Hope you try their songs Life and Raitei. Raitei is a banger, Life is Such a beautiful song, very emotional. Mayus vocal performance, and the the guitars are so beautiful. Song is emotional for them, as it’s from their live stream virtual show back in august. Drummer Tamu just came back after time off giving birth. She is holding back emotion all song, until she cries. A favorite drum performance of mine. Their song Fighter is awesome. They cover The Trooper as well, my favorite cover of it. Mayus sassy vocal is just so cool. And Saki and Hazuki nail both Murray, and Smiths guitars. And they add their own flair. They have it live in studio, when Tamu was pregnant, and also live in stream during virtual show few months back. IM is a favorite band of the ladies. They cover Maximum the hormone, and Baby Metal songs. They cover songs each Friday, while their in their studio recording new songs for EP, album. Me personally I like how they are themselves playing, smiling having fun. Hazuki is from band Disqualia, and with Lisa X. Saki is also guitarist of Mary’s Blood. Mayu was in Lipstick. Haraguchi San was in Holderlins. Marata Tamu in various projects , session drummer, well known. But love Nemophila. Nemo, Band Maid and Lovebites are in my all time favorite bands.
Nemophila is rapidly becoming one of my favourite bands. So much talent, and I love Mayu's voice (well ... both of them;) with a bonus Mary's Blood Saki to boot. And, similar to Band Maid, they all seem to have so much fun playing it's infectious. Oh .. they have an online concert incoming on June, 19th btw. (again on Zaiko, like Band Maid)
This band is just great. Can’t get enough. They have done a lot of covers. They did a Kiss cover of Detroit Rock City... They did AC/DC Whole Lotta Rosie..to name a few..They have not released their debut album yet ... I cannot wait for that to drop. Their time is coming to take the metal world by storm.
They awesome and have lot of Fun, the chemistry between them are so good and the online Concert was great! They released seven Singles and on 25th June 2021 come there first Album "OIRAN - Extended Edition" including "Dissension" in englisch Version. I´m so excited. I love Nemophila!
Damn girls . They rock it to end. Love them . Awesome band. They go up with the irons! Metal ladies on the duty.❤❤❤ They gave justice to the song! Just gorgeous all of them, know how to rock it up!
You asked where they came from. Some info has already been given. I didn't see these details so here they are. As per my previous comment, Lead singer Mayu was formerly with Lipstick. In 2019 they all came together to help her make a demo... and here we are with Nemophila. Guitarist Saki (usually toward our right) has an awesome resume that includes all female metal band Destrose (at least a dozen bands have former Destrose members), Cyntia which started as fairly hard rock, Re:Maker, and now is (still) lead guitar of Mary's Blood (check out their MV "Marionette"), also plays in Amahiru, and is currently releasing a solo CD... So including Nemophila, she is in 4 musical bands/projects right now. She is the eldest, the godmother of the group, and knows the most English. Guitarist Hazuki is nearly as busy. Formerly with Disqualia, she is now a guitarist for Rami (first vocalist of Aldious) in live concerts, and Li-sa-X Band, plus Nemophila. Bass player Haraguchi was formerly with Hölderlins. Happy drummer Tamu Murata is in demand as a session drummer both for recording and live work. Formerly with Soramimi. Was pregnant while playing on several of the vids, took off for awhile to have the baby (boy) and bond, and now she's back. There is a vid on YT of her doing normal stuff at home like having a meal with her big guy and little guy.
Nemophila is a band formed in 2019, but actually each of their members is from a different band, so nemophila is like a super band type, and they are a very unique band, they have no specific style, each song has different elements, Both guitars are 7 string, and of course 5 string bass,Two guitarists: Saki and hazuki are very famous guitarists in Japan, drummer tamu is one of the best drummers in Japan, she not only plays rock and metal, she is also a very good jazz drummer. next one Please react to 《oiran》or《raitei》🔥🔥🤘🏻🌸
Tamu-san is a very good rock and session drummer, that's for sure, and there is no doubt that with her skills and versatility she definitely can play a solid drum part in a jazz jam session, or even in a concert. But I'm sure that even she herself wouldn't claim to be a Jazz drummer in any way whatsoever. #SenriKawaguchi #KanadeSato :-) That diminishes neither Murata Tamu's qualities, nor the ones of the band at large ... That being said I've got to admit that I'm a die-hard fan of Murata Tamu, Nemophila, Senri K. and Kanade S.
Fascinante, maravilloso, hermoso cover ! Que increíble voz de Mayu 🤟 Nemophila is my favorite band ! Tamu-san is fantastic drummer 🤟 and my favorite! i liked your reaction 👍 greetings I suscribe.
I don't know how long these ladies have been around. But to me they are the best new band I have heard in literally a couple of decades. Very tight very good musically the harmonies are perfect and their vocalist kills it.
Hey! more NEMOPHILA please :) they have made an awesome cover on Linkin Park´s "Given up" and you can almost hear Chester Bennington in that girls voice
What other Nemophila vids? ALL of them!! They even cover one Nickelback tune and make it rock! Mayu (lead singer) can do everything well. Clean vocals, head voice/chest voice, screams, growls, everything. So punkish-badass and Kawaii all at once. Formerly with Lipstick. When they broke up, these ladies came together to help her make a demo. It was was too much fun and too great a chemistry to not keep going. So they've done a wild variety of covers and now several great, mainly metal originals. And I pre-ordered their first album, something I have never done before. Ever.
Just watched this again. I'd recommend checking out Nemophila's cover of Kiss" "Detroit Rock City" (wearing Kiss make up!) and their cover of the Misfits" "Die, Die My Darling" I really like their original songs "Monster" and "Fighter" also. Love your reactions Jen, look forward to more!
Wanna see more? .. Nemophila will be streaming a concert online "Soko to Koko" on 6/19 (Sat.) This one will actually be prerecorded so they can interact during the stream, also they said so the quality will be better (I have seen all their online concerts and its great with a rare issue, because sometimes their sound guys mess up). These girls and Lovebites really capture Iron Maiden's sound - although Nemophila give it a punkish edge.

I am not a Nickelback fan either, however; when you play like Hazuki you can wear whatever you want.
