Thank you for your kind words! 🙏🏻 It really warms! I’m still learning this format but I really enjoy it so I’m glad to hear that other people appreciate it as well 😊
@SkerryVibe Excellent! I have an iPhone 15 Pro. I thought that it would only work with Apple-made USB-C cables. This is exciting. I'm looking forward to trying your method.
Can you show a vid how you got the koala(phone) connected to opx and how you loop sampled in a sequence... ive been trying to figure how you got it to work through usb instead its charging my phone 😆 thanks been watching some of your vids..
Do you have an iPhone with lightening connector or usb-c? Might not work like this with lightening… haven’t tried that, I have an iPad with lightening that I can test it on. I’ll make a setup video shortly
I was using my android phone samsung s24 ultra usb c but I also have an iPad 12.9 usbc haven't tried with ipad.... only worked for me was audio in... and didn't know how to record sequence like you did in this video... thanks for replying
@@lseven79 don’t know how it works on android, do you mean that you get audio into koala from XY? If you get audio one way it should be able to do it both ways…
Ha ha, no not really, it’s more like Koala becomes an extra plugin integrated into the XY, midi and audio works great in and out. So there’s lots of great uses that makes the XY even more powerful. This is just a basic example. We still have all the synths and all the great stuff that’s packed into the XY. It’s just an amazing combo 😊
Damn, realized there’s a whole bunch of things I’ve gotta explore in Koala…
Yeah it's an excellent app
Thank you for sharing. This is what I was looking for! Amazing content. Happy owner of OP-XY. Keep it up!!
Cool video, great demo!
Thanks!
May your channel continue to grow as you been putting out great content! Best wishes!

This is the combo we need! Can you share your settings for both? Have you ever tried using Koala as the slave?
I can make a setup video, Koala is the slave in this video, works great, syncs to the XYs tempo and loops adjust if stretch is enabled.
Love this! Are you using an iPhone, or is that something else?
It’s an iPhone connected with USB-C, works really great, don’t know how it will work on android though

I have everything you have apart from the light pad. Am I still good to go? 😅
Yeah you don’t need the lightpad
@ thanks man. Yeah I watched more of your video then realised I can just tap Koala. I like this workflow. Thanks for the content. I’ve subbed! 🙂
@ you can also sequence koala with the keys on the op-xy

Yeah I have same issue with lightning. So annoying as it works just fine on the opz. Guess i'll have to upgrade my phone..

@@Katmat87 if it worked on op-z that should give us hope that they can make it work on the XY as well

So basically you use it as a +2000$ controller for your 15$ phone app?
