My ford performance tune just came in and I plan on doing it after my first break in oil change. I cant wait! Did a mild launch and 0-60mph test and hit 5.9 seconds. 😈
downpipes with some good 300 cell high flow cats would top this off nicely. Cat-backs are minimal gains with turbo motors. Stock downpipe / cat is normally the choke point.
The stock exhaust on this truck is pretty good already. If anything it will probably benefit from cat deletes or downpipe if they are as bad as the explorer ones.
@@BuckleUpButtercupTV I had a 2012 Ford FPV F6 (check it out online) with all their fruit. Made 500hp at the rears, was super fun. Regret selling it.
The tubes are tapered cutting the circumference down - I do not understand how airflow would be improved. I think we are saying the engineers at ford didnt know how to improve it
@Mc.Nuggetz yeah it's been covered in other videos that running on 93 octane juices the engine up pretty significantly, getting mid to low 5s in 0-60. 87 octane is a noticeable difference in power.
avec votre appareil photo hello I am from France and I also own a ranger raptor. how much does the intake kit and the intercooler cost and if shipping to France is possible? THANKS

@@daviddunlap5602 Please explain.... manufacturers will look for any excuse to nullify warranty with mods. I have RR on order and would like to modify (a little) but do not want to void warranty. Thank you for any additional info.
@@brantonw9219 According to the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty simply due to an aftermarket part existing on the vehicle unless they can prove the part caused or contributed to the failure. So, if you put on an air intake and you have problems with, for example, the water pump, they can't deny your warranty claim as the water pump is not directly affected by an air intake. However, if something went wrong with your intake manifold or the MAF sensor and they can link your air intake to that, then they could deny that claim, but even then this does not void your entire warranty. So, if the infotainment system stopped working you could still get that fixed under warranty. Hope that was helpful.
I can't believe process west is so absurdly priced on their intake and they don't even include the crossover tube. They want $1800 for intake and crossover tube i mean come on let's be real here. I'll wait. Afe already has full intake with crossover tube and hot/cold piping for less than their intake alone....
These mods would have 100% given performance gains…. Mine is full of them. Also with the tune I’ve got, full exhaust system I am pushing 485hp at the wheels 😮

Hey how did Inlet air temps change with the new metal airbox? They must have gone up since that metal box isnt insulated and sitting next to that v6? Would you say an abs airbox would be better?

I think it turned out great! Good job…
Thank you!
What octane rating did you have for the 0-60 test? Ive seen 93 get this truck in the mid/low 5s, and low 6s with 87. Pretty crazy pump gas difference.
Looked like a slow launch to me tbh.

Also does the stage 2 price include the intercooler piping? The red anodized pipes or color or choice or is that an additional charge?
The piping is additional for the stage 2, but you have a choice of red or black
