I like alot of my ryobi tools but the sawzall is not one of them, the metal piece that has the blade holder is weak and snapped off after a few months on both the regular and brushless models. Pretty pathetic that the #1 reported problem was ignored when designing the brushless model.
I have challenge finding replacement blades for the Ryobi brushless reciprocating saw. The one I bought came with one blade for cutting wood. I need advice on finding compatible blades to cut metal.
@@sinbadsailor1963That's true for ANY cordless tool. One accident is enough for our precious body. For example just imagine a drill bit going round into something when trigger pushed accidentally, or worse a cordless angle grinder jumping on us. Tools can be purchased again, but Nature's gifts are divine and can't be purchased in a natural form. SAFETY FIRST. The sad part is that accidents also happen with overconfident, reckless users.
What’s the difference between item#’s P519 vs PCL515B ? They’re both the same price, currently at $79, and seem to have the same/similar details. These are both the non-HP reciprocating saws for the same price. Any details are helpful with this. Thank you.
This is probably a dum question... can I use this saw to cut a partially broken branch that's hanging off my tree. It's too definitely thick for clippers, but not huge (eistimating 3-4 inches diameter) and it's either this or a hand saw as far as what we have. I need to remove it before it falls off completely as it is hanging over a play area.
I've been searching this issue, too. I was wondering if the reason is the new blades I've been buying. I can't buy anything longer than 6 inches whips around so much, I can't use it.
Love learning from a woman! The inclusivity is great even how she said to tie back long hair! anyone can do this stuff regardless of gender! by the way does anyone know if you can use this saw to prune trees?
This girl is a star!! Love learning from someone so grounded and informative
We're glad you found this video to be helpful 🙌 Let us know what tools you'd like to see next!
I actually learned something in this video! I didn’t know you can plunge cut and use the reciprocating saw similar to a jigsaw. Very cool.
I have a Ryobi hammer-drill for over 15 years and it never let me down, great tool maker! This video is truly inspiring! 😊

Shannon is delightful.✌🏽
Good Morning Shannon! Thanks for another informative video. 👍
This saw definitely doesn’t seem so scary now!
Thank you. Very informative and short!
What's the difference between the two saws shown? Are they both still available at stores?
Great video, this person is great at explaining things, I learnt a lot in this video.
Just the video I needed!
Awesome! Thank you for this video!🙏

Can I cut the middle/center with this?
Plunge cut.
I modified an attachment so that my wife loves this tool
Sorry for your loss
I'm pretty sure that I get your sense of humour. 😂
😂😂😂
😳😂. I got both these gifted to me by my husband today. Thank God I don't have to resort using them that way. 😅
Do you think I should remove the battery before changing blades
Yes. That's in the printed directions for the saw.
You don’t have to, just lock the tool and it can’t recip unless unlocked

My question is can it be used with a metal cutting blades to cut metal fence post cylindeRs ?
Of course. Just use the proper blade. I would recommend a carbide blade for that job. Diablo is the best.

Yes. Use this saw with a pruning blade.
How I can replace the cutter after broken?
Why does a new blade wobble so much? Is there a way to adjust the hold on the blade? The blade seems to slide side to side in the mount.

I have had no problem with wobbling, and I use 9-inch blades. I recommend using a higher quality blade. Diablo is the best.
Could you also demonstrate how to use it for self-defense?
I cant get the battery off. Why?
Battery voltage?
18v you can see it at the video
Can this be used on body parts that are hard to dispose of, like thick bones?
CAN I CUT THROUGH A RUBBER TYRE, PLEASE?
Yes u can easily cut through several car tyres quickly if u want to damage an entire st within minutes.
If you use the right blade, this saw can cut through anything, including steel, cast iron, and concrete.
Taking apart an old sofa!

Good video, but should also wear gloves when using this tool
And wear goggles 🤓
why not just use a regular saw?
Please like if her chest size distract you from everthing else😉
I had to rewind twice 😅
Can you do a review on the attachment I saw on pornhub the other day?
You’re saying Ryobi wrong. Ask @ToolReviewZone 😂😂
@shannonevans4892 🤣🤣🤣
