All i know....i do own 1 of this ute's....all i can say is..that she pull up hill....and pull like nothing happens.....just love it..and all this in lower gear
Seriously, coil rear. Now thats just put this one up in my opinion, and well ahead of opposition as only Navara & Musso had that choice. Just spent time with the previous model, interior had nasty black plastic interior and the ride was a tad harsh, but put those things to one side, the drive characteristics were good, power delivered well via 8 speed trannie, 100 klms an hour seemed effortless as you say and so friggin good for a ute people like to say is crap. Owner of that vehicle tows with it and says it's superior to the Colorado they upgraded from, does it effortlessly. I looked at this new T60 Max Plus model with a dealer after spending time with previous model and nothing was mentioned about coil rear suspension upgrade, just touched upon the obvious interior upgrades, gear selector stalk, centre consul, the combined screen & front grille. I'm a bit partial to the new look grille, finally it has a presence that doesn't reek of chinese indifference, it's appealing. Gotta research that coil rear end, I hate leaf springs with a passion, love coils as they offer more comfort and flex better off road. You've enlightened me just enough to take a second look at this ute, that coil rear end just changed things, if it resolves the harsh ride just a little over the previous model I could live with this ute myself.

Value for money u cant really beat them. Still plenty of the older ones getting round so they hold up ok over time
