These videos are my absolute favorite! They're soo detailed, you can tell with each product you've spent a lot of time playing with them and seeing what you like and don't like.
This brush feels a bit gimmicky to me. I don't know. I feel the same way about this brush as I do that BareMinerals brush that has the center cut out for the BareSkin foundation. I've watched a bunch of gurus on TH-cam who have mixed feelings about this brush...and I'm right there with them.
I've watched a few videos already on these brushes and I was really just waiting for your video. Not only are you thorough, but you are honest with your reviews. Thank you!
yes yes yes yes. I never but makeup around this time of year. I always buy my brushes this time of year. Sedona lace goes 1/2 off. Coastal scents does too and they have great deals.
Um.. Yes! Put it this way, I'm in Arabia and even I wait for that time of year and buy from American sites when have the deals. ELF have amazing black Friday sale, sephora and amazon too.
Thank you so much Emily!! I was just on their website today looking at Sigma 3DHD Precision Brush. I am so glad you did the review and comparing other precision brushes. I trust your judgment and appreciate your honesty.
Thanks for the information. I had a hunch I would feel as you've described you do about these. I don't have any Sigma brushes as my budget is so limited, but your favorites are on my list.
Have you been able to find the new L'oreal Brow product? From what I've seen it looks like it is better than the Maybelline, apparently more of a dupe for Gimme Brow. Thanks for the video, was curious about this brush but started using the 'IT OMG brush for Ulta' for my foundation which is a combo paddle and buffer, love it!
Beauty Broadcast Express I splurged and got the big powder brush IT line cosmetics and OMG, it's so soft, SO soft and gets powder on so fast and flawless.
Beauty Broadcast Express I've been using it for about a month. I like it, but I had to cut down the wand so it doesn't have that weird bulb at the end. You'll know what I mean when you see it . Thanks for all the reviews, Emily!
Emily, I am not sure if you have this brush or not but I bought the IT cosmetics brush that looks just like the sigma f80 a few months ago and I can't put it down! I had no complaints about the sigma one until I started using that one and now for some reason I never use the sigma one! Just thought I'd tell you about it if you don't have it already! Love the review as always, I always trust your opinions!
I am obsessed with the 3DHD Kabuki! Probably one of my favorite brushes ever! Definitely prefer it over my F80 and have been using it everyday! Creates a flawless face and so easy to move around the face and under the eyes!
The perfecting luminous foundation is gorgeous on you...I bought the tinted moisturizer last night trying to decide what would be best for my dry skin.
I always comment on your channel and it's probably getting boring/creepy lol but dang, it's so mind blowing how you manage to post videos so consistently even with a newborn baby, which is usually a handful!! Wow! It's truly amazing and inspiring, so I think it would be nice to let you know how much it is apreciated and admired! Although, if there comes some times when things with baby Belle get a little cray cray and you need some extra time to sleep and rest, do not ever feel pressured to make videos ASAP, just take your time, we understand and will be here waiting for you (for the best reviews of youtube!!) :) :) :) kiss and squeeze those cute cheeks of Baby Belle for me, she's becoming more and more cute everytime!!!!
Would you do a review on other brushes? Like the makeup geek or the buffing one from UD.. thanks I always feel more secure to buy something after I see you doing a review from it :)
Thank you!!! I'm not a fan of the painting moition so I think I'll pass. However you look gorgeous today!! I'm mean you look gorgeous everyday, but look so fresh and glowing today. You always look well rested in your videos so that can't be it....what did you do differently? Is the Malasma going away?
This was super helpful, i was thinking about getting these, but when you said if you are trying to save you can pass it really sealed the deal for me. Great video and thanks so much for your help and honest info!
I always appreciate your honest reviews on products. I have been wanting the Sigma f80 for quite sometime but cannot bring myself to spend 20 something dollars on a brush. I have found a brush from ecotools at Walmart that most likely gives a similar result. It is the same flat top style and very dense. I paid under $10. Just a little tip for those on a budget :)
I have both of these brushes and the smaller "little sister" brushes (love them!). I used to apply my foundation with the F80 in a buff/swirl motion, but I can't do that anymore due to it causing micro exfoliation from using Retin-A. My skin is just too dry now to be able to do that. When I use any buffing/swirling motion it just cakes my foundation (and causes more flaking). I even tried using it in a "stippling" motion, but it just doesn't work for me anymore. I love the 3DHD b/c it kind of helps to "flatten the flakes" of dry skin, but I find that the new Sephora Pro Press Foundation Brush (very dense and shape of a Beauty Blender) for my dry skin works even better b/c it leaves no streaks from "brush strokes". Have you tried that one yet? BTW-I love all of your videos. Yours were the very first ones I watched, and they're still my favorites!
Thanks so much for this review, I was waiting for your review/opinion on these. I have seen some other video's regarding these brushes & I am not impressed with them. I like the regular F80 and regular styles, these just don't seem to wow me. Gimmicky.. You are looking great. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Very well thought out review once again, thanks! I think personally I would choose the smaller concealer style brush over the larger face brush as well.
I love your reviews, they're always honest and to the point! It seems like it's more about preferences on application style with these, they're not some amazing game changing product.
Sigma has brain washed most our beauty gurus!! I don't think I'd ever pay for a sigma brush lol. Thanks for your review, Emily. I always trust your opinion :)
Emily, I wanted to genuinely say thank you for taking the time to accurately and thoroughly filling out the FTC info. Never stop doing it that way. It i professional, trustworthy and nice to see the situations Keep up the great work!!!
Hi Emily! I was thinking about getting another eyeshadow brush for a precise application for my eye lid. Do you have a good affordable recommendation? If you answer this then thank you so much! P.S. I love you videos on all of your channels! :)
do you like applying your foundation with any real techniques brushes? like the expert face brush or the buffing brush? i know you love your F80, but wondered if you'd tried my favorites!
Thank you SO much for this review Emily! I was so intrigued with this brush but not too inclined to buy it. How odd it doesn't work as well with buffing motions - I'm not a 'painter' if you know what I mean!
your makeup look in this video is fab ❤️ -- Emily, I always love watching you, I truly trust you opinion---I also wanted to thank you for the Sonia Kashuk video, I will definitely be picking up the Luminous foundation and pot concealer!!!
Hi Emily - I'd love to know your thoughts on how the Sigma F80 compares to the Heavenly Luxe Buffing Airbrush Foundation Brush that comes with It Cosmetics Celebration Foundation (QVC item A225107). I have the It brush and use it for liquid foundation, but wondered if the F80 performs the same or better.
Emily I have a question for you about F80. In a year I bought my second F80. The first one shed very bad on a first day. And then the bristles came out whole after 9 months. Then I bought the second one and this one sheds again. By the way I used and washed properly and very careful. Did you have any thing like this? P. S sorry for my English
I am disappointed with Sigma since they raised their prices again. I won't buy their brushes anymore. Their prices are too close to MAC's prices now. I feel a little duped by Sigma. I don't think their goal was ever to make good brushes that everyone can afford. I now spend the little bit extra to get MAC's brushes. It's worth the small difference for the better brush. I wonder with the amount of greed Sigma has been showing lately, if they are in fact the "really good people " they claimed to be or they are just really good sales people that know exactly what to say.
Tbh, there are plenty of Sigma brushes that I think are way better than Mac brushes, like even after I wash the Mac ones, they feel so brittle and hard on the skin. Whatever the price I'll much rather get Sigma brushes! Just my taste.
Ooh Mimi from meemscouture did a review on the 3dhd brush today too! Except she likes hers more than the kabuki flat top brush. It really is different for different people haha :p
Thank you for reviewing these Emily - you have saved me some money yet again. Just a general question for anyone - do you find that the Sigma F80 gives microdermabrasion? I am a fingers or sponge person for my base products as I have very dry and sensitive skin but would love to try a foundation brush. Anyone got any recommendations for a soft (and it would have to be very soft) brush, preferably cruelty free?
I love to put my foundation on with my fingers and partially work it in and then take my f80 and really buff and buff it in. The hairs on the f80 are synthetic and it is really soft and gentle. I think it's worth a try.
dana94a Thank you for replying. I'm just a bit wary of buffing too much as I don't want to end up with a red face! Ahh, stuff it - I think I will give it a try for sure. If I don't get on with it I can disinfect it and I am sure one of my friends will be more than happy with it!!
Delilah Winchester These types of brushes are so soft, you don't need to worry about getting a red face! I also have sensitive skin, and they do not cause me any irritation, whatsoever. The IT COSMETICS brushes are VERY soft and are EXCELLENT quality, definitely worth the investment. You can find these at Ulta. I'm sure you could return it if you weren't satisfied.
Michelle Kelly I would love to try the IT Cosmetic ones but they are quite expensive and I don't live in the US (we can't take them back in the UK unless they are actually defective). I have already placed an order online for my Sigma F80. Really looking forwards to using it! I might ease myself into it by starting with fingers/sponge and using it just to finish off and work from there. If I can manage that one, the IT Cosmetics one it is (I think I can buy them from QVC over here). Thank you for your help :)
The IT Cosmetics brushes from QVC are the ones the ones that I have, and they are great! I've always applied my foundation with my fingers and then used a sponge to blend. I never used a brush for blending until I started watching You Tube. I think they both work equally well. I haven't yet purchased a Beauty Blender, but I have tried the Real Techniques sponge, and I do like it. However, my favourite sponge for blending is the MAC "Duo Sided Sponge," which I use dry. It is a flat, oval shaped sponge that is flocked on one side. I use that side for blending blush if I need to. I use the other side for blending my foundation. They also have one without the flocking on one side, called the "All Blending Sponge." Both are latex free, easy to clean and are very durable and soft. I really like these sponges. They are much better quality than the cheaper sponge wedges you get at the drug store. I've had mine for a couple of years now, and it's still in excellent condition. Anyway, good luck with your brush. I'm sure you will enjoy using it, but I doubt very much you'll be giving up your sponge! There's nothing quite like a good sponge for blending makeup (in my opinion). : )
I keep hearing about this rush! May I ask how it is better? I am over giving Sigma my money...Also, I noticed that Amazon has "dupes" of Sigma's F80 for a much cheaper price point.
littlequake its softer, blends liquid foundation flawlessly even when buffing in circular motions and i dont really have to buff and pat the product in. i could really tell the difference when i used the IT brush vs my Sigma flat top in the way it made my foundation look. I dont even use my sigma anymore except for patting on powder. I dont know about the dupes on Amazon, i heard that they are knock offs but idk.
THANK YOU, Paulina!! Sold. :) When looking over reviews of the amazon dupes, many state that it is similar to the F80, but that it has a "chemical" scent that is washed away easily. I couldn't believe the price differences though, $10 for the entire kabuki set- small and large? That is 1/10th the price! If I were an beauty guru I would absolutely do a comparison, as Sigma is ripping people off...
This brush doesn't appeal to me at all but however I found a dupe of it already on ebay and it's only 1.99. The exact same dupe lookalike. does the same job just less price
Em- idi what it's is but I did a double take when I saw you in the title card. You look stunning- literally STUNNING. you look so naturally elegant- I love you loads & hope you're doing well. Xxx
loved this review in particular.. everyone is raving about these brushes and i'm like i'd rather use the older ones.. anyway.. you look so youthful and young with this makeup look.. is it just me but idk you looked like racheltalbot from checkinthemirror :) beautiful women :)
I'm really loving your makeup look today!
Like always, honest and straight to the point. Great review young lady.
thank you! :)
These videos are my absolute favorite! They're soo detailed, you can tell with each product you've spent a lot of time playing with them and seeing what you like and don't like.
Thanks for doing a review on these brushes, I have seen plenty others but was really looking forward to yours cause I knew yours would be thorough. :)
thank you so much for taking time to watch! :)
I love that you get right to the point and don't babble on like so many others!!! lots of helpful information and honest, well thought out opinions
I've watched a few videos already on these brushes and I was really just waiting for your video. Not only are you thorough, but you are honest with your reviews. Thank you!
you're always so honest :) also, idk what it is but from your skin to your nails, everything looks so healthy and glowy!
A review doesn't get much better than this; straight with no chaser.
Another great review Emily! Ive seen a lot of reviews on the new sigma brushes, but yours is by far the most helpful! Thanks! :) xx
I totally agree. The original F80 and F84 are my favorite for liquid foundation. Thanks Emily.
could you please do a tutorial on this look? I love how fresh and natural it looks. Thx Emily!
Thanks Emily. I've watched other reviews of these new brushes but I always make my final decision on your reviews.
How good are the black friday sales and cyber monday sales for makeup? Can you get really good deals???
yes yes yes yes.
Alexandra Lowen thank you so much, i love Elf!!!
Moe Tay Thank you for replying I love Costal Scents! I have my eye on a few things!
Thank you so much Emily!! I was just on their website today looking at Sigma 3DHD Precision Brush. I am so glad you did the review and comparing other precision brushes. I trust your judgment and appreciate your honesty.
Your makeup is exceptionally beautiful today. Simple and understated.
It looks amazing she is really gourgeous here !:)

thanks for the heads up- I hadn't heard about one from L'oreal! Now it's on my radar. Thank you! :)

Your face makeup looks so beautiful Emily!! It looks so fresh and pretty, it suits you very much! :)
So nice to see an actually honest review! I think I was definitely pass on the foundation brush but am still intrigued by the smaller one for sure.
The perfecting luminous foundation is gorgeous on you...I bought the tinted moisturizer last night trying to decide what would be best for my dry skin.
These have caught my attention so greatly. Something about the "Painting Motion" I may need to purchase... thank you for the review!
I'm in the hospital right now having my 5th baby. I'm watching your video. Your voice is so calming and relaxing during my contractions.
I always comment on your channel and it's probably getting boring/creepy lol but dang, it's so mind blowing how you manage to post videos so consistently even with a newborn baby, which is usually a handful!! Zunaira Sulman back at you girl! I'm humbled by your sweetness towards me :) thank you!

a great review. Have you tried Anisa's foundation brush? would love to hear your opinion
I didn't buy the kabuki, but did give in and get the precision brush. Your review is very accurate as usual!!! Thank you Emily.
U look so refreshing n I love ur honesty. Thanks em so good to see u are not into sigma just for the commission,
I love your reviews, they're always honest and to the point! It seems like it's more about preferences on application style with these, they're not some amazing game changing product.

You look so pretty! I love your makeup!
thanks Camille!! I was really all over the place this morning, so I'm glad the look held together somewhat! :)
Hi Emily! I was thinking about getting another eyeshadow brush for a precise application for my eye lid. Do you have a good affordable recommendation? If you answer this then thank you so much! P.S. I love you videos on all of your channels! :)
I don't think I'll be purchasing these brushes. I have the F80 and I don't think this brush replaces it. Thanks for the review Emily! :)
do you like applying your foundation with any real techniques brushes? like the expert face brush or the buffing brush? i know you love your F80, but wondered if you'd tried my favorites!
Thank you SO much for this review Emily! I was so intrigued with this brush but not too inclined to buy it. How odd it doesn't work as well with buffing motions - I'm not a 'painter' if you know what I mean!
Thanks for this review! I was curious about your thoughts on these brushes 😊
Thanks so much Em, for another clear and honest review!!
Thank you Emily I have the F80 and the rest of the collection...thanks again for advice...
I would love it if you reviewed the NYX under eye dark circle concealer pot! They come in salmony and peachy shades and its $5 at ULTA!
your makeup look in this video is fab ❤️ -- Emily, I always love watching you, I truly trust you opinion---I also wanted to thank you for the Sonia Kashuk video, I will definitely be picking up the Luminous foundation and pot concealer!!!
Beautiful as always Em. Is it weird that you look like Sandra Bullock in this video? It must be the stunning eyeshadow.

Then I bought the second one and this one sheds again. By the way I used and washed properly and very careful. Did you have any thing like this? P. S sorry for my English
Emily your makeup is so beautiful in this video! I would love to see a tutorial on this look. :)
Hey Emily, I tried using your sigma discount code but the site would not take it. Any suggestions?
Awesome been wondering about those. Thanks Emily. I just don't see me using anything but my F80.
Wow, that SK blush looks great on you! Totally looks like a natural flush
your makeup today is gorgeous!
Please do a review on Hourglass ambient light powders and blush and also on the immaculate liquid powder foundation.
I am disappointed with Sigma since they raised their prices again. I won't buy their brushes anymore. Their prices are too close to MAC's prices now. I feel a little duped by Sigma. If you're going to get brushes I recommend the It brushes for Ulta. Definitely worth the money!
I've been waiting to see your review on these!!
Love the more natural makeup look on you!
Wow. I really like you. I was seriously considering buying the 3dhd brush. I guess I'll be buying the F80. Thank you 🤗
Ooh Mimi from meemscouture did a review on the 3dhd brush today too! Except she likes hers more than the kabuki flat top brush. It really is different for different people haha :p
Will you be reviewing the lorac mega pro palette?
Thanx for the great and honest review, Em :D xo
thanks Olivia :D
Would love a tutorial on your eye look!
Thanks for this review! I was thinking of getting this brush!
Can we do a drugstore foundation video? Best/worst? Pahhhleaasseee :) ♡
I was hoping you would review these. Thanks
There's nothing quite like a good sponge for blending makeup (in my opinion). : )
always love your brush reviews! they are so helpful! xo from my beauty channel to your's
Thanks Em for your honest review.
I totally agree with you! I think F80 is a must buy rather then the 3DHD. But it's good to have them all =)
Try the it cosmetics airbrush buffing foundation brush! #110 , its also a flat top. Its AMAZING!! it can run circles around the sigma flat top kabuki.
I keep hearing about this rush! May I ask how it is better? I am over giving Sigma my money...Also, I noticed that Amazon has "dupes" of Sigma's F80 for a much cheaper price point.

Great review! I actually bought my F80 b/c of you! I'm gonna stick with that...great brush!
Love this look!! Tutorial???
Great review Emily! Thanks!
I have very dry skin. The only brush that works for me is the RT buffing brush.
This was a really good review. Thanks Emily!!!💞
Very useful and honest review! Thank you!
Really glad you did this video TY,,,,,, I would say stay with the F80
i dont like foundation brushes that mch i prefer my beauty blender,on a side note ur skin looks amazing in this video :)
Your makeup looks great :)
Em- idi what it's is but I did a double take when I saw you in the title card. You look stunning- literally STUNNING. you look so naturally elegant- I love you loads & hope you're doing well. Xxx
love your eye look!
