In no way are we comparing Mainoo to Rooney. What we're pointing out is that 20 years later, an 18-year-old United player has the opportunity to use the Euros as his international breakthrough and that's a really exciting prospect.
Also, I think Southgate would have left kobe in the under21s if it is not for the injury to Henderson and the pundits, media calling him out.
Facts...imagine Kobbie Mainoo, Delcan Rice and Jude Bellingham bossing the midfield area in the euro that will be exciting. I really hope Southgate to stop his favoritsm in choosing players, I want him to stop selecting players who don't even start for their club like kalvin Philips and Henderson.

Bruno is garbage, I’m glad Mainoo has come through as he has shown what it takes to be a Man Utd player. For far too long our fan base was blinded by G/A and meaningless stats by the stat pad lovers.

Mainoo is the missing piece in our midfield area, we're talking about a reliable defensive midfielder who can control the game, both offence and defence a box to box midfielder. We had a high hope when we signed casemiro but due to injury and age he doesn't play like we want and need him to, but unexpectedly kobbie Mainoo came out of the youth team and he showed us that he's the one. Thank God we don't have to spend huge amount for CDM because of Mainoo presence.

Every time there's a united game I wake up in the morning all excited just to see how Mainoo does. he's always a positive player. He doesn't pass back he looks for opportunities and cut through passes that slice open the opposition midfield.

Calm in tight areas, didn't lose the ball, had england playing through the middle which is something they have done for a long time. England have typically gone over the top or wide, with bellingham, kane being picked up into feet with runners beyond could have england playing in a total different way.

What I saw during that England game vs Belgium was something I’ve never seen before from England. That midfield is abbbsooolluuteeellyy RIDICULOUS with Mainoo, Ricr, Bellingham and Foden. There was very high IQ, technical ability and winning mentality there. I can see them win the EUROS/WC soon. This is a different England

Shaw kane saka walker stones were all virtually absent and they all start instead of the guys who made mistakes during the game. Should easily get to another final, only France are as good if not better

I 100% agree with this video, mate 👌🏼. Mainoo is composed. Amazing balance on the ball. Very strategic. Has the hindsight to think ahead, not just defensively but as we've seen against wolves and especially liverpool, he's able to change the game in his favor. All the pressure can not and should not be on his shoulders too early, as I feel he requires more room and time to grow, but he most definitely deserves a spot in the England national team 💪🏼
Also after Kobbie Mainoo had an ingery in November he started to make an preserve performance and this is where it all began.

Rooney is a great example for young players. Every Manchester United young player should be compelled to watch the You Tube video of all Rooney`s goals this would show them the intelligence, observational powers and the clinical effectiveness of turning awareness into cool instantaneous action. The young players should have to write out an explanation of what they have seen for every goal. reinforcing the message Clinical efficiency relies mainly on having the observational ability to pick the right space to be in and to pick the correct spot to pass to ball in. No one displays this better than Wayne Rooney.
i like the way he got our team passing the ball with confidence and precision. that confidence spread through the team and made us look like a powerful international side. the only other player that has managed that since the days of Charlton and Alan Ball is Paul Gascoigne. Early days i know, to be comparing Mainoo with our very best, but that is his future standard. One his quite capable of attaining. He looks like the perfect ingredient for England's midfield.

I have NEVER seen a player like him in 25 years of following the sport. The kids skills are undoubable and he is completely unflappable. If he can stay healthly, we are looking at one of the all time greats.
ETH needs to tread carefully with Mainoo. He is only 18 years old! Yes, he appears to have a good head on his shoulders, but even he might get overconfident and get himself injured if all the hype goes to his head! Gotta protect this kid!

Just get him up in the box playing beside Garnacho and let them get on with it. Do not turn him into a worker bee who does not know when to track back or even how to track back effectively. He could be another Gerd Muller or Michael Owen he is definitely not a worker bee midfielder in fact the further he is from our opponents goal the more I do not like him. Drop him or play him up front as a striker

I hate to break it to ya, but even though Kobie Mainoo is a guy who has insane potential and is very calm and proffesional despite his age, MU is still getting quite signicant amount of shots ot their goal.
I am not seeing him bringing those numbers down - If mainoo wants to further his career he needs to leave this Glazer Circus sooner rather than later!
Wayne Rooney walked on water his attitude determination skill and FIGHT was always on display. Something no one at Old Trafford seems to do any more except for Luke Shaw and young Garnacho. Mainoo is a young guy with a bit talent a brain that does not fully engage like his engine it switches off at crucial times during every single game he has played in primarily because our idiot manager prefers workhorses up front instead of natural born scorers up front. Mainoo will be the best striker in UK history if he is picked in the no 9 position.
