    Creating Resin Beads 💎 using mylar flakes, star confetti, and a silicone mold! Stay tuned to the end - I use the finished beads in a piece of hemp jewelry. ✨ Resin Jewelry, yay! ✨I use Pebeo Gedeo two-part epoxy resin for the first time in this series of projects this week. I really like it! Resin with me as I make mistakes and turn flaws into features, lol!

    Do you ever have to put a top layer of resin after sanding to get the shine back? If so how do you get them to stabilize while they dry to prevent raised resin?

      Hi, S.L Craig :) . I've tried doming non-flat edges before to bring that shine back - with mixed results -I tend to over-coat and end up with drips and over-runs. From videos I've watched, often people are looking for that raised, domed look of adding a top layer. I'm still working out my techniques, for sure. I bought some resin sealing spray, thinking I could use it to coat matte pieces and make them shiny... but it didn't work. Maybe I put too thin of a coating on - more experimentation is needed, lol. Happy crafting!

    Watched this video after I messed up and poured way too much 😂

      Yes! It doesn't take very much at all! 😊 I always have, like, 6 projects in various stages of completion, because all my molds are so small. I learned the hard way: there is a minimum amount of resin that has to be mixed at any one time, otherwise it's too easy to have the proportion off, and the stuff won't cure right. Thanks for commenting! I hope your pour turned out okay in the end 🌷

    From where you got that small mould??

      Hello! I believe I got that one from eBay. You can get them in a set of, like 6 or 9 with different sizes and shapes, but I just got the one to try it out. Thanks for asking & happy crafting! 🌷

    Hi where are you based. Would you be able to do a commercial project for epoxy jewelry making?

    Can it be broken by the beads teeth and pleaz reply to my comment

      @angiebcraftsdesign  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello there. I'm not sure what you mean by beads' teeth. If you mean "can the peg inside the mold that creates the hole for the bead be broken off? " then yes, It can be broken. One must be gentle when removing the beads to prevent breaking that small peg. But if the peg is broken, I believe a drill could still add the whole afterwards. I hope this is helpful!
