9:10 that sound your hearing is the thrust reference on the throttle being engaged it’s to help the aircraft reach climb altitude only airbus airplanes have it though

Nice video, it's always a pleasure to view flights between countries the general public doesn't see very often on TH-cam. Meanwhile, THY really needs to upgrade it's outdated business class seats and configuration. THY has relied too much on its outstanding catering, but has ignored the obvious in order for them to remain competitive.
Tahnks @mvbo31! Soon I will upload the leg from CCS to IST. I find TK very good and competitive. The only thing I didn't like a lot was the privacy that other Business Class airlines offer but in general, I found it very good, everything was working, clean, much space etc. Can you explain what exactly do you mean? @@AirFlightTravels I have also flown THY - J class - recently (LAX to IST) and (IST to LHR) and agree that their in-flight service was outstanding. However, for the amount of money I paid for the ticket, they certainly don't receive any brownie points for an experience that was supposed to have been exceptional anyway. Nevertheless, in THY's favor, I think to have the onboard chefs make a significant difference on their long-haul routes. In particular, it adds an ambiance of sophistication to the passenger's overall experience, and the chefs, in my opinion, are better trained and equipped to prepare the in-flight meals.
Meanwhile, THY's current business class seating is simply not competitive. It offers no privacy (I agree with you) and no direct aisle access with their modern aircrafts' 2-3-2 configurations, instead of the increasing industry standard of 1-2-1, or at least offer something similar to Emirates' A380 J class seating (the ones configured for direct aisle access). Turkish Airlines needs to change this, or eventually, they may lose premium customers to other carriers who offer the latest seats that dictate current market trends and preferences. For example, a family member and I are traveling in late July to South Africa on Qatar via Doha. Based on my experience with THY, we could've easily chosen them for our trip. Moreover, they were actually cheaper. However, I wanted to try Qatar's new Q-suites, so my sentiment won the day.
mvbo31 As of the summer 2020 schedule, a lot of routes including this IST - HAV - CCS flight will be replaced by TK’s brand new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. The Dreamliner will offer a 1-2-1 configuration with much more privacy than their current business class product. I think you’re right about the current business class being outdated and hope they will renew their 777 and A333 product with the arrival of the 787 and A350
@@gk333_ Well that's definitely a good move for THY, and thank you for the update. Moreover, I would also expect for them to refurbish all of their long-haul aircraft. Their short and medium range product is more than adequate given what other carriers offer. However, another product I wish TK would bring back is their premium economy. Talk about deja vu.

Nice Video. Can you go out from the plane in CCS? Maybe go to the bath, buy something in the stores or eat inside the departures area of the terminal? I'm from Venezuela but i Live in Panama, it's very stressing wait for 2 hours inside a plane.
