Thank you for the video! I plan to work at F45 after I get out of the military and was able to score an internship with them. I would also love to open my own business once I understand the fitness industry more! You’re video clarified and demonstrated the pro and cons so well! Thank you for spending your valuable time giving us this information!

this was so helpful! I just graduated college and working on getting my personal training license right now! I am using ACE, I was wondering what your CPT license is and any study tips you have! Love your content thank you!

Great video. Personally, I find it unethical to own a big box style gym. In order to build a sustainable profit, you need to sell countless memberships. More memberships than the fire marshal with technically allow to be used at once. Essentially, you're selling gym memberships in hopes that most people won't use them because you wouldn't be able to maintain the maximum building capacity. Private key clubs and PT studios are the way to go 💪

did you go to college and learn everything you know? I'm 17 and have struggled with mental/physical health for a really long time and I'm trying to become a personal trainer for mostly my own health at the moment. Also, what kind of equipment/ clothing brands would you recommend for a starting physical trainer?

This video helped me so much! Do you think it is a necessity to have a degree pertaining to fitness or would you recommend just getting a certification?
    Love your content ❤️

Being a master of your craft always has its advantages. You need to decide if it is worth the student debt while it is very unlikely it will make you any more money. A degree in physical therapy, working for a major sports orthopedic center.. different story. But the extra letters next to your name really don't make any type of difference.

And yes I agree, Julia is one of the best fitness youtubers. This is where you go to submerge yourself in the world of PT instead of someone posting booty workouts for a bunch of thirsty dudes

I definitely don't think its a NECESSITY but I do think it helps a lot! I studied sport & exercise psychology as well as sports nutrition and it definitely comes in handy! But at the end of the day you learn more about personal training through your certification and continuing ed courses! ALWAYS CONTINUE LEARNING!!

When you design programs for people do you meet with them 1 on 1 or do you have a customized pdf for them?

    • @juliamerwin

I offer both! 1 on 1 virtual sessions as well as personalized programs that my clients complete on their own!
