Elmore was injured in a scrimmage, allegedly by one of his teammates who wanted the starting spot and got it. The guy also played lacrosse and started on defense as a freshman before falling out with the lacrosse coaches, mostly Beardmore. He then transferred to Hofstra and played lacrosse there.
