      I can tell if you had a significant other and y'all went through hard times you would leave. It's a lot of reasons other than someone being lazy that ppl rent rooms. The plaintiff NEVER explained WHY they had to but that they had to for a short period of time. A person could be waiting for their next apartment to get ready while they just rent a cheap room from someone. Instead of going to a hotel, where in VA a NICE one with a kitchenette is $300 a week (I've had to do this because I had no family to help); that's $1200 a month! Even if you get the cheapest, it comes with a lot of uneasiness because of the area and ppl, especially with a small child/children. Or even if you rented from family, you would still have to pay them IF they had the means and room to help, at least I would. I say this all to say you don't know what OPTIONS or what ppl are going through.

    • @micksxxxx
      @micksxxxx 2 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      I don't understand why you seem to think it should be all down to the husband to provide, there are two adults in that relationship. "Your husband ain't sh*t" ? honestly what kind of a person are you to say that. I'm sure that man is doing everything he can to provide for his family. If he has found a roof over their head, even if it is just "a room" then he is doing better than some others - at least he's there! at the end of the day, that's what the kids are going to remember. You have a cheek to call the plaintiff entitled, when you're coming across as pretty entitled yourself. Don't look down on others just because you have more.

    As parents, they had an obligation to ensure they were in a safe home for their child. If they had concerns about the conditions, they should have moved out and gotten their own apartment. The husband should have been hustling hard to get them into a better home. Regardless of what they thought, the defendant at least had her own place. Calling DFCS because they got kicked out was petty and mean. If the children were being abused, they should have called DCFS way before that point.

    Idk how anyone can be on one side here vs the other, claiming one side has their crap together and the other doesn’t. One entire family is renting a BEDROOM. The other one has a place but has to invite a whole family of strangers into her place to try to make it work. All of these people are either dealing with hard times, or they’re fuck ups, or a combination of both. There’s no side in this that should feel superior, which they both felt, and that’s exactly why they ended up here.

    I'm already done with this case. You are renting a room.

    Girl, you’re renting a room. You can’t tell people who they can & can’t have in there. Why can’t you & your “Husband” get a place for yourselves? Had no business being pregnant again with no adequate place to stay already.

      If they get there and you need any assistance like finding a job and daycare they will sometimes get assigned a case worker to be referred to programs.

      Not necessarily, they have to do an investigation and that can last up to 60 days.

    If the plaintiff's are so high and mighty then why are they renting 1 room in someone elses house for two adults and children, 1 being a newborn baby?? And if she actually gave a shit about the welfare of the defendant's children she would have made the call straight away while she was living in the room not once she was free and clear. She did it to get back at her, out of spite for them being given notice to vacate the room they were renting. I dont trust the females statements about the defendant in court at all, there is something very smug and nasty about her, i dont think she was exactly honest about what was going on, the judge made a good point in her claims about feeding her kids because she couldn't but threw out hundreds of dollars of perfectly good food?? In saying that, perhaps the defendant has her own stuff going on, but she's got herself and her kids situated in their own place unlike her.

    If they knew she was really doing prostitution, drugs, and living messy while they LIVED there, why did they not call then?? They didn't bc there was nothing to report, they made up things for revenge. The way the plaintiffs did things is just wrong and should be criminal charges. They trying to throw shade on the defendant but at least she had a home and they are the ones renting 1 room with 2 kids and 2 adults in a tiny space.

    No offense, but must stop thinking they get certain luxury’s that does not apply when they decide to rent a room from someone else home . It’s unfortunate that she could not rent a full apartment for the luxury of privacy with her daughter . It’s a room she is renting not the house .
