This is the problem at times with TH-camrs, FIFA(FC24) and all these analysis apps and sites makes them think that they Fergusons, Klopps, Peps and the Cruyffs of this world. TH sees and coaches this kid in training everyday, you see few games and the result of TH's work and behold you have discovered talent. @@AtlantisFootball you are just looking at the first team. When he arrived the first thing I remember he did was, get into the management of the youth teams. He standardized the way they played through tout the U16s to U21s. Ten Hag is looking this first team, he knows for sure 70% of them are not gonna be here. So he’s creating that pathway to the first team through youth football. He’s replicating what he did at Ajax at United. With his first team tactics, this is not the future. He knows exactly what he’s doing. Revolutions take time. And now that financial rules are tightening, the best way to build a quality team will be through the academy. John Mortough wasn’t stupid, they saw this ahead of time, hence their concentration on youth and a coach who could develop the system. This will pay off probably in 26/27 season. And I wouldn’t be shocked if we challenge for the title that year.

I think they're keeping alvarro at benfica in the hopes of leveraging a deal for Joao Neves... it's a gamble that could pay off so hard to call it a bad decision yet. In terms of the speed that Willy has come through this season, there have been times where I've wanted to see him get more gametime but I think ETH has managed it relatively well given the balance of young to experienced players we've been forced into through injuries.. when ETH was playing survival full counter football just before christmas, it made more sense to use Evans and Maguire - it's positive to see his strategy moving away from safe, even if the pundits keep calling it 'chaos'

Also Atlantis, forgot to say, great video! you never disappoint. as you already know, I'm in the TEN HAG IN bandwagon, you are in the TEN HAG OUT train. I watch the United Stand daily, from the pole you made, I can realize that i may be brainwashed by Mark🤧🤧. BUT after my own thorough thoughts i have generated my opinions on why ETH should stay
FIRST OF ALL, If some people are TEN HAG OUT then let's be real you absolutely also stand by
    1)writing off last season's achievement
we saw prime rashford, garnacho rise, 2 cup finals, lisandro masterclass, dalot's rise, greenwood's saga ie the way he handled it, sancho saga ie the way he handled it, ronaldo saga etc. He took a team that was battered 4nil by watford which got relegated, the epl united team in history to finsh 3rd and win a cup with werghorst upfront and 10. We did not have style of play because we kicked it off to the dustbin the moment we lost to brentford because we didn't have players comfortable playing from the back.
    2)disregarding this season's problem
these are facts, we probably have the highest cb combinations in the league, due to injuries, underperformance from all of our last season's best players ie rashford, Casemiro and eriksen. Onana's transition period is disregarded, ALSO INJURIES. Now people want to know ten hag's tactics,
    =style of play
Do i say i know ETH's style of play?NO, because i watch football but not an expert in tactics. but i do see indications of what he wants to do.. 1)he wants to play from the back (he bought onana, wanted de jong, played eriksen deep), well this season casemiro, has been shite, lisandro and shaw are injured, Maguire varane and lindelof have been in and out. 2)he wants to press( indiscipline and lack of effort from some players), 3)he wants to play a highline(cbs aren't tight enough in the midfield and are slow and we can't risk slow cb's at the back coz we don't want silly thrashings like brighton). some of the in game tactics this season i would say have been inconsistent, but most of them have been down to the player's own individual errors (players switching off, not tracking their man, onana etc)
    =expectactions
please don't compare united with brighton, spurs and aston villa, these teams can do what they are doing only because they don't have the same goals or the pressure as we are. they know they have a good enough squad to stay in the league and experiment. Any manager post fergie has tried their own system but all have fallen to the conservative, win focused, counter attacking style after 1-2 losing games. Same thing ten hag has done, but i'll say we've been more expansive has ever and won more games per games than any manager post fergie. SO MY QUESTION IS, if the likes of De Zerbi or Unai etc who take over after ETH, will you (fans) be patient enough to stand with their style of play even if we get thrashed 4nils in the first few games for the sake of tactics, even if it will cost us title contention? IF NO... then lets keep ten hag, let him battle this out, he has kept this season steady and we can agree that we assume last season doesn't exist(no major thrashings this season), lets get behind him until he gets the structure and recruitment he desires for his style of play. IF YES.....then still lets keep ten hag, because isn't style of play the reason why we bought him? the legendary Ajax coach who pisses on big clubs through entertaining football. lets get his players back from injury and get new signings that fit his system.
    =Arsenal and liverpool
just to mention, arsenal style of play cost him top 4 for 3 seasons, liverpool for 2 seasons. clearly it was their plan all along, suffer now win later, fair play to us, we don't want to suffer at all, that's what ten hag did last season and it's what his doing now, only its not working especially because of the quality of players available this season. FAIR PLAY TO ETH coz he is trying to do both. So let's all agree that if we want to style of play NOW we should be ready to be midtable for 2-3 seasons before we start competing again.

Normally I agree with you in a lot of ways tbh ETH could've given Kambwala a shot much earlier but at the same time I think the squad is fragile mentally and you have to be careful how you integrate young talent because of that fragility now with Garnacho & Kobbie we have seen 2 young players who can handle the pressure whereas we've seen the more senior players crumble I would imagine ETH can see the fragile mindset in this squad and this state of mind has been here for a while now even before this current manager so I would guess to bring Kambwala along you need to make sure he can handle that same pressure now we need to see more then a couple games to make sure we are not just on a hype train even with Kobbie and Garnacho at this stage they are all young in a fragile team and thriving even tho the team are struggling there are defiantly things ETH HAS TO IMPROVE ON !!! but we also can't let these players get away with poor performances the players need to take accountability for these poor numbers as you said Casemiro was walking against Chelsea and he's the DM he could do more just like the other players are not giving everything and you can see that a lot of them need moving on asap it's like 10 or more that need moving on as a supporter I willing to give ETH another season with this new ownership in place and see what we can do

Atlantis always like your content but and I usually agree with your content and enjoy watching it but I believe your view about Erik ten Hag is wrong. I think the reason he hasn’t played Amad is because he is trying to find a consistent frontline which seems to be Rashford, Højlund and Garnacho. I don’t like the fact he hasn’t played Amad because I rate him but Garnacho is certainly at the moment better than him and Rashford has a place because of what he did last season. I also think with Kambwala in a way the way ten Hag has played him has been alright but also not alright. But with youngsters you usually don’t want to make their heads too big by giving them too many games. You have to make them realise how precious that spot in the team is. Just because we think some kids have potential doesn't mean they're ever going to make it. Obviously, we didn't know Luke Shaw and Malacia were going to be injured for this long, hence why Fernandez was loaned out. and that's also the reason why we didn't keep Reguilón for the whole season. He sent out Gore on loan because we got Amarabat, Mount, McTominay, Eriksen, Casimero, Kobbie, and Fernandez, who will start before him, and this was at the start of the season before we got injuries. Yeah, let's just play every single kid that has potential immediately and see what that does to them when we get battered. Ten Hag has brought in Rasmus, started Garnacho, Kobbie, Forson, and now Kambwala in just one season, Amass might also potentially start this season, and you're still complaining he's not a youth team developer? What top 6 club in the Premiership has done that recently except for maybe Liverpool? The others will come at the right time if they show it in training. So please get your facts straight.
