A big difference between this drama and other typical K dramas is that here the characters r not saintly, they are flawed. Look at the grey shades So Ah and Yi Seo have. Moreover, these girls don't need Park Seo Roy to save them and change their lives. They are capable, efficient, skillful girls. But that doesn't make Park Seo Roy any less interesting. Guys don't always need to be knights in shining armour. They can be just a human being. I love this scene. Love doesn't always come with a bang. Sometimes it just creeps up on to you. ❤️❤️❤️

I cried so much in this scene. I cried alongwith Yi Seo. He was just a child when he got everything stolen from him. His entire life was destroyed just because he did the right thing. She cried for him because he never did. He never showed his true emotions. He just became numb to it all, purposely not feeling it so that he could achieve his revenge. This scene was truly heartbreaking. I felt so bad for the little boy royi was and what was made of him at such a tender age.
So glad a YiSeo came along to his life...an imperfect girl not yet a woman yet saw all his pain and wanted to rectify that by simply loving him and helping him achieve all his dreams...it was such a powerful and uplifting Kdrama that any one with good natured heart can't help but root for...this was such a therapeutic tvdrama for me...I love it.

This scene was so intimate, her internal dialogue was spectacular. This was the scene that completely sold these two to me, even though he already loves someone else so entirely and will probably end up with her since it's mutual, I will be so heartbroken to see these two apart. She really LOVES him. And one of the other things I love about them is that they actually TALK and DISCUSS things over, way more real if you ask me.

This is a female lead I can get behind. She’s so spunky and has a big personality. She’s flawed but still lovable. We stan!
Of the many dramas I have watched she is the one I have found to really love the guy. With other shows you don't really see much of the females showing how they love the guy but the guy is always the one to prove they love the girl. The girls mainly receive. But she cries on the moment she wasn't in his life to be his helper, supporter and to think Soo Ah was a friend in that time baffles me. Because she loves him she even takes his battles as hers and wants to help him fulfill his dreams. Whereas in the other dramas the girls just come more to be trophy wives cause the guy is already established they don't really seem to learn what their love interest is doing so they can be of support. This drama as the Golden Bride really show you what it is like when a woman loves her man, they are always there, supporting him and caring not just taking from him. I really admire these types of woman who also sacrifice and are hospitable to their love interest.

This scene really got me. It was so simple and downplayed and that’s what made it so beautiful to me. The whole scene is so natural and honest. They don’t even say much but you can tell how much she loves him and how easily he is able to open up to and trust her.
My favorite scene so far. This scene deconstructs how the public looks at "sociopath". They are insensitive and incapable of loving. For Jo Yi-Seo to say those words, "killing those who try to hurt Park Sae-Ro-Yi" makes this scene more emotional. Sociopaths are also known for being stubborn, getting what they want in whatever cost. Kim Dami plays her part so well.

@@sorfina2001 Yiseo literally knows that she's a sociopath. Her mom knows that she's a sociopath. Geunsoo knows that she's a sociopath. There was a flashback where the mom was talking to a doctor or teacher and they told her how Yiseo was showing signs of being a sociopath.

For someone who can't simply feel the same way like others do, you just know how moving this moment is for Kim Da Mi who actually felt the pain for Saeroyi even when the man himself felt almost numb through all of it.
It is love. Feeling the pain and loneliness from the past and promise to be with him the rest of the life. You are not alone anymore ❤️
I was reminded of the same story in the Drama "My Ahjussi". Lee JiAn who is still underage, likes and wants to protect a man who goes through a difficult past.

This is it, she really loves him, unlike soo ah who seems to fill her heard and lift ther shoulders with the idea that saeoryi likes her yiseo is actually willing to fight for him, just seeing her touch his scars and say she's emotional just listening him speak, that's love.

This is the scene that made me fall in love with Yiseo. I think even herself, she didnt expect she could love someone, moreover this deep. Its like when Saeroyi kneeling so easily for her sake and will do it a thousand times if needed (given his bitter past) when before he thought it was an impossible thing to do. That is why when Saeroyi told her at the end "Let's be happy", i believed that they will be, that bitter nights are over. And that the love they have for each other is the kind of love that lasts forever. It is not shallow, not fickle but a pure, selfless, perfect kind of love two imperfect persons can give to each other.

Yi seo characters is unique, she can bring all kind feelings towards her character, but this scene is too emotional for me. Not that i have this happen in the past, but yeah that feeling when you really love someone to cry just with knowing he's past story.. Glad to start this ongoing drama!
I can't relate to viewers who actually think Sooha and Saeroyi were a better match only because she was once his teenager crush or knew him the longest. YiSeo was diagnosed with social disorder that defined her lack of empathy. Here she is actually feeling the pain of someone and being protective of other person, maybe for the first time. Saeroyi lack of emotional connection in his life it's clear. It's the very first time such intimate detail of his life is shared. More to it, Saeroyi is so used to hardship and loneliness as routine that he himself felt disconnected to the fact until YiSeo brings up the question and seems so affected by it. This scene, among many others, is a hint of how YiSeo and Saeroyi will change for or because of the other's existence in their lives. This is completely different from Saeroyi and Sooha dynamic.
Even tho it was a long time since i saw this drama, but till now i can’t forget about this scene because it was so emotional and lovely , i always cry when i see it, even now for example.
From time to time i search for this scene and watch it again just to feel this emotion again…..
especially the part where she say “ i decided to kill whoever miss with this guy “ …. It hit different . I just love her that’s all i can say, and i love their relationship it’s so beautiful 😭😭❤️❤️❤️❤️

I know this scene is cute and all, but can we just talk about how beautiful their relationship dynamics is as a whole? Especially these past two episodes where they really get *hot* and *messy* while arguing. You see, as much as romance is a pretty idea, having a relationship with someone is straight up hard work, since most of the time it's just both of you not getting each other. Communication is key, and before you decide to make amends it is important to understand both sides first.
Now, that's what Da Mi and Saeroyi do. They don't just *compromise* for the sake of keeping the relationship (like you know who), they actually *talk* even to the point of *fighting* because they want to make it work for *both* of them before making a decision.
That, ladies and gentlemen, is why they're the superior ship.

I watch a lot of movies and dramas in a lot of languages. But this drama made go into an emotional roller coaster. This week, I couldn't stop thinking about this drama. I keep checking the time and date. Waiting is always painful, the pain only you know and can never express with words. The writer has done good work on showing the realistic side of human emotions in this drama.

I've never watch any K-Drama before. So, i decided to watch Itaewo Class because the ad on youtube showing a fight in a school. As a guy who interested in action webtoon, i choose to watch this series as my first K-Drama. And..... Shit. It was fucking amazing.. Just like i expected. No exaggerating romance, and it's really good in any other aspects. Good Job to cast & crew. You just made an-anti K-Drama guy into a very fan of this entertainment.
Black Legacy i couldn’t agree with you more on this.I loved this drama because it’s so different from the other cringy romancey dramas. This drama actually teaches you hard lessons in a nice way. This had action, it hits you hard with emotion, you actually root for the main guy to beat the villain. Dramas aren’t all supposed to my romance.

One of my fave scene. Such a warm scene. Yiseo understood his hardships and tried to comfort him. Someone is hurt for him. Someone cried for him. And that promise that she will destroy whoever hurts him. Awww. Beautiful. Simply beautiful.

My Thoughts: It will be Yi Seo in the end and I think Soo Ah knows it. If you notice, how he treats Soo Ah and how he treats Yi Seo are totally different. PSRY actually argues with Yi Seo if she does something wrong, he gets really angry about it but if Soo Ah does something he just forgives her and says its okay..which one has the more realistic and lasting relationship?

Park Seo-Joon always chooses roles with unique plots. 'Fight for my way' also had a unique plot, a fresh one and he played it so well🤭
I like this scene for so many reasons, mainly because her character is neurodivergent, they can struggle with a lot with loneliness, and finally finding more common ground to allow her to empathise with some one she was interested in, and finally be able to feel deeper emotions after she let her guard down was nicely handled.
On point. She was not just in the Top 1% in terms of IQ but of EQ too. ❤️

After watching this scene, I am 100% for Yi-seo! In the early episodes, I thought Soo-ah is a much better fit for him but after this scene, I'm team Yi-seo! When it comes to looks, Soo-ah got the edge on Yi-seo BUT...
1. Yi-seo is a strong woman. Her will and determination is truly admirable.
2. He needs a strong woman beside him to face the challenges ahead, and that's Yi-seo
3. I love the chemistry of the characters between Yi-seo and Sae-roy.
4. Yi-seo is a woman of action and Soo-ah is more of "I don't know what I want but if you can read my mind, go ahead" lol. Sae-roy need a woman of action.
I know it may not be a popular opinion but I'm sticking to this. Sae-roy and Yi-seo all the way! :)
