She's one of the best exp laners rn but only if enemy go with troll exp laners like sun, if the enemy had dyrroth or yz zhong you wouldn't take the chance to cut lane

Another tip is to use her Passive!! Whenever you move after a skill it you will dash a short distance which gives her defence stats and can stack upto three times iirc.

Ruby is decent to hold her line, but she shine in team fight. Just be careful with hero that more specialize in 1v1 and prefer 2v2 or more if can, then you can get the edge easier. She is not only good lifesteal, but also CC.

Enemy no tank and dumb plays, low rank for sure this works. Higher rank they just counter with anti heal and burst dmg 😂
if only mythic or higher tier have this kind of enemy then you can play ruby like that.. tho the reality is it's too easy to counter ruby by counter pick or just by buying antiheal stuff.. as ruby player myself i can tell you that much
you should stop playing Ruby and DON'T call yourself Ruby player too, if you can't even handle antiheal items and all those whatever counter hero you mentioned
The only counter hero for ruby i’ve encountered so far is minsitthar, other than that it’s managable with purify spell. For the antiheal, just use sustained/semi build lol.
Her cc is way more useful than her personal dmg in teamfight. You’re supposed to rotate around the map after 5 minute/first turtle anyway.

Is there a way for us to counter anti-heal items? I'm having a hard time with ruby if the enemy has one
Oracle and/or queens wings. Doesn't 100% counter but it helps. Your other options are a full damage build (play like a burst hero) or build full tank.

@@ellmanncayetano5551 i thought you are looking for heroes that can do the same role as Ruby. Thats why I mentioned Arlott for his cc and damage. Cici is good for damage, but no burst or hard cc. Still annoying when zoning. Martis is good pick also in solo qeue as he can be a jungler or exp (in case S5 suddenly choose assassin). Same low cd skills, lots of cc and damage but less sustain without items than Ruby.

I’ve tried a variety of battle spells and equipment to contend with Ruby as the counter, and nothing really quite helps.

I've been playing Ruby only since yesterday, in fact I have it my channel I'm looking for an ultimate guide to play this hero and you were the one I copied from, thank you
Ruby main here, practice your backwards and forwards flicker hook. It's her bread & butter while also being her only skill shot. Here's a tip, the timing to execute her flicker hook is a little tricky. Her forward flicker hook has no pause while her backwards flicker hook has a slight pause before you hit flicker.
Furthermore, she has a small window to dash after each skill cast, so that means you can squeeze in an extra basic attack before dashing away,
i.e: 2-BA-DASH-BA
Depending on the situation, it makes a huge difference between letting your enemy escape and securing a kill, so I suggest you to switch your joystick settings to fixed position, that way you do not have to drag to move and just tap the direction to want to dash to, it's quicker, the window to dash is small after all.
The amount of heal you can do isn't solely based on your spell vamp stat but also the damage you can dish out so in certain situations you can opt for more atk stat instead. (Which is why you heal more with skill 1&3 even though all 3 skills provide 125% spell vamp)
Lastly, the amount of HP you heal is based on TOTAL damage dealt to ALL enemies, so during fights, it's better not to be so eager in clearing minions. That's all from me, happy hooking!
@@briangohzhen I've been playing MOBA game for 8 years now, I started playing from League, AoA, AoV, to ML. This makes so much sense as most of the MOBA game mechanics are the same. I ain't pro but I consider myself as an above average player so I can master heroes quickly. From the tips and suggestions you made, it is very informative and I am well aware of all that, but in fairness you made your statement clear. Hopefully other players will learn some pro tips from you.
