Sounds like you had an awesome Christmas, indeed. Mine was definitely different. My mom passed away, back in August, and that "Empty Chair" at the table definitely loomed large. But we all told stories of fond memories, so it was almost like she was there...if that makes any sense. I hope you have an awesome New Year, and cannot wait to see what you have "cooking", video wise in the new year.

It looks like you received quite an excellent haul this year. Your mum really knows your taste. My personal favorite gifts were the occult bat and the guinea pig mug with the paper crown. I enjoy seeing how delighted you are when discussing your gifts with us. I spent this Christmas with my sister and parents, and we had a lovely time. I think I was given a cold as a gift though 😷 BTW your outfit looks very pretty, as does your hair. Happy New Year Jen 🎉❤

Sorry to hear you got a cold. If it makes you feel any better I got the flu from playing with my cousin's kids (age 2 & 3) on Christmas. I'm just laid out in bed watching this on my phone via propping a pillow on my chest. This is the first time in days something has gotten my mind off how bleh I feel. So thank you for that.
As someone who is a fan of old 80s Troma films like The Toxic Avenger & The Class of Nukem High series, I would totally accept you for the wonderful person you are even if you were radioactive.
I don't always comment, but I have been very much enjoying your Steampunk videos of late.
And, lastly, that kind of sucks that they do that with dogs now. The dog I have currently I got from an old lady a street over who unfortunately had a stroke. The dog in question, who was a puppy at the time, suffered (still does) from seizures & needs to take meds daily for it. She was in no condition to take care of him so I took him in. He's a little brown Yorkie named Muffin, because he's as sweet as a cinnamon muffin. He's the biggest smoocher I've ever seen. If you let him, he will lick your nose off. I couldn't imagine someone passing him over for a pet as that would be the mistake of a lifetime.

I got 3 rolls of 35mm film for my camera, Oppenheimer on 4k Blu-ray, some lush bubble bars, a film premier sign with my name on it and a huge monster of a book of almost all of H.P. Lovecraft's stories.

Im the crazy dog lady. We have 6 😅 4 we adopted, 1 that one we adopted birthed because she was already pregnant unbeknownst to us and 1 i bought from a backyard breeder which was the biggest mistake of my life (not because we dont love her although shes our meanest baby but shes had more health issues than any dog we have ever owned) i hope maybe you will reconsider adopting. Im not sure the doggy situation where you are but our local pound has like 140 dogs right now (no kill shelter thankfully) but we are just a smallerish town so its heartbreaking. They have a dog who has been there for close to 600 days 😢 if i didnt already have 6 hed have a home. Its so sad how many sweet dogs are at the shelters now. Sorry for the tangent im just the crazy dog lady who wishes she could save them all.
I would love to adopt but the shelters literally don’t let you go and look at the dogs, it’s crazy!

I’m a volunteer for the greyhound trust…plenty of long puppers that need good homes there.
We homed 2 ourselves, and they are nothing like there public image. Way more low maintenance than your average canine.
Just a suggestion.
I’ve been thinking about going there but as I know most ex racers are trained to chase small furry things, I’m not sure they’d mesh well with my guineas 😅
Believe it or not, all the greys get individually assessed for their likes and dislikes. Are they tolerant of other dogs, will they share a space with a cat…and even how aggressive are they with small critters.
There are some out there that retire super early simply because they have a low prey drive.
