Jack and the Kojack we have must weigh 8-10 kg so we would be gaining more payload. Thanks for sharing.
Welcome back Buck missed your true Aussie spirit , I have watched about 8 reviews regarding theses but after seeing you recommendation I'm ordering the whole kit Thank you for your no nonsense no bull sh17 videos
Where did you measure the old legs to get the right length for the new ones? You should put the rib of the jockey in the slot of the bracket, definitely won’t move. I also leave the pin in mine and tighten it into the slot at the bottom of the leg, it won’t unwind, always tight when I wind it down. Good job.
They look great. Will the leg swing back towards the back of the van. We have the alco legs and was told to always put the legs facing the back. If for some reason they fall down and hit the road it can be enough to flip the van over. Love the channel and keep up the good work. Chris from Western Australia.
15:44 I have the extension but I cut 50mm off the top as it needed to be wound up too high and I saw no point in it having to slide onto the leg so much.
Question: Will the boss legs cause any problems to caravan chassis when jacking up wheels off the ground? Have been told that it's an issue, and that's why there's correctly fitted jacking points on either side
@@alecmarra8124 I used them for 6 months on my last van mate with no issues. You only jack it off the ground when you have a flat tyre. How often is that? Bet all these people saying this work for airbag companies.
The jockey wheel yes. The legs yes but it would be very slow with the plastic winder. I have a hand winder from a socket set. I just need to get a 1/2" square drive to a 12mm square drive. I don't know if one exists. I am glad you brought this to my attention.
@@Mrbuckaroonie.. they are actually made not to fit a standard socket drive. You could weld a socket to the spare Bos370 part though to use a half inch socket drive.
BOS 370 are ringing me tomorrow reference this. I need a 1/2" squaredrive female to a 12mm square drive male and I can use a winder handle in my socket set. Hitting bunnings tomorrow.
Apparently BOS sell a manual winder for the legs as an optional extra. I just went to Bunnings and got a 70mm extension 1/2" female to 1/2" male. I got the grinder and took a bit off each side. I now use the winder out of my socket set.
Made in Australia or Australian design, anyway to expensive and for most vans, the chassis frame corner out riggers aren't designed to take van weight. Especially the rear are only 3inch cross rail.
I will only be lifting the van to change a wheel mate. Other than that, they are stabiliser legs. I will have the awning side up slightly higher. I always did this with the old van and never had an issue with the door.
@@Bob-r5d Because you can. I have owned a van before with these on. I did it for 6 months straight mate and I could get in and out of the door. Not once could I not open the door. Not sure where you heard this shit. I have done it. Maybe if I lifted the rear right and front left but when do you ever do that? I have never done that ever!!! On flat ground, I usually put the awning side up a little bit higher so the water from the aircon runs off the other side. I jack the front left and rear left equally. Hope that makes sense mate. I have never had that issue.
Just so you know mate i work in the industry. I lift caravans every day i have seen what happens and the sounds a caravan makes when you put that kind of stress on them. I am not saying this isnt a good product but i think it is irresponsible to put the chassis and wall frames under that type of load. Taking the weight of a caravan plus your belongings and people inside moving around is just asking for trouble. It might not happen to you but your telling other people to do it too.
@@Bob-r5d Ring BOS370 and tell them mate. I will be using them and I will be letting people know how they perform. If there are issues, I will be first to let people know. Remember I purchased these with my own money. I ain't getting paid by the company. I have no affiliation with them. I get no kickbacks. If they cause issues, I will let people know but from experience with my last van, there were no issues whatsoever. You don't work for an airbag company do you? lol
Awesome timing mate, having a look at these for our van!
Good stuff Cam.

They are a great option. Cover all the bases. Thanks for the show Buck
Very Impressed with the product. Good Video Buck thanks
Excellent vid on my next shopping list awesome thank you. For showing the install etc .
Good one Buck ! Love watching the van go up and down ! 🤣👍👍🍻🍻
What a fantastic product, I’ll be looking into it for my 16’ Boroma Buck.
I have the legs as well but you can’t beat the Black Jack electric jokey wheel
🤣🤣🤣
Everyone needs some Ducks Nuts in their lives Buck!
Good product, Great Clip! 🙂👍
Thanks Buck they look like a great product

Cheers mate
Buck add 100mm square tube to were the mud flaps connect to the frame then connect the flaps to that it will clear then mate
I bought mine at Toowoomba RV. Mine came with a plastic handle to use if your drill goes flat. But excellent design.
They are a great set up. Hey those D clips for the feet are available at Bunnings for a spare. Great thing mate.
That's good to know mate.
Great video Buck the Bos370 are the best we love ours we do have the bracket for thr jockey leg it is very strong 💪
Looks like they are a good bit of kit Buck, we've always had alko everything on the last couple of campers but will be looking into these now.
18:06 I’ve placed mine up high so I don’t need to shift it. I also bought the extension.
Yeah good idea mate.
Nice one Buck 👍🏻 looks like I will be getting a set 😊
They look great Buck. Am having a van built and i think i will have them fitted from new. Big Thanks for the video and info.....
Yeah way to do it mate.
fantastic
21:43 I’ve never had mine come down while travelling.
Wow Buck I'm jelouse getting that many views mate on ya legs wish I had a pair of good looking legs
Hi Buck, its a 12mm drive piece. great product and great vid mate
Yes it should be a 1/2 square drive mate so other things can fit to wind the legs up and down if the drill fails.

There is a diagram on the website on how to measure mate. Basically the top of the bracket where they bolt in.
Swap the front legs side to side and fold the legs to the rear.
Great gear

No the spare wheel is in the way to put it backwards mate.

where on the jack legs do you take your measurements from ordering the new lengths boss jack legs
The bracket on the van. Top of the bracket to the ground.
Can you move the front mud flaps to the front more as I can see a other bar there
Might have a look but I just put my knee against the mud flap. It's OK.
Buck
Can you wind them without a drill (flat battery) ?

03:00 half inch
Looking at getting these what size are you using as there are different lengths cheers
I use 500mm ones mate but just measure from where they bolt in to the ground.
Buck what about the weight of these monsters compared to the Alko type legs
Nooo do it on camera, so we can see how it is 12:05 keep the spare in the caravan
It is just one plastic pin Nicki.

The legs are usually on the main frame.
Think I’d just take take the jockey wheel off every time instead of “take that off, strap that, change this height etc” 🤷♂️
@@patryanlrd666 I have mine up out of the way and leave it on. Works well. Not sure why Buck doesn’t do this.
I’d used a bos 470 jockey wheel for a couple of years, then went with a blackjack electric jack, a lot better and user friendly.
11:40 probably could’ve bought a shorter leg.
Yeah maybe could have gone 400mm but I can get them up mate.
Bet you cant close your door when you lift the van up . The chassis arnt designed to be lifted from the stabiliser points.

Buy a better drill
The Ryobi is many years old and still doing the job mate. It has to be on low speed and high torque.
