You just need to learn how to glance at the HUD from time to time to see when it's ready.

You came from the wrong direction to the Stone Vanguard fight. You're meant to come from the right after exploring that area there. If you travel back to the shine where you fight the father and son rat duo, instead of following the path to the left, head to the right of the areana and head past an old bridge. There's a whole few areas there to explore with npcs and upgrades.
Dont worry man, youre not going to die. That Spirit you just scooped up replenished your gourd. Look at your gourd LOOK AT YOUR GOURD ... aaaaand you dead
I don’t know why you entered the stone vanguard fight that way? Collect the 6 Buddha eyes in the Rockrest Flats enter this fight from there, there’s a rock near the entrance, the eyes you collected awaken this rock it’s another boss, he kills the stone vanguard, dodge this guys attacks stay behind him, he’s easier to kill!!
The only way I figured out how to dodge the kick was as soon as I saw him shimmy I ran as far as a could and hoped I was out of range. Worked like maybe 60% of the time
Wind tamer, cloud strike, and heavy attacks are all that you need for Yellow Wind Sage. Pluck of Many uses too much mana and I feel like it isn't that worth it until late game.
Did you go to that dog creature that helps make medicine for you? Get some that increase your magic meter, sometimes that last Freeze is the difference.
If you want some things can make it easy don't want it patched but it's kinda lore accurate so if they find it I hope they keep or intended it to be in game
You even missed the Black Loong! The most difficult boss in this game imo ! I died like 50 times in Black Loong , and tried about 10x with this final boss yellow wind sage until I killed him
I was also struggling to get to the check point near the stone vanguard but I found out by accident that if you sneak to the right instead of left, you'll get to a check point there without triggering the boss fight.
Idk about you man, but this boss was perhaps the EASIEST boss in the game. After 5 hours I was able to figure out his attack moves and beat him very effortlessly.
heavy attack long animation because that's stance deal massive damage, need something buy time for us to use on boss like Immobilize, or you can try Thrust Stance, it's fast and safe
the act2 is too deep. we got the ear but everyone including Lingji only mention the good part. read the yaoguai log and find the trues. the rat may not be that evil and lingji may not be kind as seeing.
By the time you read that she realize how to actually play literally don’t ever use your focus points or any of your relics and your biggest damage is with your focus points

Bro every thing he saying is so valid the tracking can be all over the place one time I charge a heavy attack with 3 enemies all bunched up and instead of hitting any of the enemies he slams the staff in the middle of all of them missing every enemy being in perfect range to hit any of them the healing is hit or miss taking his sweet ass time and the whole any hit can stagger your attack string can’t dodge can’t move until the enemy is done spamming attacks the whole can’t move until the attack jump or roll animation is finished the pauses in between the sprint dodge jump is weird it’s like momentum doesn’t exist and the list goes on I like the game but I hate the game at times like when immobilize gets nullified if you time it exactly at the hit or doesn’t come out at all but still has to cooldown I still don’t understand why that happens getting stuck on the edges of the map so sorry but there’s so much more I like the game but like every game it has its issues I know no game is perfect but I’m pretty sure every thing I mentioned is intentional

Once you learn a Boss' attack patterns, area of effect & timing i guarantee you that Heavy Attacks ARE NOT in any way stupid AT ALL !!! Almost you need to be wat more aggressive and stop dodging when you don't have to. It eats up stamina unnecessarily and can leave you open to bosses that can attack faster !

When youre using cloud step, it gives you a chance to relax, use that moment to heal up while the enemy is focused on the clone, then when you feel like youre ready then sneak attack.
you are not utilizing your spell at all, and the heavy attack mechanic is not that hard to read lol, seeing you get your ass kicked by these bosses is so funny. and also, gitgud buddy , haha

Bro. I'm fighting the bear king, and I think from the previous boss fight as well, I think the dev is deliberately lag our input, so we cannot move as fast. This game sucks to be honest.
The only battle I felt it was unfair was against Zhu Baije in the mud pit. And that was just because movements were somewhat restricted, shortening the window to dodge by a considerable amount. But even then I realize that it was always my fault for failing a fight.
Not very much tough though. Keep on hitting his legs and keep dodging. Avoid the tornados as much as possible. Can be beaten easily even without Wind tamer. Atleast I think this boss is easier than Tiger Vanguard.

Tried for 4 hours… then I went back and got the wind tamer and this fight was a walk in the park after

When you stagger the enemy with the full light combo follow up right away with a 3 level focus heavy. Or immobilize then do it. It wrecks.

The fight at 15-16 minutes is easy but if he lands a hit you get ledged off the side of the map it happened to me twice lmao

You need to be doing a full combo with your light attack more, you will stagger enemies and gain more focus.

The staff has different combos, notice the little lights in the bottom right corner? U can do different combos

Yeah you need to understand the heavy attack using focus points, not the charging heavy attack which takes too long.

I hate how the weakest most tiniest enemy can stagger you with a trip palm / falling smack /lazy dap hand push literally stops you mid combo

i got so lucky i beat all bosses in chapter to in 3-4 tries except the tiger which took me like 30-40 tries xD
I'm averaging an hour per boss. Yellow wind sage has racked up 2 hours but the Tiger was beat in half hr

Nope... It's not! The further you in light combo, the harder to stop or dodge. Timing is key. Not spamming attack
