Thank you for your video. It helped me figure out what happened to my car. My car wouldn’t drive because my EPS light had come on and the steering wheel was hard to move and turn the wheel. I looked up how to fix the EPS and saw your video. It turned out to be low air in my tires and I added air in them and the light went out and my car works perfectly now. Thank you for putting your video out there.

@MichelleDufala Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad to hear that the video was helpful and that your car is back to working perfectly. It's amazing how something as simple as tire pressure can impact the EPS system. If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. Safe driving!

@ColinMowatt-j5m The power steering system in a vehicle is typically located in the engine bay and consists of several components. Here's where you can find the main parts of the power steering system:
      1. Power Steering Pump
👉 Location: The power steering pump is usually mounted on the engine and driven by a belt (serpentine belt). It can often be found on the side of the engine, connected by hoses to the steering system.
👉 Function: It pumps hydraulic fluid to create the pressure needed for power-assisted steering.
      2. Power Steering Fluid Reservoir
👉 Location: The reservoir is generally mounted on or near the power steering pump or in a separate area within the engine bay. It's where the power steering fluid is stored and where you can check and refill the fluid.
👉 Function: It holds the power steering fluid and provides it to the pump.
      3. Steering Gearbox/Rack and Pinion
👉 Location: The steering gearbox (in older vehicles) or rack and pinion (in most modern vehicles) is located near the front axle, connected to the steering wheel and the wheels themselves.
👉 Function: It converts the rotational motion of the steering wheel into the linear motion that turns the wheels.
      4. Power Steering Hoses
👉 Location: These hoses run between the power steering pump, the steering gear (or rack and pinion), and the fluid reservoir.
👉 Function: They transport the hydraulic fluid under pressure from the pump to the steering gear and back to the reservoir.
      5. Electric Power Steering (if applicable)
👉 Location: In vehicles with electric power steering (EPS), the system may be located near the steering column or integrated into the steering rack itself.
👉 Function: EPS systems use an electric motor to assist with steering, eliminating the need for hydraulic fluid.
      ✅ How to Access:
Under the Hood: Open the hood of your vehicle and locate the components as described above. If you're unsure, consult your vehicle’s owner’s manual for specific details on the location of the power steering components.
