i like wemcal's videos. to the point. not too long like most uploads nowadays and he doesn't use a selfie stick like the others do which is great. i like his fogger vid.

Should i use this method for removing old chain link poles or dig them out?

That would be up to you...if you cut them, the base is still there and you need to pound it below the surface about 5 inches, I did that later. If you pull them you will remove the base and concrete

While this is great, wouldn't you have better luck, digging about 2 inches that way it is not above ground?

I did… after any poles are cut I normally notch the pole about 2-3 inches and hammer I down below the surface.. thanks for sharing that thought

not smart if you asked me as the lawn mower blade will eventually hit the bottom section of the pole and dull/ break your lawn mower eventually.
not smart! you should have digged a small trench around it for say 10-15 inches and then cut it off 5 -10 inches under the surface.
just my take on the whole thing... .

Thanks for watching... after it was cut I notched it and beat it down about 4 inches below the top... I’m in lawn service as well and have to lower pipe cutoffs and thin stumps all the time
