    Look over past interviews, Dale said last year 40,000 people across Europe died, now it’s 60,000. Forgetting that’s out of a possible 756.4 million people on the Continent, ask him for the figures of how many people die from the cold during the winter and watch him squirm.
    Darragh is spot on. Have a look at the weather maps 10/15 years ago compared to now, have a look at the global temperatures during the Roman and Egyptian periods and especially look at who and how cobalt is mined from the ground using children in slave Labour that goes into the electric cars that Dale wants us all to drive. He bigs up China being a world leader in tackling climate change but neglects to mention that China has 1,100 coal powered power stations and building 300 more compared to Britain’s 3 coal powered power stations, one of which we are closing.

      It's not the heatwaves here you want to worry about. People in Britain will be mostly alright when it comes to the direct impact on climate. What you should be worrying about (or what your children should be worried about) is the optimistic estimates of a 30% reduction in global crop yields by 2050-2100. That's the optimistic estimate, the pessimistic one is 60%. Good luck affording food. Ph, and theres the tens of millions of migrant refugees who will be traveling to Europe from sub-Saharan Africa as it becomes uninhabitable to human life for several months of the year.

    I'll clear it up for you all, records only began being taken scientifically since 1845. So when they say it's the hottest on record they aren't even going back beyond 200 years of climate history. In medieval times we used to make our own wine here in the UK, we have only been able to start to grow grapes again in the UK over the past 20 years. Each cooling event is followed by a warming event and each warming event in the holocene following a cooling event has been colder than the previous warming event. The medieval warm period was cooler than the Roman warm period and so on, so we are gradually getting colder. The worlds most northern ice cap the Hans Tausen glacier in northern Greenland totally melted during the holocene climatic optimum, the warmest period in the holocene, and only grew back 4000 years ago when the Earth began to cool. Before 4000 years ago in the UK we used to have oak beetles, but they cannot survive in our current climate because it's to cold for them to survive and today we find them in southern France, southern Germany and southern Poland. This shows that previous to the 4200 year old cooling event it was far warmer than it is today...

    • @stnbch3025
      @stnbch3025 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Look at you deducing an unscientific narrative from something like we used to make our own wine...

    • @dreddykrugernew
      @dreddykrugernew 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@stnbch3025 look at you commenting on stuff you have no clue about.
      The HCO consisted of increases of up to 4 °C near the North Pole (in one study, winter warming of 3 to 9 °C and summer of 2 to 6 °C in northern central Siberia). Northwestern Europe experienced warming, but there was cooling in Southern Europe. The average temperature change appears to have declined rapidly with latitude and so essentially no change in mean temperature is reported at low and middle latitudes. Tropical reefs tend to show temperature increases of less than 1 °C. The tropical ocean surface at the Great Barrier Reef about 5350 years ago was 1 °C warmer and enriched in 18O by 0.5 per mil relative to modern seawater.
      Of 140 sites across the western Arctic, there is clear evidence for conditions that were warmer than now at 120 sites. At 16 sites for which quantitative estimates have been obtained, local temperatures were on average 1.6±0.8 °C higher during the optimum than now. Northwestern North America reached peak warmth first, from 11,000 to 9,000 years ago, but the Laurentide Ice Sheet still chilled eastern Canada. Northeastern North America experienced peak warming 4,000 years later. Along the Arctic Coastal Plain in Alaska, there are indications of summer temperatures 2-3 °C warmer than now. Research indicates that the Arctic had less sea ice than now.
      As a result of rising sea levels and decay of ice sheets in the Northern Hemisphere, the East Asian Summer Monsoon (EASM) rain belt expanded to the northwest, penetrating deep into the Asian interior. The EASM, being significantly weaker before and after the HCO, peaked in strength during this interval, though the exact timing of its maximum intensity varied by region. Current desert regions of Central Asia were extensively forested because of higher rainfall, and the warm temperate forest belts in China and Japan were extended northwards. In the Yarlung Tsangpo valley of southern Tibet, precipitation was up to twice as high as it is today during the middle Holocene. Pollen records from Lake Tai in Jiangsu, China shed light on increased summer precipitation and a warmer and wetter overall climate in the region. In the Korean Peninsula, arboreal pollen records the HCO as occurring from 8,900 to 4,400 BP, with its core period being 7,600 to 4,800 BP. Sea levels in the Sea of Japan were 2-6 metres higher than in the present, with sea surface temperatures being 1-2 °C higher. The East Korea Warm Current reached as far as Primorye and pushed cold water off of the cooler Primorsky Current to the northeast. The Tsushima Current warmed the northern shores of Hokkaido penetrated into the Sea of Okhotsk.
      The Hans Tausen Ice Cap, in Peary Land (northern Greenland), was drilled in 1977, with a new deep drill to 325 m. The ice core contained distinct melt layers all the way to the bedrock. That indicates that Hans Tausen Iskappe contains no ice from the last glaciation and so the world's northernmost ice cap melted away during the post-glacial climatic optimum and was rebuilt when the climate cooled some 4000 years ago.
      Do you see your own ignorance now?.

      Over 100 hundred years. We can make pretty good predictions before that as well. Extreme weather will always exist, it depends how often. We are in for a bumpy ride over the next 100 years. The problem with global warming is it's like a snowball rolling down a hill. The hotter it gets, the more ice you melt, cooling oceans and disrupting ocean currents, which will cause major weather events and shifts in climate. However, more ice melting releases more green house gases which have been trapped in the ice, increasing temperatures further, leading to more ice being melted. One of the scariest events will be when the Siberian ice fields melt, billions upon trillions of tons of frozen vegetation is underneath, once unfrozen more methane and carbon will be released than humanity could create it decades and that's when things will really warm up, melting more ice etc etc.

      @@whatwentwrong4599 how can you prove that humans are responsible for the change in climate? Extreme variations in temperature have been occurring since the dawn of time, the last ice age occurred 100 thousand years ago and ended 25 thousands years ago, I doubt air pollution from human beings was responsible for the ice melting then

    While banks give loans to build properties in places like Miami for example, floods and rising sea levels aren’t coming. Banks would employ the best scientists in the world to protect their money.
