Welcome to panama. I love this place. Special place in my heart. Not the best place to live in per se as the city is very poorly designed, but it’s a business City and has a lot of movement. I’m ready to get back soon.
Good timing, I'll be in Panama City next weekend to check out the Panama Canal and refresh my visa back into Mexico. Cool to see what to expect at the moment.
Thanks for posting. I hope you post more. I am so lost bc I want to move to Panama soon soon. I am 22 and I don’t want to have to retire to move. I want to just go! It’s my dream.
Welcome to Panama. If you stay here long enough it becomes easier to deal with the weather and try to move around to see new places and meet new people. You may get lucky and find a lady, believe me, I have been there, we men need companionship. There are a lot of Panamanians that speak English pretty well.
What’s good Sly! I’m from Phoenix and fell in love with Panamá City. Currently living here and even go to that smartfit. Let me know if you have any questions!
I just watched your video. I got to Panamá last night. Last night I did Subway and went to the grocery store. I got American money and local money back as change. Thanks for the restaurant advice. I am walking there today and the ocean.
Hello Sly .. Good job I’m enjoying your Chanel. Lots of great tips that I just know are going to. One in super handy for my visit in May! Any how I just wanted to wish you happy times and keep up the excellent work.
Haven't been to Panama (I live in Costa Rica) for at least 10 years (before the metro). I need to go back. I still know some people there. Always liked it but you're right, the humidity takes some adjustment. I always liked the Riba Smith supermarkets.
@@slyslife It's a lot lower than Panama, but still can be high, especially on the coasts. I live in Alajuela Province about 12 miles north of San Jose at an altitude of about 3,000 feet in the Central Valley and right now it's 50%. During the day time it can be in the 70s though. We're just starting the dry season but the rainy season keeps dragging on. If you come here, I don't recommend staying in San Jose, but maybe go to Cartago where the Basilica de Los Angeles is (the home of La Negrita, the patron saint -- she looks like you :)) Is there another country in Latin America with a black patron saint? It's also close to Irazu Volcano. Plus go to the Caribbean where the people speak a kind of patois English because they were brought to the country to work on building the railroad and the food is more Jamaican style. Go out to Guanacaste Province for a dryer climate. It was originally part of Nicaragua and the people have a Nicaraguan accent. There's a beach there called Playa Conchal that has shells instead of sand on the beach. And there's Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific that's a nature preserve and has tons of howler monkeys and mono titi monkeys (don't remember what that is in English).
6:41 that soup might actually be couple days old, you see the bubbles forming on the bottom left corner, usually when the bubbles are cluster together, it may be low levels of bacteria, it's still edible, just be mindful next time.
