    Hey everyone, i do realise the audio and music on this video is terrible, i apologise. I am working on improving my audio recording 💕 also please stop trying to correct my spelling. "Apologise" is spelt this way using an "S"in UK/australian english.

      The mold is a two sided dragon. Absolutely up his alley, but I believe it can be done with just the one side.
      I clearly need the hanger pieces, the heated resign and the thick resign to complete his dragon. Good to know.

    You mention early in the video the importance of thoroughly mixing your resin and hardener, and you're absolutely correct. At 14:00 or thereabouts, you start mixing colours into your resin, but the silicon cupcake moulds that you're using to mix them in are not suitable for mixing resin as the sides are not smooth. When mixing resin, much of it adheres to the container walls and bottom, and this must be constantly scraped to ensure an even mixture. This is why you used two small containers (resin and hardener) early on, and poured both into a mixing container instead of adding one to the other. It's just good practice to pour both into a third container. ALWAYS constantly scrape the sides and base with your mixing stirrer to ensure thorough mixing. Those containers are very likely to create an uneven mixture. Good informative video. Keep it up.

      This is a very old video and my techniques have definitely improved..i plan on remaking this video soon as i think i have grown a lot working with resin so i have better advice to offer. 😊 in saying that though, despite the face the cupcake molds aren't ideal, i never had an issue with the resin not curing correctly.

    Idea for you... Make some with like a snow globe-ish effect, where the star glitters, and bigger glitters are in an oil, mineral oil maybe? ... Do 2 resin halves, not quite as thick as you'd normally do them, have the wording and such... put glitter on one half, then put the halves together, and UV Glue most of the way up... and then add in the oil with a syringe maybe (?) and then UV glue the remaining bit, and the hole so that it doesn't leak out... and them maybe add an all over Resin coating to it, to seal it so the UV Glue doesn't let go... IDK. Just an idea that popped up when you were showing the end results... LOVE THIS!

    Great video, I love working with charms and beads. I always wondered how this jewelry is made. I could be just looking in all the wrong places- because I didn’t even know what Resin was until I came across these type of crafting videos. I think this gonna take all the jewelry I ever created just with charms and or beads to the next level. Wish someone told me about this ages ago LOL. I loved how you added in the colour and Glitter, a lot detail in these pieces but that is what makes art. By any chance do you like watching ‘Paranormal Files’ I’m only asking because one of ur pieces say ‘Stay Spooky’ they like ending their videos with that phrase.

    Well done video. Years ago, when people were making blogs for their crafting channels, NO one would give me information on how to make the blog....It took me quite a while to learn how to make my own headers, etc. I get it that people want to make money, but there's a lot of things we all can do so being selfish is a pet peeve of mine!!
    Your instructions were top notch....you did a great job!
    Thanks...I'm trying to figure out a side hustle to help pay for medications! This looks awesome! (You just gave me an idea as well.)

    Very helpful, thank you. They look great. Do you ever have any problems with the resin pieces fusing to the silicone mould please? They look like they release easily but a lot of other resin tutorials suggest not using a flame / heat with the mould? 🤔🤔🤔 x

    • @SeriouslyCreative
      @SeriouslyCreative  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello, i don't use heat on my molds anymore because it can destroy the molds and make the pieces stick 💖
