To me, this is an official video and it is quite sacred to the Elvis fan. Lisa Marie passed away, and this is a testimony to their love for each other. This is a very serious, heartfelt and quite emotional video for the average Elvis fan.

Listen to the words...they say alot if you put yourself in his shoes...and know everything he faced during his career. Lisa Maria lived her Daddy so much...with all the negative she grew up hearing, she defended him to the utmost.
She loved her daddy.She was with him when he died. 9 1/2 years old.

Yes that is Lisa singing on this one with him.. His wife, btw, wasn't from Germany.. her Dad was stationed in Germany the same as Elvis was.. They met in Germany but Pricilla was from the USA. This is a remix Lisa Marie did after Elvis had passed away.. He died when she was 9.

I know you "do not like gospel or religious music" so songs like this will be lost on you.
BUT the idea of this song is with God in your heart... you are "where no one stands alone"
To those of us who are Christians these songs give hope, they inspire and comfort us.
Not every song will make you want to rock, or dance...some touch you inside with the lyrics and the power of a great voice singing them. These songs are "deep songs" meant to say something to your heart and not everyone will enjoy them as much.

Welcome back Twano! I loved your show of respect for the girls living below you. You did us all proud. As I listen to Lisa Marie honor her father I am so very touched. Lisa loved her father intensely and was reported to have said that after he died, she never felt protected again. She has been his fiercest defender since his death. She too has passed at the age of 54. I believe they were soulmates. Thanks for this one Twano. I know gospel is not your cup of tea.

Lisa Marie was a fantastic singer on her own. Her first time out, her album went gold then platinum. Also, her oldest daughter is a well known, established actress and model. Keep up your great videos. Love watching them and hearing your thoughts. God bless.

E1R: Patch It Up. This is a gospel song from Elvis's "How Great Thou Art" album. Lisa Marie overdubbed it to insert herself with her vocals singing with her Dad. She was a big daddy's girl and absolutely adored him. Sadly, she was at his house the day he was found dead. R.I.P. Elvis & Lisa Marie. Btw, Lisa Marie recorded 3 albums; she was a singer/songwriter and her songs were not 'mellow.'

Priscilla, Elvis wife, was not from Germany! She was in Germany cuz her dad was stationed in Germany same time as Elvis. Lisa died 2023. She was 56. She died of heart failure. She left behind daughter and actress Riley Kepugh, Benjamin who committed suicide in 2020, about three years prior to Lisa’s sudden death, and a set of twin girls. Hope this helps to bring you up to date.
