The combat in odyssey is more satisfying than in Valhalla.

Eivor(I only played the male version) shows like "All I want is stay at my home and having good time with my family, just our way to survive is killing, or give a fk on Assassin Creed stuff)", with eyes of dead fish and stone face.

I was genuinely pleasantly surprised with the story presentation in Valhalla. It's not the most amazing narrative ever, but they managed to take an open world and weave a coherent and cohesive narrative within it. They do a solid job of actually fleshing out characters as well, whether characters part of your settlement, potential allies, and even the Order assassination targets, which were just generic npcs with no personality in Odyssey. I still liked Odyssey, but Valhalla is an improvement in terms of gameplay and narrative. Although, I still prefer the settings of Origins and Odyssey, as I find Egypt and Greece more interesting than England.

Because it is not about Valhalla/or Norseland but about invading England. The name should be completely different in the first place. It would be the same in God Of War 2021 on ps5 when the name is Ragnarok (doomsday in Scandinavian lands) and Kratos is doing things in France. Valhalla is just a beautiful/catchy name for the cover. I feel like Valhalla took many of the positives from Origins and Odyssey and combined them while stripping the game from many things people complained about in Odyssey. Odyssey's map is incredible, regardless of your thoughts on the game. It's a fun map, so explorable and actually fun to explore too. Feels a bit like RDR2 (although nothing compares to RDR2's open world so far) I felt like Origins map was kind of dull over all, except for a few notable areas like Alexandria and Cyrene. Pretty, but lifeless. I feel like Valhalla's map is a step down from Odyssey but a step up from Origins in explorability. Odyssey has the better setting of the three in my opinion. What I liked in Origins is back in Valhalla: the assassination effectiveness and the arrow effectiveness. It makes it easier to do stealth. I liked the Eagle's functionality better in Odyssey than I liked the hawk or the raven in Origins and Valhalla. That bird (so far) is pretty useless, which is an adjustment, especially when I just finished Odyssey. The main storyline is better in Valhalla than it was in Odyssey, because it feels more grounded/real and I feel like the quests give you so much to work with than they did in Odyssey. That being said, I loved the idea that Kassandra essentially went from literal nothing to a demi-goddess. I got really attached to her and her journey. I'm not as attached to Eivor's quite yet. I loved the armor system in Odyssey... mainly your ability to adapt your armor's look. That was so fun. IDK... I'm loving Valhalla so far. I'm very entertained. I haven't really played that much of it yet, so I'm sure it'll get better as I go.

I think that origins is the best in terms of wild life animals would eat each other and you could see it with Senu very lively world. Also the arena of Origins was amazing!. Odyssey had an amazing naval system I loved swimming in the waters of Greece, also the mythical creatures were really nice. Valhalla is good but it has many problems. The game glitches a lot, the AI is dumb as hell I always play with nightmare difficulty to have a challenge but Valhalla does not give me any, those things really messed up my experience in the game. The game is great you are this raider viking that wants to make his clan stronger it’s good but then again, I was disappointed that Grendel was not a mythological creature. Also HUGE problem for me: when you upgrade armor sets it changes their color, I hate it ‘cause I have a red hood and the legendary upgrade makes it blue. It’s a good game but with many issues.

Valhalla literally brings back so many old gameplay mechanics and the story connects to and mentions so many of the previous titles which connects the lore together fixing odysseys shitty mistakes with that random ISU bs they pulled and not even mentioning anything having to do with AC at all, Valhalla was way more immersive, combat wise they're both questionable, but Valhalla by far has a better story.

I’ve seen multiple side-by-side on the visuals. The character models seem better on Odyssey. Valhalla has a “cartoony” look to it and close ups are night an day, with some exceptions. Fulke and Alfred models seemed better than others. Also, not sure if it’s the voice acting, but I played as female Elvoir. The character felt flat. Finally, too much content in Valhalla. First world, I know but, how many times do we need to talk to Ranvdi? I found myself skipping dialogue towards the end.
