Jackie, there is a secret location in chapter 2 in caves that allows you to enter a secret area with a Malduga-like boss (from Zelda BOTW), similar to the first chapter's waterfall secret boss. The same goes for chapters 3, 4, and 5. When you finish them all, you will have a new quest that allows you to meet someone... something like a secret ending. You can easily find all secret locations on TH-cam. I suggest you do it after you finish each chapter. You won't regret it. Fight is your reward.
I just hit chapter 5 today. Good lord it was a struggle but I made it 😂 2 more to go. This game has been amazing and it's getting better with each chapter.
U should def go back to chap 1 and get the awaken wine worm from black wind King arena. Then get the one in the area where u fought the rat prince, then u can upgrade ur gourd with the monkey in chap 1. Also, spend more sparks on the stances that way u can unlock more charges.
When you are using red tides, there is a bar in corner which gets filled up, after it fills up, you should press both dodge and heavy attack button together to do a much more powerful heavy attack (that heavy attack will be based on the direction in which you will dodge so first check it on normal enemies and then understand how to use it) you will also get other transformations in game so you should first learn their moves and read and see their abilities to use every single at full potential. Also the place where you defeated that big rat, there is a wall which can be broken by wandering wight spirit, you will get a special item which can be used on waterfalls ( one in chapter 1 and other in chapter 2) for secret areas (the gamr supposed that rat would break the wall but that hardly happens
I think you can try using the spirit "Wandering Wight" to hit the wall in the "First Prince of the Flowing Sands" battle scene. You'll get a key item. And this game is different from the "Souls-like" games, you can try to equip "Curios" and get "Sparks" to unlock "Staff Stances". Staff Stances" for a better gameplay experience. "Drinks" can be selected from the Shrine to "Brew". You can switch to other brews, such as the "Lambbrew" you got earlier. It may not be equipped yet, and is still in your backpack, just like "Curios". Of course, you can also teleport to the first chapter to find "Shen Monkey", which can upgrade your "Drinks" and "Gourds". I hope you enjoy the game and have a better experience.🥰

But u can change ur stance for different occasions and playstyles . i would pick a stance that works for u and upgrade it to make it more powerful. it will help u. Also all the enemies u fight are practice for the final bosses for each area. If u run pass all of em u will struggle with the bosses lol js Thiis game is essentially a boss rush style game. And these early (easy) bosses aint nothing compared to how intense these bosses get. Ur gonna really have to " lock in" to be able to strategize an beat the more difficult ones . Trust me they get frustrating lol use ur staff spin for archers?
There something I need to tell you about Black Myth Wukong. You will almost never understand the lore 100% because it is a sequel of a novel and the game don't explain clearly the lore of it. So your best choice is to watch Wukong lore youtubers, i recommend TH-camr "Williamsweeb". But the best Wukong lore videos is from youtubers "Phê Game" and "W2W Movie", however all of Phê Game's and W2W's videos are in Vietnamese and there is no English subtitles.
