Oh deer. xD I enjoy listening to the vernacular between different places. The phrase "I got this off my dad" etc sounds strange because it sometimes can mean stealing in the US. "I got this off a guy when he wasn't looking", don't know if there is a similar thing in your vernacular. :P enjoyed as always.
