@@Mike_Oxlong420 idk how you could think jungles are boring, I reckon they're one of the most interesting biomes because of the brightness of the green, chaos of the landscape, and variety of plants and mobs you find in them.
But something oldmate forgot to mention in his video is jungle temples are actually very useful early game if you want to get into auto mob farms or redstone sooner or later in your game, as each one has 2 sticky pistons, which can be bothersome to accumulate early game if you dont wanna create a slime spawning area or don't want to go to a swamp in full moon.
Imo jungle temples make it more worth exploring to find jungles and then exploring the jungles, just for the sticky pistons; in my current survival world I had 2 sticky piston based mob farms before id even found more than 3 slime balls.

What's funny is that while they are called jungle and desert pyramids on the wiki, Bedrock edition refers to them as temples from within the game itself. In one of the preset seeds for Bedrock, it says: "Jungle Temple", and in one of the loading screen tips, it says something about a Desert Temple. Also I never forgot Jungle Temples and look for them whenever I see a jungle

None of these are really forgotten, though.. lesser known, maybe, but definitly not forgotten.
Btw TNT minecarts do have a great use in traps, as you can stack a ton of them in one block and increase the blast significantly.
You can get tons of tipped arrows with an villager raid farm, making it a lot less hard to obtain them. Spectral arrows are also pretty cool, just to play around with.
I don't know how you managed to dodge all the fossils in the overworld, it's not too hard to find one when caving imo.

Or get tipped arrows by villager trading with fletchers. We tried getting one villlager for each highest level type of arrow. It's literally hell and i cant count how many villagerheads i got due to vanillatweaks moremobheads datapack. there is still two of them missing, but at this point i'd rather upgrade our raidfarm to raid+hero of the village-farm. To anyone out there consider trying the same. In the beginning all goes well, its when there are only a few possible types of arrows left that you'll only get those you already have a villager for. What makes this process slow is the fact that you'll unlock tipped arrow trade only on the highest level and its not even granted to give you one at all but felt like 50% of the time you get another type of enchanted crossbow.
also much more forgotten than the skeleton horse traps are their halloween counterparts, which are almost impossible to get and even harder to contain.
they only spawn on the 24 hours of halloween in a thunderstorm, being the same as normal horse traps but the riders extracted from getting near the horse can wear normal or glowing pumpkin heads. the Prototech server did an amazing farm for that for older versions. without rng manipulation it all comes down to luck of getting a thunderstorm at all. you can manipulate it by communicating to not sleep in the period before halloween but its still rng.
our setup for versions above 1.12 was as follows:
We made a perimeter at spawn in the months before with flush glass floor above the bedrock (wasnt intended to be a farm, but we already had a perimeter, so why not use it for one ?:D )
we were camping at 0,0 for the whole time so only the perimeter stays loaded. Remember not to sleep no matter how many phantoms are trying to take your lifes, cause this will reset the thunderstorm timer.
we had a stream of water on one side of the perimeter from one end to the other: setup from the wall to the inside of peri: 1 Wallblock - 2 flowing water - 3 watersource every 8 blocks, flowing into the direction of one end followed by a pressure plate every 8th block - 4 pressureplate to contain the water
at the end of the perimeter we made a hole in the wall and further waterstream (remember to make it 3 0r 4 high to not kill the riders in the ceiling) to move them even a little further out of our 0,0 netherportal zone. after that they go into a nether portal because we collected them on top of our nether ceiling. This step is important because u need them to get out of a different portal than what you will go trough. There is a bug ( or working as intended?) in the game that entitys riding other entites cant use portals, thats why we need to get the lonely horse trap trough the portal without activating it resulting in riders that will never see another dimension again. to do this we need to keep a safe distant from the skeleton horse trap. marking each chunk in the perimeter with a chesspattern helps a lot in guessing distances. Now if we cant touch them or come near them how do we get them into our waterstream on one side the perimeter? everytime a thunderstorm happens watch out from above if any skeleton horse trap spawned. if so, fly down but keep at least 1 or 2 chunks distance from the horse at all times: now the hard part, id recommend to train this beforehand: build a basic flying machine that has 2 blocks in front so it will stop with its main pushing blocks above the pressureplates and not squish the horse into the wall (the wider the flying machine the better) in line with the horse and pray it doesnt move to much before it arrives. the closer you are to the horse, the lesser time it has to move out of the way, but in the worst case it walks in your direction while setting up the flying machine activating itself and therefore making itself useless for this purpose. if you done everything correctly and kept distance, your horse should move itself into the nether. from there on you can make a station where it gets kicked out of the portal and put into a minecart. from that point on its your decision where to guide it with the tracks to your display cases. i strongly recommend the nether roof, bc of ghasts and the whole thing being in a lavaless solid plane making railtracks much easier than going tru real nether.
in the end you need a activator rail to kick the horse out of its minecart when it has arrived in its final displaycase. keep distance the whole time trough, it helps to mark the distance to the tracks so you know where you can freely move.
Only now when the horse its in its at least 8 by 8 chamber you can go near it to activate the trap.
Now you have a bunch of skeleton horse riding strays in your displaychamber on the nether roof. depending on your rng luck, some or none will have carved pumpkin or halloweenpumpkin heads. also due to a bug in the game, these strays can with a tiny percentage spawn with double enchanted gear having none combinable or 2 of the same time of enchantments on the same armor peace or bow, but its really not worth farming those on halloween, use the other 364 days of the year if you are crazy enough to go for those. Dont forget to nametag them, be especially careful using F3+B that they cant see you in doing so, because if they get line of sight to a player, they will attack, and just one accidental friendly fire will most likely result in all but one of them getting killed by each other. a seperate cage for each initial horse trap is recommended. You can build the setup and test it on any normal day to check if it would even work, or set your pcs time to halloween to see the actual rates you could possibly get, no matter what, i highly suggest testing every part of the delivery chain beforehand since theres only this tiny window of time to farm these legitimately.
i hope at least one person is crazy enough to try this, if any of you have suggestions or improvements i'd be glad, too. this halloween is going to be the second time we're going for it.
just remember to prepare far ahead of time. The perimeter took us a while. Ilmangos world eater is definitely the way to go for that, so you'll at least require these farms:
Slimefarm, Witchfarm or really grind redstonemining...., sand/gravityblock-duper for the glass if you wanna be ecologically sustainable lol
good luck huntin' those forgotten features y'all ! :)

Fun fact: Arrows of Harming bypass nearly all armor points (except for protection enchantments) and ends up dealing more damage than a power 5 bow even with full protection, just don't fully charge your bow or else the arrow's raw damage will take over and actually do less damage.

I actually love using spectral arrows with any bows or crossbows that I have that can’t have infinity. I doesn’t come up often that I need or want to track where a mob went through a wall, but I can easily remember the few times I’ve needed it and not been able to. And with the crafting recipe being relatively cheep, and glow stone not being used for much once you have any lighting you need, they have no real downsides.

With the tipped arrow part, I actually find them very useful. Later on in my worlds I'll go get a few stacks of dragons breath and make tons of instant damage 2 arrows. Best loot for jungle pyramids are bamboo imo.
Tipped arrows are actually very farmable via tundra skeletons that give frost arrows that slow you down. But yeah it sucks the infinity effect doesn't work on them.
Also the furnace minecarts are good if you go up hills so incase you messed up they'll keep pushing them upwards. Only downside is that coal isn't long lasting so it wasn't suitable for long term travel. They really should update them with a more reliable way like stacking coals or adding several at a time in different slots would increase the speed like trains do irl. Maybe link the carts to make it like a mini train you can ride and can transport resources
