Although it is not the same in a 1:1 scale model as in a 1:64 scale model; A carbon fiber body is one of the most shocking visual phenomena there is. I think of a Koenigsegg with "tons" of carbon fiber everywhere and it's love at first sight. McLaren makes some really beautiful models, with features, technology and great visual appeal. In this CM model I like how the carbon fiber is represented despite its small size. I think the inclusion of other wheels with different rims and the way to implement their installation is great. Perhaps in terms of production and manufacturing costs, it is easier to make the base completely out of plastic and be able to make changes to tires and wheels as opposed to making a mixed base: metal in the center and plastic at the ends for modifications. TPM makes the 1:64 Koenigsegg Gemera in carbon fiber, in black, green and purple colors. Do you have more carbon fiber models?
@SiegedByCars Koenigseggs carbon fiber is one of the best out there. I absolutely love that company. Hoping we get to see more and more of their cars in 1/64 from licensed retailers. I know there's a plethora of unlicensed Koenigsegg out there but it doesn't sit well with me. So I'll be waiting for CM to start making them. They are already doing the Jesko which looks stunning
@jayr3283 I only have 2 CM Mofels so far, one had a plastic base and the other has a metal base. With that being said, the ones with plastic bases will be lighter and the ones with metal bases will feel similar to mini gts
@@Booster_Diecast thank you for the reply, I actually have the latest mclaren senna gtr on preorder, and it says it has metal base. The new 765lt looks good too but the base probably is plastic since yours is.
@jayr3283 yeah CM seems to be very 50/50 on whether they're metal or plastic lol. I will also be getting those Senna GTRs. They look amazing and I could compare them against the LCD versions
That looks incredibly sick dude. I'm usually more of a basic paint job guy but I really started to like these full carbon cars.
@spidersdiecast yeah I typically enjoy the nice clean paint jobs as well but sometimes these full carbon models are awesome!
LoL that intro was cool 😂 Great video as always
@@MrGreen980 thanks 😂
I'm going to order one today!
@@donc8546 sweet!
5 gold spokes 👀 Great video!
@@DiecastGTRGarage thanks man
I’m not a big McLaren fan, but that’s a great piece, very well done.
@@Diecastclassicist definitely a cool model
Hilarious opening! Love it Lol. What a great model! I have the LCD ones and they are superb.
Glad you enjoyed! LCD does make some great models. I can't wait for their lamborghinis
I definitely like the five spoke wheels better!
@@bobbyjones2112 agreed
Great car and video!

I’ve just picked up my first few models from CM. They seem to have nice details, not sure how accurate the scale is though?
@@oliverjones6687 the scale is spot on
What about the weight of the car sir? Are cm models lighter compared to mini gt?
