Yeah it shows Victors thought process and selfishness because he doesn’t care about anyone or get attached to anything and only thinks about him so killing this temporary girl meant nothing cuz Logan would’ve lived past her anyways

liev schreiber was excellent on this role. he played the part effortlessly natural. i like his style of acting on this one.
His presence on any screen with Jackman. He was never overshadowed. He had a powerful presence. Great actor.
The reason Schreiber's take on the character proved to be such a hit is because the "More Beast than Man" aspect of the character is played more subtly
He absolutely passes as a normal man on the surface but you do _not_ want to be left alone with him
Liev Schreiber was sublime as Sabretooth.
I realize this movie gets some grief, but the interactions and chemistry between Jackman and Schreiber make it worth seeing IMO.

Despite of the bad CGI effects, bad script, to make matters worse destroy the X-men prequel, for unknown reasons this is my favorite wolverine film second is Logan and last is The Wolverine.

Idk the Wolverine was good and objectively better than Origins for sure but I had more entertainment value from the previous two. The Wolverine is not a bad film by any means though just my least favorite of the 3 as it just felt a bit distant maybe because of the setting and different unfamiliar characters.

I started watching the X-Men franchise again. I just finished watching The Wolverine. An amazing movie. My favorite part is when Jackman says "Go Fuck Yourself Prettyboy"

Victor was pretty cool about where he fought. He wanted to do as little as damage as he could for the owner, so he tossed logan back out the door. Pretty thoughtful right before a beat down.
this movie should've been called x-men origins: "VICTOOOR!!" because if theres one thing I'll never forget about this movie was Logan's loud disturbing victor shout that you would continue to hear throughout the entire movie😂
The movie might not have been as good as it could've been but the casting is spot on for Sabretooth, Gambit and of course.....Ryan Reynolds.

Always liked that part at the beginning between Victor & the bartender
Even though they bonded the metal to his skeleton, why didn't Stryker add a protectant to prevent the metal from poisoning his body so wolverine can live longer
The adamantium metal itself is severely toxic. Logan was chosen for the simple fact that his pain threshold is far greater than any mutants ever come across including Victor. The healing factor is what keeps him going. It's fighting the toxicity of the metal constantly. But there is one singular drawback, wolverine has said that despite the healing Factor he's constantly in chronic pain. Not just from the previous wounds of every battle he's ever fought, but the adamantium in his skeletal structure puts him in the state of chronic arthritis.

He is actually born with Adamantium depending on which comic you read.

In the movie he is james howlett born in the 1800s and when he flees after killing his father he goes by the alias Logan

His real name isn't just Logan. it's James Howlett-Logan. Victor called him Jimmy since they were kids, brother's nickname. He changed it to Logan when he killed Thomas Logan killed his adoptive father. Tom was Wolverine's actual father and was the Howlett's groundskeeper when he and Wolverine's mother had an affair that turned into Logan.

It’s a great scene, since Victor up until this point, was mostly a violent and sadistic killer, who killed everyone around him connected to “Team X” and its missions however, when it came to civilians who crossed paths with, he couldn’t be bothered with, even making small talk 😂
