I saw Daughter of the Forest on your shelves and I highly recommend it if you haven’t read it yet. That and Warbreaker are the two books that resparked my love of reading like 2 and a half years ago

Absolutely! I actually just took some footage of going around to little free libraries! The only place I don’t show where I donate is my friends of the library because I happen to be a librarian at this library and it’s just for privacy purposes! Thank you for watching 🥰

@@sydrichey6600 Ohh sorry! I’m not sure how all states are, I live in California, but the majority of library systems here have a Friends of the Library and they’ll take donations! Sometimes those donations go into the physical library collections and other times they sell them at their bookstores or library book sales and that money goes back into the library for programs and such. Usually you can call the library directly and ask them about their donation policies. A lot of times they just ask that it’s from the last 10 years, in decent condition, and no more than 3 bags worth!

@stephaniebookish yea thats similar to the ones in florida where they have a gift center where it is all of the books they have given but in surplus so like multiple of one that they give off the least saveable and then keep the one they can fix up

Nooooo I have Noor but need to read it and I love Nnedi Okorafor 😢 yes great Gatsby is the worse classic 😂 so the retelling couldn’t even improve the story… interesting.

I still say give it a chance! I’m so hit or miss with scifi! I was just so sad because I had read remote control right before and loved it. Haha yeah that retelling was also pitched me as a ghost story but it’s not quite that!
