Something worth noting is that second skill, is an immediate stun that also pulls enemies.
So it can be used to stop many skills like Guinevere jump, yin dash, Edith dash, dyrroth dash, kagura second skill with the umbrella, it can get Fanny off the cables
Basically any dash skill that isn't an immediate blink can be stopped by her second skill
And since the stun is immediate, you can use it to stop yin casting his ult, tigreal ult, kadita ult, etc
i used ruby and encounters chou abit much and i'do say she can stop chou from ulting you too! i escaped alot from it
@@kutaka7570 yes, if you use the anti-magic boots, the status resistance will help to stop chou ult after he goes behind you, you can stop his jumps too

@@ikanjisensei So I tried the build you suggested but noticed I'm not dealing enough dmg. So the build is still the same but I replaced bruteforce breastplate with endless battle. Been doing decent with the build so far 😆. You think war axe is worth building on Ruby, should I replace with Malefic roar?

This is, by far, the best Ruby tutorial on TH-cam. I like how you pointed out that there were multiple changes these past seasons. Content creators, please take into account what he's doing here. Update your hero tutorials to cope with the changes in the game. Some hero tutorials are still using the old emblem system and still suggesting items that are no longer relevant.

I would like to point out that oracle increases the current heal after the effects of dominance ice, here's an example if ruby heals 100 HP and dominance decreases it then it will be 50 but oracle will not increase it to 80 but 65 because it increases the initial heal by 30% not the original

Theres not a lot of people talking about this in the comments, so I'll speak up.
Another thing i noticed about her, having used Ruby for a loong time, is that her first skill does 2 swings. Look closely at whenever this guy uses her first skill.
Did you see that? She does a second swing after the first. It seems they shortened it's range though (It used to be 2x longer than the new one). Try to take advantage of this and get closer to the enemy then use first skill for more spell vamp and damage. Trust me.
6:55 actually it's 65% not 70% when you build oracle
The calculation is
100%spellvamp - 50%Life drain= 50%spellvamp
Then use the 50%spellvamp ×30% that we got from oracle=15% spellvamp
Finally combine them together 50%+15%=65% spellvamp
(Noted=m not a hater, just want to correct you nothing else.) ❤
Idk but from early before since earlier im use ruby with blood axe 😂😂, idk why player use high claw , it is already said at hi passive basic attack life steal doesn't count , but it ur gameplay so keep win n reach glory , btw nice vid bro

I'm used to being an alucard user, I switched to ruby this helps a lot i got a question though when you said how to counter anti heal enemy by just using bloodlust and penetration will melefic roar work since it has the highest penetration? Just subscribed btw

As a ruby main user, it's sad that ruby no longer meta.. Ruby back then can't be counter by item. no enemy can easily coubter her
Well allow me to gave you some advise then..
1. Dont rellying too much on Spell Vamp.. i know thats ger strong point but think about it, nowadays people actually build her as damage dealer instead of being semi-tanker so the gameplay also evolving from annoying sustain hero to annoying damage dealer.. kinda similar to Chou
And believe it or not i did exactly that even when i had to become a Roamer since her 1st skill got buffed..
2. Try to mastering the Flanking play style..
Like i said before Ruby's gameplay had evolving kinda similar to Chou
she is still in meta e.g baloy is using her in mpl ID

In my experience, I think this is good for general build:
CD boots + Bloodlust + War Axe + Bruteforce + everything else is whatever you need or prefer
If you have a healer ally, you can remove cd boots and build other boots, then buy Oracle.
For tank, I go full tank with 40% cd build and emblem. I don't think ruby as tank is generally optimal, more like a niche thing where her skills are super perfect against multiple enemies, because if you just target one or two enemies with your tank picking, there's high likely an actual tank is better than Ruby.
So her comobo is 123 or 312 ? I might not be understanding to well 😅 i need an even more simple way lol is not as easy but i didnt know the basic attack tip or the flicker combo one ty ty

Can someone explain why full penetration + oracle counters anti-heal items? or why that combination would keep me from dying
I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but i mainly play Ruby in the exp lane and i find her early game very poor. And i always end up dying. Should i just spend most of my time farming till i get good items for sustain?
I like going full damage but I build brute force so I don't get slapped the moment the team fight starts
Thank you. I can relate with that as a Ruby user. I didn't aware that haas claw is no longer relevant until i notice it during the gameplay. There's no lifestealing effect unlike before so I changed the equipment with CD effect. And its worth it. Then I watch your video. Thanks for all the tips. 😊

Correction- Hybrid lifesteal does not mean the inclusion of both lifesteal and spell vamp, it means the combination of magical and physical lifesteal. Just like hybrid penetration for example.
So yeah, hybrid lifesteal still won't work for ruby skills as it requires spell vamp.
test it out it still gives benefits Spellvamp for Ruby

•Endless battle gives- 188life
•Blade of despair- 180life
As u can see the difference is almost negligible. So even if u do take endless there won't be a very big difference in the lifesteal proportion considering u r going damage.
yes because it's just 8% spellvamp from it that's why it is not that much compare to bloodlust axe but if you use it full comp
blood lust endless wings and etc. plus emblem you will get high spellvamp

There is no more distinction between physical and magic lifesteal. Now it's just lifesteal and spellvamp. So hybrid lifesteal gives both lifesteal and spellvamp.
