So I’m also someone who knows basically nothing about designer clothing - but that Alexander McQueen jacket is like the one thing that has stuck with me! I’m a sewing & have wanted to recreate that jacket for a long time! Honestly, this video has been super helpful because you’ve reminded me that it exists & also shown some more angles, etc. Time to pull some denim jackets apart!
Alexander McQueen has a very sad, yet successful history. You should read or watch biographies about him. He is the true definition of an artist, he imbues a lot of additional meaning into his work that is lost on simply casual viewing. His death in 2010 was a shockwave.

I really liked the magenta dress but it looked like a bit of a weird fit on her, especially in the boob region. If it can be altered, I think she should keep it. The blue blouse was amazing too and she will probably get more use out of it, but it was a bit boring for a Kardashian piece.
I love how Mia could literally be a super model, and yet she doesn’t even realize how amazingly she pulls off 90% of these clothes. Like that all denim look was an absolute SERVE.

The sheer $895 Mugler bodysuit, while questionable for most occasions, would actually go so well for a Leeloo from The Fifth Element cosplay! It looks a lot like the outfit we see her in the first time and could be really cool (obviously with modification to the under back area and an under-tank top/leggings white or skin tone depending on preference) to see at a convention!

Mia, PLEASE don't take this as a criticism of you in ANY WAY! I absolutely ADORE you and I think you are probably the MOST ethical TH-camr I've ever had the pleasure of watching. That said, this is the first, and only video, I kind of wish you didn't make. Hear me out. I, like you, kept going back and forth on the Kardashian's motivation for doing this. Obviously, they have the right to do whatever they choose. It's just...should they? I could see the aspect of they know their fans would LOVE to own a piece of their personal fashion. Awesome. That said, is it that they are SOOOO out of touch with the rest of the world and how, for so, so many of us, purchasing one of their pieces 'could' be something that we'd have to save up for or go in debt to buy? If it were a good way to recycle/reuse these clothing pieces AND a way to 'hook up' their fans, they 'could' have, and probably SHOULD have charged far less per piece. So, that makes me lean more towards yet another money-making operation for them. Which, like I said, is their prerogative, but, like dang. How much do they need? If they were donating some of the profits, I think it wouldn't come across so gross to me? I admire their girl boss grit and determination and I wish more of us could do what they do! Am I just being jealous? I truly try to be women positive and supportive. I'm usually a 'more power to them' person. This just gives me such ick. I know you likely make a good income, as you should! But it makes me sick to think you paid $8,000 of your hard earned money to them in this way. Their make-up and clothing lines are at least in the realm of what the average person could afford-ish lol. I hope you know, I am not saying ANYTHING about YOU! I understand that this is likely something most of your audience would LOVE. I feel protective of you for some reason haha. Maybe I just need a snack haha. Love you and Momma Maples!!!!

Real silk velvet is gorgeous. If it is a thick pile, unbelievable. I have an antique black silk velvet gown. In the days that a slim me fit into it - absolute luxury. Had to stop myself from rubbing it. A shine that nothing synthetic could match. It isn’t stretchy, a very tailored woven fabric.
