Hello and welcome to Pixar Profiles! This video is a character analysis of the Toy Story character Bo Peep, focusing on how she was developed over the course of the series.

This video is great. A lot a people really hate #4 just because woody left buzz. First off woody wasn't being played with by bonnie, and second woody was going to go back, but buzz told him it was okay! Toy story 4 is great and makes perfect sense. Please do more toy story and Pixar characters!

hey, just wanted to tell you that i loved this video so, so much -wish i could give more than just one like. i think bo is a fascinating character with a lot to be analyzed still (im especially intrigued by the identity conflict between a lamp decoration and a toy, whatever that was like for her -especially when she wasnt being played with -along with probably a similar situation to woody's jealousy of buzz when thinking how being made of porcelain instead of something like plastic affected bo's chances of being played with). this profile helped me figure out things i hadnt noticed yet, which make me value toy story 4's script even more -how, for example, what used to be a simple love interest became woody's narrative foil in a way comparable to his relationship with buzz in the first movie. im currently writing a (pretty lengthy) fanfic exploring their romantic relationship and the importance of their individual past experiences with kids on their current outlooks, how woody adapts to being a lost toy and how bo adapts to having him around again, and -once more -i cant stop thanking you for giving me a lot of really interesting material to keep working on. im looking forward to the next pixar profile!
Thank you! I'm glad this video was useful for you! Bo choosing to no longer be lamp decoration certainly was a major turning point for her. It's sort of similar to the choice Woody made in Toy Story 2, where he had to decide if he should remain Andy's toy or be put on display forever instead. It definitely seemed like Bo was a new person. I always thought that her dress and hat were porcelain too; part of her that couldn't be detached, so when she was introduced in Toy Story 4, I had a real mental debate about whether or not she was the same Bo we knew from the first movies. She really does look and act quite different.
