Inconsistent sizing is THE red flag that these items are poorly made in a facility that doesn’t cultivate or compensate for craftsmanship. I can’t even imagine all the returns they have to process. I’m happy the red set worked out at least because you deserved a win!
Inconsistency with clothing is one of my pet peeves because they could easily make it better by cutting the clothing in smaller batches instead of stacking a bunch of pieces of fabric and having the blade shift as it cuts down so each piece in that stack will fit slightly different. Just do more cuts on smaller piles. With the amount of profit these brands are making, it would be so easy. But they choose more profit over the actual quality of the product and it’s so frustrating
The issue she had its the same we women with fat ass but small waist get with every type of pants which is not waisted elastic 😭 i never get jeans because i have the problem she got with the cargo one but sweatpants???never a problem😹😹
$73 dollars for a crop tee is horrific. I honestly cannot think of a situation where I would spend that much on a single t-shirt and not feel guilty every time I wore it
It’s fine to pay that for a completely ethically run company where all the workers earn a living wage. In fact, $73 would be reasonable in that case. The issue is that they’re outsourcing production to factories that exploit their workers - all so Kylie and her hedge fund managers can make several million dollars each
Agreed! I think it's bc she's now making her own clothes and she understands all of the hardwork involved in ethically made clothes. It's not fair that she works hard to make these products for us while A-list celebrities take shortcuts.
My mom worked in a dress factory decades ago. When they had a quota, supervisors would push them to sew in whatever tag they needed to meet the quota to whatever size they made. If the garments are being made in less than stellar accomodations, they might just be grabbing a tag and sewing it in.
I was thinking, the Quality Control at the factory handling the fleece items seems worlds better, ensuring the labels matched the items. The items that didn't fit were all made in another country, another factory, and clearly have different QC practices. Your quota comment makes a lot of sense, that they are still actually a size that they sell, just with the wrong tag, so it's just XLs and other sizes being labeled as smalls as opposed to them just making wildly differently sized smalls. Any way you slice it it's a sign of poor management at best and unethical worker conditions at worst.
This is so true. This is just a sign of worker abuse and unreal quota. I literally got fired for not meeting unrealistic quotas. Everyone in that favotory were miserable and sick and worked even breathing in fumes of burning oil from machines bc they can't stop or they wont meet the quota fuck the textile industry. I buy now only second hand. Let them all shitty brands like shien and even big brands end up there so that we can buy them as what they are actually worth 7-12$ max
I feel like the weirdest thing is that the actual measurement of those pants doesn't line up with ANY of the sizes on the chart, so it's not even just a matter of the wrong tags being sewn in, the garment itself isn't the correct size! That's just wild to me😳
I’m from Mexico and my mom grew up working in the clothing manufacturing industry. She recently told me that when she was 14 she had worked a 12 hour day and was really looking fwd to going home when the “managers” told her she couldn’t go home because they were going to pull an all nighter to meet the quotas. She tried to refuse and mentioned how she was so sleepy and didn’t think she could do it so THEY DRUGGED HER!!!. I was so sad for my mom when she told me this story and my heart broke. I couldn’t believe that they drugged a 14 year old child after working her for 12 hours straight just too meet these companies’ quotas. She says that once she was drugged she was so scared to have the needles go thru her fingers because she didn’t feel in control of her body, she had the jitters and all sorts of other bad things. And I’m pretty sure my mom was barely making enough money to buy food, nothing extra. (And I’m also sure it was a very basic diet like eating rice and beans most of the time) These companies truly need to be held accountable because to this day my aunt still works in this industry and she makes $3 a shirt MAX, often less. And when I’ve gone into stores like Macys I can’t find a t shirt for less than $45. So what happens to the other $42?! But to see the amount of work and time my aunt puts into making these clothes for that much money is truly sad. Plus, some companies refuse to pay her if she doesn’t finish the quota on time, they take all the clothes that are already made but don’t pay her or if they are “nice” they only pay her half the money. My aunt gets no sick days so if she gets sick or has a family energy that slows her down she already knows she’s not getting paid for the work she has already done. Thank you for all that you promote Mia! 🫶🏽
Horrible conditions and I'm so glad you can share their experiences with us! Stories like theirs are so important. I really hope things do change, people aren't meant to work like machines. It really makes me mad that they steal so much of her time and money!
girl did you ever consider your aunt probably made what these youtubers are reviewing? shouldn't they stop buying it altogether and save your aunt some pain?
Seriously I feel like the thorough walk through of even the size discrepancies it’s like, KYLIE, TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY AND DO BETTER!! She has the finances to do so. Mia out here doing the lords work lol
Further, knowing how most returns get destroyed or placed in landfills, it is SO refreshing to see you donate the products you don’t like instead of returning them! When influencers consistently do brand hauls for the content just to return a bunch of it, it is severely hurting the environment! Thank you for being better!!
Please keep holding your grudge, Mia! The Kar-Jenners slap their name on anything and don't care about their fans, they need to be called out way more!
Don’t care about their fans? How about those that work for them that are exposed to terrible conditions and take abuse only to be paid the least amount while Kylie makes the most from doing next to nothing in comparison?
Hi Mia ! I work on photoshoots, and there’s a reason why all clothes on the pictures look like a perfect fit ; we have professionnal seamstresses on set, that adjust the garments to the models exact measurements. Zara does it a lot, and I wouldn’t be surprised that it was the case with the faux leather pieces here.
I knew they pinched the garments and all that to fit the model, but didn't think they'd actually have seamstresses on set. That's kinda insane lol. Imagine if they'd just make good clothes, wouldn't have to do all that to sell them.
When the bikini line came out, I remember someone here in the comment section say Kylie probably made the bikini badly on purpose, so she'd then launch a new clothing line for a high price and everyone would get hyped for it. That person was spot on!
I don't get it? Why would people buy anything from someone that previously released shitty clothes? Genuinely trying to think from that perspective and I don't understand the strategy 🤔
KHY should be ashamed tbh. Of course it's not ethnically made, especially not with those materials. They just care about money. Thank you for your review, because it was fun to watch!
@@nadiashami7468absolutely NONE! I don’t watch or read anything with or about them! I watched when they first came out and they were just as bad then… actually they’ve gotten worse! Using a medication to lose weight that people need to SURVIVE.
Its the worst of both worlds: a vanity project for an already famous young woman so she feels important, and a moneymaking project for the people she lent her name to who dont care at all about fashion or sustainability or average people etc. Idk how you can be someone who walks in the world of fashion with the likes of f-ing guopei etc and put this out and not be embarrassed. These people truly have no passion I guess.
You mean every Kardashian/Jenner always scam their fans plus it's never their design they're always stealing someone else's design, they don't have no talent to do these type of work but only work on how to steal people's money and design
From Vietnam here, my mum works in textiles so it's really baffling to see how expensive the pieces that were made in VIetnam are, even more so when considering how cheap the labour costs here in the industry
KHY is made in China… the other black crop top Mia held up was made in Vietnam. I agree with your point; just didn’t want people to think KHY was made in Vietnam
Mia, your reviews have come so far! I just want to say that it feels like your always have OUR backs. Gone are the days when you struggled to say a bad word about a brand because ‘being nice’ was your guiding value. Now you hold big brands accountable for their ethics, sustainability, quality and transparency. We love you 💛
PLEASE keep doing the brand sustainability/ ethics/ material/ affordability info!!! Absolutely love it and really helps decide if a brand is worth while or not 😊😊😊😊 love your work Mia ❤
I really love how you don’t lie about brands like this! I could never afford a brand like that but I’m glad you give honest reviews to people who want to get them!
Other content creators may have reviewed Kye.. but Mia, you are the one I trust the most to review products/companies. You do your research, your thorough and detailed in your explanations, you consider ethics and sustainability, and there's always a chance that Mama Maples will appear😄 ❤
Wow, Mia went from doing wild hauls from wish to reviewing higher end brands, and not only does she look into the quality of the pieces, she focuses on the sustainability and ethics of the brand as a whole. QUEEN❤
Since you’re the sweatpants GIRL, I think it would be fun to see you do a ranking of sweatpants sets cause it seems like everyyyy brand is doing them. Like comparing Skims, H&M, Walmart, Aritzia, Abercrombie, Fashion Nova, Wish, Old Navy, Lululemon, Aerie, Victoria Secret, etc. and then just rate them 1-10 depending on fit, comfy, quality, value, etc!!!!!! 👀
That's a great idea, I really want a matching set but I want it to be worth the money and good quality fabric etc, I'd love to see her rank some sets 🥹🥹
Who else remembers when Mia would go outside the room to change and then walk back into the room and struggle to get a full body shot? Now she has stylish shoes, a curtain to change behind, AND a mini stool to stand on 👏👏❤
I love it when Mia gets MAD!!! --and for good reason. The prices are insane, the fabrics are synthetic not silk and chiffon! Ugh. I'm so proud of you for making this video and for calling manufacturers out!! PS: Sending love to Mama Maples too!!
I haven't watched Mia's content since I was in middle school. Now going into post secondary, it's so comforting to be back and still seeing Mia create content. So excited seeing how much she's grown as a creator!!
I wouldn't spend one dime to support Kardashian/Jenner family. It is utterly ridiculous to charge $73 for a crop t shirt. They charge this amount because they can and they know people will spend this amount just for their name. Ridiculous!
I cannot thank you enough about your honesty pertaining to these brands, especially the Jenner/Kardashian crowd, plus other celebrity brands. So many people are afraid to speak the truth about brands out of fear of backlash. You are an amazing human, and I am so grateful for all of your feedback on everything you’ve tried. It has saved me a ton of money from spending on myself and my daughters. And…. Your videos have inspired my oldest daughter to turn to Teuta Matoshi for her wedding dress 🥰 Keep up the incredible work Mia!
The reason the sizing was off for items in the second collection is because that collection was a "collaboration" with Entire Studios - a brand that already exists and has been extremely popular within the fashion crowd. Kylie's collab with them was basically them giving her their designs and letting her produce her version at a fast fashion price and quality level, and add her label. Entire Studios is unisex and their small is a men's small, their medium is a men's medium, etc. I suspect no one on Kylie's team caught that detail, that they needed to adjust the size labels to fit their own brand's size chart.
Imagine producing an entire line of clothes in great quantities and never doing size/fit checks on actual people during the process, though. Like, collaboration/pre existing designs or not...I'm speechless.
Wow, that's trashy levels of no Fs given about what she puts out. Worse than embarrassing, but the Karjenners don't seem to have a concept of that feeling
So I went to check out their size chart, because as a plus sized woman, most things are not what they should be. For me, on the plus end, I usually wear a 2x or 3x depending on measurements. KHY's 4x is about 10 inches too small for me, so nothing they make would fit me. I would say that their sizing is just waaaaaaay off because they didn't have enough difference in between sizes. So their XXS probably should be a small and then skew the rest of the sizes up to actually match what they should be. A lot of brands do this to pretend like they're size-inclusive without actually being size-inclusive.
@@carnifaxx i just noted this in my own comment (though @ksicheneder, you and i have quite different experiences while shopping other brands, it seems! let me know where you shop, i'm tired of being too big for items when khy's XL are my exact measurements) but it looks like they skipped a true XL (the 5" gap you noticed) and went right for 1X, labeling it XL instead. a lot of people think those two sizes are the same, but they aren't, and that's the discrepancy here!
@@Narfignugan I'm not suggesting that xl or L or whatever particular size is missing (I actually don't even see anything in that sizing, as I'm not used to measure in inches)... I just noticed the gap and found it weird.
@@Narfignugan considering where I buy plus size clothing, I use mostly thrifting or bonprix (that's originally a German shop, I think, I'm not sure if it's available for people outside EU... and it's also not a luxury brand :D ). I suppose this comment may get deleted, it happened before when I mentioned it, I don't know why.
@@carnifaxx i know you weren't saying that, i was adding that information for you! i am saying that size is, genuinely, missing. that 5' gap is supposed to be covered by the XL size, and is instead skipped over for their XL size to be equivalent to a 1X. i said i noted it in my comment already, so it was an observation i already made, separate from reading your comment! i just thought you'd like to know that range missing is for that reason. everything else seems fairly consistent with... how do i say this? more generous? sizing in the US. however, most brands i run into lean far smaller, which is why i was asking @ksicheneder where they shop, as our experiences in sizing seems to differ a lot! (i am, for instance, a 1X in certain target clothes, but shopping online often sets me in the 3XL range, and it's near impossible to sense which listings will be in which size ranges)
Mama Maples is such an attractive person through and through. the way she carries herself, her demeanor, her outlook on things, so inspiring. like what a beautiful person yk
You def went easy on her - this is SO insanely embarrassing for someone who has all the resources in the world as well as family who is successful in this industry already. So happy I saw this before buying!
I am from Brazil and I randomly ended up in your channel and I already like you just for the speech about the environment and work ethics concerns. I totally agree with you and we need more influencers like you. An immediate “like” for you just after 4 minutes of video 👍🏻
That diamond in the crotch area is called a gusset. It's there to strengthen the pants (by redistributing the stress that would otherwise fall upon 4 seams being brought together), as well as helping prevent the fabric from bunching weirdly
When Mia releases the sweatpants I’ll be purchasing them. I normally don’t buy influencer merch but I seriously trust that she has our interests in mind and wants to give us great products
Yes! It’ll be my first influencer merch purchase, and honestly I’m so excited for them! I was one of those “ew sweatpants” people for YEARS, until I hit my 30s. Once upon a time, I used to wear jeans even on days I didn’t leave my house..I’d lounge around in JEANS, like a psycho😭 Now my closet is like 95% comfy clothes only. I can’t wait to see what Mia comes up with, as a fellow comfy lover!
I studied sustainability as my degree at uni and I’m going into a career in it and I think it’s so important and inspiring that you use your platform to spread the message. You rock Mia!
I’m actually really happy you’re taking a stronger stand on the ethics of the brands you review. Ngl I was a bit wary of your channel before when it was just a bunch of hauls without much focus on the ethics but you’ve really grown in that department! Thank you for your transparency
the diamond in the crotch of the red sweatpants is a gusset - it makes it fit but gives ease for moving legs, - it lets you have a slimmer fit when standing but able to use for squat/kick/bend
I have no interest in buying KHY I will just watch literally anything Mia Maples at this point. Also I love the way you oh so nicely rip these brands apart 😂. You don’t miss a thing 👏🏼
They're clearly using various manufacturers and not bothering to keep any sort of consistency, which says everything we need to know about this brand. Ugh. Your mom is just such a gem, oh my god 😂❤
Mia, as a Canadian who lives in one of our snow places, you're also qualified to judge the puffer coats. It's -23 with a windchill of -32 in Winterpeg today, and I hope that you and your loved ones are warmer than I am here, I've got my oven on to stay warm enough. At least it stopped snowing!
We Canadians need real coats. The functional kind, not the kind just for show. It's -38c with chill in Edmonton today. And people still need to go to work.
I am so happy to see Mia make her own range of clothing. The fact that she keeps pushing it back because she wants it to be the best thing ever is what I like to hear ❤️
Mia, it has been so lovely to see your channel continuously promoting thoughtfulness (about fashion, but also life in general). I am so overwhelmed with the world nowadays and it feels good to be reminded that sustainability and equity is possible in these areas. we should never let these brands make us lower our standards! our earth, people, and closets deserve better! 💖💞💝💗💕
I'm 6ft tall so the leather pants are intriguing but the sizing issues really turn me off. The inconsistencies are wild! Thank you for giving a full honest review so we don't waste our money, you are the best 🥺
Honestly 😩 I’m a fashion designer & handmake latex clothing, I feel bad charging £2-500 for an extremely intricate item that can take me days to make, to a customer’s measurements and kylie Jenner is Churning out unoriginal S^*T made in China for half that price and calling it affordable 😂 same with skims and their latex line. It was extremely offensive for her as a latex wearer to be selling latex at that price. (It was basic and boring at best though)
I wish people who had enough money to shop on brands like KHY and Skims would just pay people like you to make better quality, ethical, and custom clothes. Like it would be the same price or maybe even less?? Rich people suck lmao.
No designer "should" do that. They can. But keep in mind, that it's also putting your work at risk, when your unique ideas get stolen. And poorly remade...
@@Bruhnoautographs you can make money if you’re passionate enough and have your own style. I never went to university (I didn’t even go to school 😅) just started sewing when I was a child because it was something i loved. 🥰
Mia, I think we all fall more and more in love with your Mom and your family dynamic every time we see her. She is a actual national treasure and needs to be protected at all cost. Love you guys!
I have worked in fashion manufacturing here in LA for well over 10 years and I can tell you... the mark up on theses types of items can exceed 500%+ profit margins, depending on the type of item... and that's for a small name business at that. I can imagine her mark up is wayyy over that :(
I like how they tried to justify the cheap materials with such a high markup. This video was great. It just baffles my mind that Kylie Jenner and her company can sell polyester for hundreds of dollars
Mia. YOU LOOK SO GOOD WITH THAT SHORT HAIR EVERYTHING YOU TRY ON MAKES YOU LOOK LIKE A MODEL WITH THAT HAIR thanks Mondo for cutting her hair this pretty
Love seeing Mama Maples try on things that were too big on you for reference. :) And thank you for calling companies out on their ethics and sustainability!
I'm nearer your mums age group, and I love that your showing the world of all ages how overly priced and sized wrong these products are. So many youngsters get scammed by paying these "designer" prices, that really are just greedy. Shame on them. Keep up the great work ❤
Just came across your channel and I really loved this video! You actually know whats going on in production which is every important in a review. I am def going to watch other videos from you. and shot out to your mom for helping! makes me think of my mom and I
hi mia! thank you so much for reviewing brands with their sustainability transparency. as someone who lives in a developing countries, it’s a very common occurrence for brands to outsource production to us and most of it is not ethical at all 😬 (e.g underpaid workers, no health or insurance cover, overworking their workers etc)
Hi Mia, thanks for the fun content!! Maybe you could try a couple sustainable brands this year. This way they could get a bit of exposure and they will probably be a lot less expensive than all these celebrity brands...
A business masters student here🙋🏽♀️ i have studied alot to know that they charge these awful prices just for the name not the material nor the way they produce it, yeah material can cost alot but then putting any brand name / very known person name on it makes it more than double the cost
I know it’s not your usual style --you are more of a boho or prairie girl style - but you look phenomenal in the black leather dress !!! Your cute short hair cut makes you look so fancy and great !!! Keep that and get a full refund for the other stuff the sizing is horrid. There are so many companies with way more figure flattering and affordable (truly affordable) pieces that won’t break the bank. Love you and your mom it reminds me of how me and mom were together. I’m a little older than your mom but my mom And I laughed and enjoyed hanging out together every chance we got💕💕Thanks for being so joyful and positive.
I'm a recent subscriber and I have been bingeing your videos. You are the sweetest, most wholesome and generous person I watch. Thanks for being a ray of light for us; particularly needed in these times.
I saw the ad and would never buy it myself but i was soooo interested to see what you had to say Mia and you did not disappoint. The fact that they can put these “labels” out there as money grabs like this is honestly sickening. To a. Not be good materials b. Still be really expensive c. Not have a good fit and d. Not even be the right size????? At the very least even if you buy clothes on shein or other terrible sites you get the size you order. Its revolting and im glad you called them out!
I couldn’t stop thinking about how much this launch looks like fast fashion I would find at the mall in 2012/2013 when I was in middle school. From the amount of synthetic materials to the design of the pieces, this is peak 2013 Tally Weijl Edit: I wrote lunch instead of launch lol
I love your reviews so much! You give as everything we want to know without us having to ask, like having your mom wear the cargo pants, double checking the chart on their website, and then actually measuring them. We appreciate it!!
Also, I believe the crotch diamond is a gusset. It's just extra fabric meant to provide more room if you need it. You sometimes find them in the armpits of really fitted tops to allow the arms to move without compromising the silhouette.
The interactions between you and Mama Maples are just so delightful. And I LOVE how you've been looking into the sustainability of these big name brands, it's so refreshing to hear these kinds of critiques!
You are the only person who deep dives into the ethics etc, of companies and its absolutely wonderful. You are such a dear. Thank you for, well, being you. 😊
Honest request: could your mom make a video about parenting/raising children? I love how you two interact and how naturally your relationship seems. I would love to hear do's and don'ts❤
Mia I would love to see you do a video on warm layering for a Canadian Winter. I have been trying to do more research into warm layers so I can try to be outside a little more in Winter and I would love to see your take on it!
Imagine all the consumers who bought these clothes in their ‘size’ only to have it NOT fit them!! Then I wonder if the return policy is too much of a hassle for them to return, which I assume it would be in a lot of places. Then I wonder how many people paid top dollar for these, just to have the clothes sit in their closet or sell them for half the price cause they’re useless? So sad. Also I love that you’ve been emphasising the fact it’s the rich destroying our planet with their lifestyles and not us bottom feeders.
I LOOOOOVE these videos Mia! I always feel so guilty buying clothes and I feel even worse when they come out awful 😅 these videos make it so easy to just avoid those feelings all together, and it makes it easy to find brands that are ethically made❤
I love that you measured those pants to verify you weren't crazy lol. You should definitely send a message to their customer service people letting them know their sizing is just nuts! I love your review videos so much, and always watch until the end! ❤️
besides some of them being labeled the wrong size, don't forget that it's too common to pin the clothes on models to make them look flattering. Every year I get more convinced that Celeb brands like this survive and even thrive off the sales of review influencers.
Mia, I just want to say you have grown so much over the years and your knowledge of important things and even a little less important stuff like what material things are made out of has grown so much! Im proud of you!
This is my first time ever finding you! You are absolutely precious and your mom is fabulous! Also, she reminds me of my best friends mom ( they're Canadian ) and she ships me Nanaimo Bars every Christmas!!! .... and Ketchup chips!
I love that you talk about the fabrics, probable labor ethics, and sustainability, and directly call out the insane profit margin. Fabric is now #1 on my list of what I filter out before I even look at the design, I'm fed up with wearing sweaty polyester. (Also what was up with the diaper shorts? They look bad on a thin girl and a thick girl, what's the point)
Mia stop it, I literally made a suggestion about including the materials, when you reviewed clothing, in your last video, and here you are including the freaking materials, you are A QUEEN thank you, we don't deserve you

$0.00001 of that $42 goes to paying salaries, $0.001 into utilities and rent and the remaining ~$41.99 goes to the CEO and the shareholders.
I absolutely love her mom. So much kind and glowing energy!
I LOVE that Mia views the brand from an ethical and sustainability point of view! NEVER EVER STOP DOING THIS!!!
Seriously I feel like the thorough walk through of even the size discrepancies it’s like, KYLIE, TAKE ACCOUNTABILITY AND DO BETTER!! She has the finances to do so. Mia out here doing the lords work lol
But doesn’t she review Wish and Temu items, I feel like this is conflicting.
Really appreciate your attention to the ethics and sustainability of every brand!! You rock, Mia!
I was literally just about to comment the same thing!!
Further, knowing how most returns get destroyed or placed in landfills, it is SO refreshing to see you donate the products you don’t like instead of returning them! When influencers consistently do brand hauls for the content just to return a bunch of it, it is severely hurting the environment! Thank you for being better!!
Also the kardie's are pretty size inclusive, I think that's important to mention here too
She needs to stop supporting the Kardashians by buying from them in the first place. 🙄 🇵🇸
Whats sustainability
Huge credit to Mia for reviewing brands FULLY. Fit, price point, sustainability, cost vs. worth. Love you!!!!
Please keep holding your grudge, Mia! The Kar-Jenners slap their name on anything and don't care about their fans, they need to be called out way more!
Agree
THIS
not to mention they support israel
Don’t care about their fans? How about those that work for them that are exposed to terrible conditions and take abuse only to be paid the least amount while Kylie makes the most from doing next to nothing in comparison?
@@krisjoy5069everyone should support Israel.
Thank you for that inside information. That’s a shameful practice, because it does not honestly portray the fit of the clothing.
Also on food adverts they use glue etc so yeah
@@cw5451 Honesty has no place in fashion marketing
I'm so shocked at this 😮
I knew they pinched the garments and all that to fit the model, but didn't think they'd actually have seamstresses on set.
It actually didn’t work, as she didn’t sell out-all of her ‘collections’ are still in stock…
That doesn't make any sense 😂
KHY should be ashamed tbh. Of course it's not ethnically made, especially not with those materials. They just care about money. Thank you for your review, because it was fun to watch!
The kardashians don’t have shame.
@@nadiashami7468absolutely NONE! I don’t watch or read anything with or about them! I watched when they first came out and they were just as bad then… actually they’ve gotten worse! Using a medication to lose weight that people need to SURVIVE.
I dislike them more and more. $200 for a pu dress. Come on.
Momma Maples' laugh could honestly light up an entire planet ❤

I can't believe that shirt is 73$. That's disgusting.
It’s not 73$ it’s $73

I agree with you. I wouldn’t spend this kind of money on this stuff but I find these videos really interesting
I’m glad your mom is ok. I love seeing her in the episodes. Your reviews are so refreshing. Keep fighting for these brands to be ethical and honest.
Other content creators may have reviewed Kye.. but Mia, you are the one I trust the most to review products/companies. You do your research, your thorough and detailed in your explanations, you consider ethics and sustainability, and there's always a chance that Mama Maples will appear😄 ❤
No one can compare to Mamma Maples, I don’t care what channel it is!
Wow, Mia went from doing wild hauls from wish to reviewing higher end brands, and not only does she look into the quality of the pieces, she focuses on the sustainability and ethics of the brand as a whole. QUEEN❤
Your mom is so cute. I love to see a parent so supportive and involved.
“It’s like I’m packing” is one of the funniest things I ever heard mamma maples say💀 it’s exactly something my mom would say to me lmaooo
Those shorts are the most bizarre of the lot! Never seen shorts that make you look like you're packing. ROFL.
Hey, could you please explain to me what that means? I don't know this phrase :)

I would love to see this vid from Mia too!

i am so so happy every time you talk about sustainability! your channel has come such a long way in that regard! way to grow mia!
Who else remembers when Mia would go outside the room to change and then walk back into the room and struggle to get a full body shot? Now she has stylish shoes, a curtain to change behind, AND a mini stool to stand on 👏👏❤
Omg she had to go out of the room to change??? And then walk back in it?? Say it ain’t so

Ridiculous!
Same. It annoys me so much when I see people reviewing their products. Use your brain
Absolutely insane the difference in fit. Wow!!!! Thanks for doing all the leg work in a light hearted and fun way
The reason the sizing was off for items in the second collection is because that collection was a "collaboration" with Entire Studios - a brand that already exists and has been extremely popular within the fashion crowd.
By her measurements though at 34.5, would me a men's medium/ large. So the sizing would still be off
Imagine producing an entire line of clothes in great quantities and never doing size/fit checks on actual people during the process, though.
Like, collaboration/pre existing designs or not...I'm speechless.
oh interesting so those sweat shorts are probably men's.
@@raraavis7782it's the karjenners. what do you expect 😂
There is also one whole size missing completely between L and XL (there is a 4" gap between the end of one range and start of the next range).

That diamond in the crotch area is called a gusset. It's there to strengthen the pants (by redistributing the stress that would otherwise fall upon 4 seams being brought together), as well as helping prevent the fabric from bunching weirdly

You should put your designs on TH-cam with how you make them
No designer "should" do that. They can. But keep in mind, that it's also putting your work at risk, when your unique ideas get stolen. And poorly remade...

hi mia! thank you so much for reviewing brands with their sustainability transparency. as someone who lives in a developing countries, it’s a very common occurrence for brands to outsource production to us and most of it is not ethical at all 😬 (e.g underpaid workers, no health or insurance cover, overworking their workers etc)
Hi Mia, thanks for the fun content!! Maybe you could try a couple sustainable brands this year. This way they could get a bit of exposure and they will probably be a lot less expensive than all these celebrity brands...
Your mum is so cute, I love how she gets involved, so supportive and wholesome

I know it’s not your usual style --you are more of a boho or prairie girl style - but you look phenomenal in the black leather dress !!! Your cute short hair cut makes you look so fancy and great !!! Keep that and get a full refund for the other stuff the sizing is horrid. There are so many companies with way more figure flattering and affordable (truly affordable) pieces that won’t break the bank. Love you and your mom it reminds me of how me and mom were together. I couldn’t stop thinking about how much this launch looks like fast fashion I would find at the mall in 2012/2013 when I was in middle school. From the amount of synthetic materials to the design of the pieces, this is peak 2013 Tally Weijl
