Yes, it's a McDonald's in front of Ross! The dirt moving to the north of the Golden Corral is going to be a mixed-use development with commercial in the front and higher density residential behind it. They're putting in some cool amenities - should be a great development!
I see a lot of new building in Cedar, but it doesn't look they are planning more parks, protected bike & walking paths that link the new builds to each other and to the downtown area. I really would hate to see Historic Cedar City an island in the middle of miles of subdivisions.
There is a master plan for trails in Cedar City - and it's quite extensive! I agree we could use more parks - there's currently nothing in ordinance requiring developers to put them in.

Instead of building new, Cedar aught to refurbish the old dilapidated buildings first.
