67 years old. Had CFS for 28 years. Lost everything and just waiting to die. But I’ll give Susanne’s suggestions a go.

Great! I highly recommend you watch this recovery video by Karen, 66. I know Karen from the mentorship calls at CFS Recovery. She is very admirable and a particularly good role model for recovery. 🌟
If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask ☺

That's great. ☺We are never too old. You still have plenty of time to lead a healthy and fit life. Give it a try. I highly recommend you watch the video by Karen, 66, on Miguel's channel. Karin is a wonderful role model for CFS recovery. I know her from the group calls and appreciate her very much.

May I ask what symptoms you may be struggling with ATM?

Age is not an issue for CFS recovery. We have a 12 year old boy in the program, supported by his family in the calls, who is making wonderful progress, as are participants in their 70s.

@@cfsrecovery Thank you both for your encouragement. I am so very tired that just the thought of visualising doing anything that I might enjoy is exhausting. I have lost interest. I can go days without being able to shower and dress. I have to choose between those or an urgent household chore, like changing my bedlinen. I can manage five minutes before my muscles start to hurt and brainfog begins. I have orthostatic intolerance. Ten minutes of being upright and I feel sick and am weak to the point of collapse. I spend most of my day lying down. I sleep for hours in the afternoon. I cannot regulate my body temperature so my sleep at night is badly disrupted. If I do too much (e.g. 15-20 minutes of housework) I am likely to have post-exertional malaise the next day. My memory and concentration are poor.

    Dear Susanne,
I am glad to see your recovery and I think one of the things that helped you was your spirit of helping others, your positive mindset, your hards works and your analytical mind. As a mentee and as a friend I have seen your struggles through out the years. I am really happy that not only you got your health back but now your sharing your experience and journey with others.

Suggestion: it would be so wonderful if you could interview Neurologists, endocrinologist or functional neurologists who could explain exactly what the science behind this condition is. I am a health coach and have been recovering for the last one and a half years. I'm not fully recovered yet, but it really would be helpful to understand the mechanics from a scientific perspective behind what is actually happening with the HPA disfunction. Of course I'm not sure anyone really fully understands it but there might be some Neurologist who have a good understanding.

    Hi Susanne and Miguel,
congratulations on this documentation of such a significant improvement from the wheelchair back to life.
Susanne's good recollection, her precise observation of every single step and Miguel's underlining of the crucial aspects make this video extremely valuable.
It makes sense to watch it several times and reflect on every detail !

We would love to help you out but I have to see if we can even help you first. I always recommend going through the questionnaire and if you qualify, booking a strategy call to see if you're a good fit for the program! www.cfsrecovery.co/apply.

@@cfsrecovery Hi, chronic fatigue for 45 years and vertigo, thyroid and digestion issues. When I was 20 I was bitten by a tick and also got mono, and was never the same.

I'm confused bc sitting down during brushing your teeth is conveyed as an example of severity? I imagine a lot of people to have to do that, due to heartrate pots and just general pacing. Am I not right, and that's an outstanding thing?
