took me like a week to beat lol I remember I had a mouse with the ball whatever they were called, ones with no sensor? I remember it had different sensitivity in every direction lmao
@@normalindividual4243 Well, the sensors were inside, but ya, they had mechanical parts and needed to be cleaned. Even then, tho, the friction surfaces would "polish" over time and they required cleaning more an more often as they got older and eventually stopped working consistently. When LED mice came out, I got one as soon as they were reasonable enough. My first one was $50 and I used it until the rubberized coating started to "melt" and the mouse would stick to your hand, lol.
I remember this mission, it was hard, I had to play it with a trial and error approach and memorize where the enemy is...eventually i became good enough and non of the team was killed, if they all live you get a medal...
The trouble with this level is, not only does the AI have aimbot accuracy, but the kar98 bolt animation cycles almost twice as fast as the Springfield; so they can get two shots off for your one. If they spot you first, or if you miss, you're screwed. It's basically a memory test - die and retry.
Dang, I don't remember guys hiding in cabinets, but I haven't played this in a LONG time. I didn't do well in MOH sniper levels, so I would tend to just try to get through and forget about the bad experience, lol.
...i played this mission mamy years ago.....and remember one fracking thing that was always when i restarted this level......every time my botbuddies were unarmed (not like in this video where they can take care of themselfs)...and their healt level were frigging low.... Second thing....i didnt know you could enter the buldings to clear them....always stayed on street...
For years afterwards I kept thinking, why can't games get interior occlusion right during rain. Even the SDK editor could do it. The only things I didn't like about this game was inability to go prone (though enemies sure could), AI 'support' hugging you like flies, and the tap dance officers made while they sliced up your health. I can't help thinking that the dev that thought that up kicks his dog just because.
Got me many memories back then i was 10 yr old and i was trying to run from snipers cause i didn't know where are located but i had badluck cause they were scripted to won't miss.... and i got killed thousand of times no matter where i was hidding.
I died so many times I literally memorized all the snipers' position...lol good old day when game was actually challenging
Still after many years of playing i forgot where they were.
Same. I literally have to get shot in order to see those gun flashes
@@fwp2487 I like to play this mission every now and then to see if I still remember where they hide.
@@fwp2487 hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhujbbn bý
@@fwp2487 iii..
This level is the Dark Souls of all MOHAA levels.
This f*cking mission almost broke me
As a young lad i never made it past this mission

the hardest mission in this game imo,
The whole place is crawling with sniper what do you expect
I got so frustrated with this mission back then that I'm not ashamed to confess that I had to activate godmode in the console in order to get past it.
Pretty fun level to play it a pain keeping the soldiers alive with all the enemy snipers
The music in this mission always haunted me in my childhood , it's creepy
My brother and I spent a long time dealing with this mission. Finally, finally got past it.
I watched my dad demolish this level. Golden memories.

This and the car race in Mafia.
Two mission, that almost ruined great games
Just put the car race on very easy mode lol. Was the dumbest mission in Mafia tho.
@@amerikhan8507 The easy mode was added in later versions of Mafia. The first Version had only the hard mode.
You need to add RC helicopter in GTA Vice City.
After passing this on HARD with all squad memebers alive You can also unlock some hide and seek mode with bazooka medic ;)
And the medic gets confused when you jump out of a building and loses your trail.

You can open the gate with bazooka
It took me months to understand this at the time lol
I miss this old classic game. Sadly I only had it medal of honor for Playstation at the time
It's funny how this ancient game does with folliage something modern games fail to do - make it hard to see through without being non-transparrent.

if they remake allied assault and fix or improve both this level and the bridge, I will be so happy.

D-day one is best for me, most action, good difficuly and nice map design.
d-day 4 sure
Cleaning the inside of the bunker (after the assault on the beach). The sound design inside the bunker was amazing.
@@strahinjam.6496 wasn't D Day supposed to be longer?
This was one of the toughest missions....
I remember this level to be the one to be really beaten up, lest to mention the technicians I was supposed to save. Worse than Omaha, imho.
Это пластейшн 2?
почему когда томпсон выбираешь он дёргается?)
I think the game is trying to convey that the Thompson is "heavy" and takes longer to maneuver.
I think you skipped the last part of mission 4
The single most terrible mission I played when I was a kid. Then when I played it again after I grew up it wasn't that bad but still challenging.
👍👍👍
I hated this mission when I was a kid
I hope we can play at mobile phone..i love this game
Явно малко си я играл играта :)))))
