DIY Fan clutch removal WITHOUT special tools.

Avoid paying $80+ to rent a pulley removal tool. Try removing a fan clutch with just a racket strap pulley, some duct tape, and a wrench.

I've got a 94 and I don't have enough clearance to get anything between the bolts on the pulley and the fan, any suggestions man? I'm at a loss. I couldn't even get the special tool in if I had it

Clarify for me. Are you trying to get the fan blade(clutch) off and you’re having trouble getting a tool to fit the nut?
Or you aren’t able to access the fan blade nut?
