The reason for the weird distortion stuff is because in the original run, jaiden lost at the elite four, that’s why she showed the Rhyperion(?) killing most of her Pokémon and then the fire as well. She then asked her twitch that if she should restart and the chat said yes. The second time around she did much better and was able to win (she streamed most of this live on twitch)
Many people have explained this but basically: What happened in the Elite Four is that she actually had two tries. The first time, Colgate died to the first member and Flakes and Oops died on the second one's Rhypherior, which is why she said "I felt a horrible shiver when her Rhypherior came out". Since she only have 3 Pokemon which was all weak to the next member's type (Fire), she knew she was gonna lose so she asked her chat if she can retry and the chat said yes. She won the second run which is what she showed but her "other dimension Jaiden" is her 1st run that she lost, which she foreshadowed with the whole "Giratina splitting her in two". Hope my explanation is clear
I see everyone commenting the explanation, but I still wanna add: She fought the Elite Four on her birthday, got bullshit rng (so really bad luck) and decided to ask her twitch chat if she could try again. Same team, just better luck this time. I feel like that's cool, sure she officially lost, but that made the video so much greater lol
I’m really glad your getting into animators. An animator that’s super funny that I think you’ll like is “Something elseyt”. He is a story-time animator and gives off Jschlatt vibes. I would love to see you react to him(I’ve seen others react to him, so I’m pretty sure you can)
she did a pokemon tournament where she based her team around having 2 Gastrodons and did very well she seemed to have one of the most thought-out plans going into it.
Literally everyone else said this before I refreshed the page, so I lose I guess, but jaiden lost her first elite four run from some really bs luck, but she wanted to at least lose the final battle, so she and chat agreed to start the elite four over, but it wouldn't count as a win. That's why the whole 'alternate timeline' and 'do I deserve this' story happened.
There's the 2 Player Nuzlocke that she did, but I also recommend checking out "The Best Pokemon Game You've Never Played". It's another video going through her playthrough like she does in her Nuzlocke videos, and it's a real fun watch.
The reason theres weird stuff near the end of the video is because jaiden load her savefile because she failed the nuzlocke when fighting the elite four
Puppy must've had terrible defense to get stab crit 1 shot by a mon 3 levels weaker than it. It was like when Alpharad's Doudrio got stab crit one shot by a mon that was 6-8 levels weaker than it.
Fun fact when she was talking about her type matchup at the 7th gym she showed her scizor was at a disadvantage against piloswine which is incorrect since scizor isn't weak to ice being completely resistant to it and even super effective against it with its steel typing and it's bug typing makes ground attacks nuetrally effective against it instead of super effective while piloswine could still get rekt from scizors bullet punch, an always first to go steel type attack and with piloswines already low speed scizor definitly could have easily defeated piloswine if she needed to use scizor against it.
I was gonna say maybe the reason for that is because steel is weak to ground but I remembered Scizor is also part bug type which makes ground type neutral...
Awesome video. However is it only me or the audio balance is a bit off? The video in general sounded quite , and you sounded even quiter. I had issues hearing what you were saying at some point.
Also, I wonder if you'll watch Salty's Friendlocke series. Friendlocke is a Nuzlocke series done by Saltydkdan. It's like a Normal Nuzlocke. But he gets his friends involved and makes them control the pokemon he gets. It leads to funny moments and great interactions. There's also two seasons and a joke third season. Season One is the first attempt and everyone is having fun. There is a one time revival rule that was put in place due to it being the first time Salty and is friends were doing a Nuzlocke. So they needed some form of help. Season Two is a bit more serious with what happens. And is a randomizier when it comes to encounters. Anyway, the jokes are spot on and Salty's friends all have characters they play. Which makes things a lot better as there's now inside jokes for those characters his friends play. Seaosn Three was just a single video posted for April Fool's day. And if your wondering, yes Pokemon Challenges did watch Seasons 1 & 2.
Just a heads up: In Jaiden's third Nuzlocke video, she does a Soul Link. It's a Nuzlocke that has two players involved. And there's an additional rule involved. Pretty much player one and player two can't have any pokemon who has the same primary type on either of their teams. So if Jaiden has a Pokemon that's Grass Poison on her team. Then who she's playing with can't have a Grass Type pokemon on their team. As the poison type that her pokemon has is the secondary type. Also, the Two Player Nuzlocke she does is a randomized one. It means that the pokemon she and player two are random. So the Starters are random, the encounters are random, the trainer pokemon are random, pokemon they're given are random and the Legendaries are random. So they had no clue as to what they were getting with each encounter. Oh and one more thing, a professional Pokemon Nuzlocker called Pokemon Challenges had watched all of Jaiden's Nuzlockes. And he's impressed with how well she thought everything out despite how she and many more Nuzlockers considers him to be their enemy. I mean he had been critical with what he said. Anyway, his name is Jan and he was spoiled about a part of Jaiden's Soul Link video by his subscribers. But he does recreate his reaction to it for us.
Kirlia evolves into Gardevoir at level 30, no matter its gender is. Kirlia evolves into Gallade if it's male *and* only if you use a Dawn Stone to evolve it.

That giga impact from the Electivire was actually pretty scary considering that wasn't even a critical.

I came here to tell you why the distortion happened, but it looks like others already got that covered. XD
