I'm going to try to translate the names as best as I can, but no promises. We have cutie blond girl 이솔, or Yisol. You can spell it as Iseoul, as long as it is pronounced as Ee-sole. Anyways, we can see two characters featured in this: Yisol and Coma. Yisol seems to be a transfer who came in mid-year, and immediately we can see distinct differences in Yisol and Coma's characters. Yisol is very social and likeable and makes friends almost immediately. On the other hand, Coma, who wasn't a transfer, was lonely and slept through class. It seems like Yisol tries to befriend Coma and is brushed off whenever she reaches out, which is seen when Coma ignores/ doesn't reply to a message while smoking. Coma seems to have some bad habits such as smoking and hanging out at pc rooms all the time. Yisol gently forces her out of them by hanging out with her and having healthy fun. The colour palette transitions to warmer colours after Coma and Yisol grow closer. It's so lovely. It's shown that they grow closer through the bit at 1:06 and 1:12 where at first, Coma ignores Yisol's smiles and then eventually even waves back to her at a party. It seems like they grow super close even though Coma doesn't completely allow herself to trust Yisol as seen in the karaoke scene. I think the scene at 1:37 where Coma's hand is shaking is a sign of withdrawal. Coma smokes a lot throughout all of Koruma's animations, possibly hinting at an addiction. With Yisol's help, I'm guessing Coma was trying to quit smoking. Aaaand everything would be happy if it wasn't for the foreshadowing of a flower petal falling and obscuring Yisol's face. Just saying, this is not a good sign. Good work, Koruma! I'm very excited to see more of your work and piece this together.
Y'know, everyone thinks that Coma killed Bondie, but what if she was framed? Many of the other videos has people pointing at Coma as if blaming her. Plus, there's a specific scene in one of the animatics that show people pointing at Coma, her being confused, and then realizing that she has the brick in her hand all surprised.
I think that that might not be the case because, at the end, there's a picture of the two girls; Coma is holding something in her hand, which, I think, might be the brick that was used to hurt the blonde girl, and so the leaf falls on the blonde girl's face, possibly indicating that she died because of Coma. Also to mention, the Korean writing that is scribbled out might mean something, I don't know if it's their names or an adjective that describes them but it just might mean something. If you or someone reading this knows Korean- could you let me know what it says, please?
Miss Flower- My findings so far: the right side reads 이쁘고 작한 솔이, or “pretty little Sol-i ♡” (Lee Sol is the name of the blonde girl)--so far for the left, the closest I’ve gotten is interpreting it as 분조장, or “branch family”--- I think Lee Sol drew this, not sure if she also crossed out what she wrote but she considered Coma to be honorary family although not related by blood (which also disproves the theory that they are dating) by this interpretation----not sure what the title reads for you but for me it basically is the idea of ‘falling asleep again after waking up,’ which connects to the beginning when Coma wakes up alone in the classroom and sees Sol perhaps
When I first heard the music playing in the background, I liked it so much I found a one hour loop and played it during some of the lowest points of my life Now watching this again a year later, the music carries a lot more weight than it did the first time I heard it
the video is set on the events of " Back in school, " which the character's mindset of what the daily life during on that event. (spoiler alert) The comparison between of the two characters are difference of emotion and personality One is more sad and really have cynical outlook. But the other is more cheerful and has innocents. The whole video base on friendship and the person who we care about. My Theory is that something bad happened to the friend that led to death or coma? If you seen the notebook with the friend's face cover with the petal means she's gone or ???? I think the character dye the hair white and cut it short because she want to remember and honor her friend for being her side although school. The character is dealing with grief and loss. Even having a negative outlook of life.

It makes me slightly uncomfortable how incredibly perfect you are with colours, perspective, story telling, moods, atmosphere, animation, art style, the characters (designs, personality, presentation and change) and just everything put together seems impossible to get over how complete and powerful this is. Can we talk for a second about how astounding the progress Koruma's made animation wise is here? The level of confidence in the composition, color choices, the editing, every aspect is so effortlessly excuted here, and the fact that it only took them two years to get to this point is nothing short of miraculous. I see really big things in the future for Koruma animation-wise, and I would not be surprised if we saw their credits really start to build in the industry going forward.
My theory on this OC’s world: Coma’s a kinda messed up delinquent, until she met Ms. Blonde Hair and was taken aback at her kindness. Then something happened (I’m not sure what caused this but we shall see, I am thinking all of this is a dream or she is hallucinating), and Coma killed Ms. Blonde Hair with a brick. Coma went to prison, an apocalypse happened and she met the cute girl with two-toned hair. The mask dude is Coma, either trying to save herself or the opposite.

I'm not much of a theorist, but on 0:47 of Cradles (one of Koruma's other videos), the person shown reaching out their hand kind of has a resemblance to the blonde friend in this video. A few seconds later in Cradles the main character is holding a brick and it is implied that she has injured/killed someone with it. Maybe she hurt her friend because of something? Or was framed for the crime? I may be wrong though lol

Ok so I’ve got a theory. (Sorry if there will be mistakes, I’m not a native speaker). Basically, we have this girl, Coma, who used to be an ordinary student of a Korean school (I suppose it’s Korean, because in a Q&A vid the artist has mentioned it). She was the one to break the rules and definitely hated the system, (Back in School animation and her looking quite depressive). She met the blond girl and PROBABLY (at least I hope so) fell in love with her. And then she murdered her (I think it’s her, as far as I remember she appeared in “Cradles”) with a brick, which is obvious, since the brick appears in many vids. She goes to prison, (in one of the vids she was drawn in an orange prison uniform). I suppose that she has a mental disorder, in this video her hand was shaking with no reason. I might be mistaking, but I really believe in this. The ring in “Cradles” could have symbolized the breakup, probably it has something to do with her parents. And the drawing of these girls. Coma is holding a brick, so she could plan it. And here’s when the things start to get harder. I would say that the apocalypse happened and she broke out from prison, but the only things that bothers me and refutes this theory is the comment from the Q&A vid, “The universe is related to dreams”. So probably she was out from prison and has something like a post traumatic syndrome causing weird staff which has to do with her dreams. The scene in “Crash”, where the man with a rifle shoots her down can symbolize her guilt. And in “Meaning” she tries to overcome it. And then wakes up in her room. Another theory is that she might take pills for sleep, (remember the package of pills in “Crash”). So overall, I think there is much more to show. The animation is beautiful and the universe seems to be interesting. So I wish the artist a lot of inspiration!

So this is my theory: Coma doesn’t have a family and goes to school but hates it. Finds a friend, hopefully falls in love. But she has a condition in which either her horrible dreams come true or she sleepwalks and does horrible things in her sleep. She kills someone w/ a brick. Idk who. Probably the blonde girl. She tries to deny it but looks at the bloody brick in her hand and loathes herself. After that she can’t properly sleep and relies on cigarettes, goes to prison, drops out of school, etc. In her dreams (that may or may not come true) she is stalked by a murderer with a mask and dies many times but finds a companion (Meaning) and HOPEFULLY stops feeling super lonely.

ok so I've watched all your videos, trying to piece together what the heck is happening.. so ima combine all the theories i thought were realistic and my own theory as well. first off, the girl with black hair and the girl with a kinda blonde purplish color hair are the same person. (again just theories not actual facts) in this video in particular she has black hair. I think her name is Coma? I don't speak korean so I can't get the full picture on this. anyways there's technically 4 Coma timelines so lets go in order *1. long black hair neatly cut* this is when coma was still in school and was like everyone else *2. long black hair messy* this is when things start to go downhill, I forgot which video it is, but the video is sorta metaphorically explaining she felt chained up when it came to school and that she was in a cage. Towards the end of the video you see a scene of her breaking out of the cage and looking back at all the cells soo im guessing here she dropped out of school. *ok so this is where people who have not watched the rest of the videos are getting confused* there's loads of comments saying stuff like "why's everyone talking about murder and stuff? I thought this was a love story." and yes it could actually be that buuuuut in this same timeline is when she might kill someone. in another video you can see her in a scene where blood is flashing onto and off her hand, then after, there are police lights and she looks concerned and/or terrified. there's also a scene of her holding a bloody brick, hence, we can probably guess she killed someone with a brick. in another video she will actually look at a brick and look scared. now, this is where two things can be guessed. 1. she killed someone 2. someone tried to kill her ibriefly explained and how it is possible, but now i'll explain 2. soo in a video (i think it was cradles) she looks at a brick and looks scared, now this could possibly be two reasons 1. she regrets killing the person with a brick and is scared of herself or 2. someone tried to kill her with a brick ..but 2. is kinda a stretch as in a video you can actually see Coma holding the brick. in my opinion it could likely be both scenario 1. and 2. someone tried to kill her using a brick and she used self defense and actually killed the person and then the police showed up and she obviously was arrested. now lets continue along the timeline *3. short haired (black)* we don't get a lot of information on this as I only saw it once in a video. I'm guessing this is when she was in jail, in a video you can see her for a short moment wearing orange with high fencing surrounding her. *4. short hair (blonde and purplish)* this is where things get very confusing. but I'm gonna get straight to it. In this timeline everything is very hazy and destroyed. You often see her exploring around the rubble. How she got out of jail is very vague. In the animations you can see lots of very old news scattered around the town saying stuff like "apocalypse". Which makes sense as there is barely anyone around and everything is destroyed. My theory on how she got out of jail is she either spent her time and was let go or because of the apocalypse, she escaped. Most of this timeline is her getting shot or chased by a masked person. This person could be a metaphor or a real person. In one animation you see her getting shot over and over and over. One comment on that video peeked my interest, it went something like this "she could be in a trial and she's trying to kill herself so she can move on, but everytime she gets shot by the masked person she has to restart". You can see this same thing happen a lot in movies. This could make sense as you can see her get shot over and over and over. Now you might be saying "it could just be a replay of her dying" which i say, nah fam. You see her shot in two different positions 1. where she's running away 2. where's she's sorta leaning/crouching moving on in this timeline you get introduced to two new characters 1. the masked person 2. a short pink haired girl who has a robot arm I'm guessing the masked person is real because you can actually see Coma and the pink haired girl running away from them and then tripping the masked person off a building. *so now here's the main question.. where does this video fit into the timeline?* well here's one clue, she has long messy hair, which means she kills someone sometime soon. This is before she kills someone because, well, she would be in jail if she had already killed someone. Well there really isn't much to this video, besides that you see how she acts around people and some of her other struggles. buuuut there is one thing that stuck out to me. 1:53 you can see two drawings, the one left is obviously Coma and the one on the right is whoever this new character is. Now this seems to be just a drawing, but if you look at Coma's right hand you'll see she's holding a rectangular object. you might be thinking its just a phone, but you see Ms. Blonde (that's what I'll call the other character) on her phone muuuch more often then Coma, so it would make sense that she would be holding one too. So we can infer, she is holding the brick she kills someone with, and that someone could be Ms. Blonde. ok so I'd like to say two things 1. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT KILL MS. 그루잠 in English means something along the lines of "gruesome" as we spell it, pronounced gru-some, pretty much pronounced how it's spelt. The Korean way of pronouncing it is harder to explain but I'll try- Ka-ru-sham (When listening to the word being pronounced in Korean the "ru" almost sound as if there's a slight "d" at the end. the "sham" part is pronounced not with a strong "sh" sound. i like your idea of 그루잠 meaning gruesome, but i think i disagree because at the most it would only be similar with the first part "그루," the title 그루잠 is actually slang for falling asleep again after waking up... but mostly i'm a little confused on your written pronunciation of 그루잠 because it should actually be more like geu/keu ru jam instead of ka ru sham (카루샴?)... i definitely agree that hangeul can't be pronounced just from reading romanization, but in general you can rely on hangeul to be pronounced fairly close to how it's written (with exceptions to certain consonant combinations for example 설날 is pronounced 설랄 and dialect changes)
I didn't consider just looking at the pronunciation itself. I recall 그루잠 literally is when you wake up in the middle of your sleep then fall back asleep again. 그루 also is a word used to refer to trees, since in Korean you don't just say "there are 3 trees" but you say "there are 3 그루 of trees," if that makes sense. I think it's kind of like the different words we have in English to refer to groups of animals (like "murder of crows"). Don't know if that has much to do with it but that was what I first thought when I saw the title and the video started with a tree branch. In any case, I just assumed the whole thing was just a dream but apparently the blonde girl gets murdered according to all these comments.

Can we talk for a second about how astounding the progress Koruma's made animation wise is here? The level of confidence in the composition, color choices, the editing, every aspect is so effortlessly excuted here, and the fact that it only took them two years to get to this point is nothing short of miraculous. I see really big things in the future for Koruma animation-wise, and I would not be surprised if we saw their credits really start to build in the industry going forward.

Coma’s a kinda messed up delinquent, until she met Ms. Blonde Hair and was taken aback at her kindness. Then something happened (I’m not sure what caused this but we shall see, I am thinking all of this is a dream or she is hallucinating), and Coma killed Ms. Blonde Hair with a brick. Coma went to prison, an apocalypse happened and she met the cute girl with two-toned hair. The mask dude is Coma, either trying to save herself or the opposite.

I'm not much of a theorist, but on 0:47 of Cradles (one of Koruma's other videos), the person shown reaching out their hand kind of has a resemblance to the blonde friend in this video. Ok so I’ve got a theory. (Sorry if there will be mistakes, I’m not a native speaker). Basically, we have this girl, Coma, who used to be an ordinary student of a Korean school (I suppose it’s Korean, because in a Q&A vid the artist has mentioned it). She was the one to break the rules and definitely hated the system, (Back in School animation and her looking quite depressive). She met the blond girl and PROBABLY (at least I hope so) fell in love with her. And then she murdered her (I think it’s her, as far as I remember she appeared in “Cradles”) with a brick, which is obvious, since the brick appears in many vids. She goes to prison, (in one of the vids she was drawn in an orange prison uniform). I suppose that she has a mental disorder, in this video her hand was shaking with no reason. I might be mistaking, but I really believe in this. The ring in “Cradles” could have symbolized the breakup, probably it has something to do with her parents. And the drawing of these girls. Coma is holding a brick, so she could plan it. And here’s when the things start to get harder. I would say that the apocalypse happened and she broke out from prison, but the only things that bothers me and refutes this theory is the comment from the Q&A vid, “The universe is related to dreams”. So probably she was out from prison and has something like a post traumatic syndrome causing weird staff which has to do with her dreams. The scene in “Crash”, where the man with a rifle shoots her down can symbolize her guilt. And in “Meaning” she tries to overcome it. And then wakes up in her room. Another theory is that she might take pills for sleep, (remember the package of pills in “Crash”). So overall, I think there is much more to show. The animation is beautiful and the universe seems to be interesting. So I wish the artist a lot of inspiration!

So this is my theory: Coma doesn’t have a family and goes to school but hates it. Finds a friend, hopefully falls in love. But she has a condition in which either her horrible dreams come true or she sleepwalks and does horrible things in her sleep. She kills someone w/ a brick. Idk who. Probably the blonde girl. She tries to deny it but looks at the bloody brick in her hand and loathes herself. After that she can’t properly sleep and relies on cigarettes, goes to prison, drops out of school, etc. In her dreams (that may or may not come true) she is stalked by a murderer with a mask and dies many times but finds a companion (Meaning) and HOPEFULLY stops feeling super lonely.

ok so I've watched all your videos, trying to piece together what the heck is happening.. so ima combine all the theories i thought were realistic and my own theory as well. first off, the girl with black hair and the girl with a kinda blonde purplish color hair are the same person. (again just theories not actual facts) in this video in particular she has black hair. I think her name is Coma? I don't speak korean so I can't get the full picture on this. anyways there's technically 4 Coma timelines so lets go in order
*1. long black hair neatly cut*
this is when coma was still in school and was like everyone else
*2. long black hair messy*
this is when things start to go downhill, I forgot which video it is, but the video is sorta metaphorically explaining she felt chained up when it came to school and that she was in a cage. Towards the end of the video you see a scene of her breaking out of the cage and looking back at all the cells soo im guessing here she dropped out of school.
*ok so this is where people who have not watched the rest of the videos are getting confused*
there's loads of comments saying stuff like "why's everyone talking about murder and stuff? I thought this was a love story." and yes it could actually be that buuuuut in this same timeline is when she might kill someone. in another video you can see her in a scene where blood is flashing onto and off her hand, then after, there are police lights and she looks concerned and/or terrified. there's also a scene of her holding a bloody brick, hence, we can probably guess she killed someone with a brick. in another video she will actually look at a brick and look scared. now, this is where two things can be guessed.
1. she killed someone 2. someone tried to kill her
ibriefly explained and how it is possible, but now i'll explain 2.
soo in a video (i think it was cradles) she looks at a brick and looks scared, now this could possibly be two reasons
1. she regrets killing the person with a brick and is scared of herself or 2. someone tried to kill her with a brick
..but 2. is kinda a stretch as in a video you can actually see Coma holding the brick.
in my opinion it could likely be both scenario 1. and 2. someone tried to kill her using a brick and she used self defense and actually killed the person and then the police showed up and she obviously was arrested.
now lets continue along the timeline
*3. short haired (black)*
we don't get a lot of information on this as I only saw it once in a video. I'm guessing this is when she was in jail, in a video you can see her for a short moment wearing orange with high fencing surrounding her.
*4. short hair (blonde and purplish)*
this is where things get very confusing. but I'm gonna get straight to it. In this timeline everything is very hazy and destroyed. You often see her exploring around the rubble. How she got out of jail is very vague. In the animations you can see lots of very old news scattered around the town saying stuff like "apocalypse". Which makes sense as there is barely anyone around and everything is destroyed. My theory on how she got out of jail is she either spent her time and was let go or because of the apocalypse, she escaped. Most of this timeline is her getting shot or chased by a masked person. This person could be a metaphor or a real person. In one animation you see her getting shot over and over and over. One comment on that video peeked my interest, it went something like this "she could be in a trial and she's trying to kill herself so she can move on, but everytime she gets shot by the masked person she has to restart". You can see this same thing happen a lot in movies. This could make sense as you can see her get shot over and over and over. Now you might be saying "it could just be a replay of her dying" which i say, nah fam. You see her shot in two different positions
1. where she's running away 2. where's she's sorta leaning/crouching
moving on
in this timeline you get introduced to two new characters
1. the masked person 2. a short pink haired girl who has a robot arm
I'm guessing the masked person is real because you can actually see Coma and the pink haired girl running away from them and then tripping the masked person off a building.
*so now here's the main question.. where does this video fit into the timeline?*
well here's one clue, she has long messy hair, which means she kills someone sometime soon. This is before she kills someone because, well, she would be in jail if she had already killed someone. Well there really isn't much to this video, besides that you see how she acts around people and some of her other struggles. buuuut there is one thing that stuck out to me. 1:53 you can see two drawings, the one left is obviously Coma and the one on the right is whoever this new character is. Now this seems to be just a drawing, but if you look at Coma's right hand you'll see she's holding a rectangular object. you might be thinking its just a phone, but you see Ms. Blonde (that's what I'll call the other character) on her phone muuuch more often then Coma, so it would make sense that she would be holding one too. So we can infer, she is holding the brick she kills someone with, and that someone could be Ms. Blonde.

1. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT KILL MS. BLONDE SHE IS SOO ADORABLE AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO IF SHE KILLED HER
2. here's my theory, I think Coma drew the drawing at 1:53. I'm guessing this because, well why would Ms. Blonde draw this? This drawing could be her rough draft on how she kills **sigh** Ms. Blonde. Now you could be saying "well that's a terrible plan" and yes, yes it is. And that's why she got caught, she had no idea what she was doing.

holy you truly did a whole essay but i enjoyed it...Sooo i just hoped over on one of her video called cradles and i saw ms blonde with messy hair side face and sharp teeth and i think she wears a strait jacket because its white and her hand wasnt shown. maybe coma hit her? and Ms blonde brain is messed up and got locked up at a mental hospital. 그루잠 in English means something along the lines of "gruesome" as we spell it, pronounced gru-some, pretty much pronounced how it's spelt. The Korean way of pronouncing it is harder to explain but I'll try- Ka-ru-sham (When listening to the word being pronounced in Korean the "ru" almost sound as if there's a slight "d" at the end. the "sham" part is pronounced not with a strong "sh" sound. It sorta flows I recommend listening to the word cause it's hard to explain)) which don't get me wrong I know nothing about Korean I've only recently started studying it but yeah- that's all i got. *KEEP IN NOTE KOREAN HANGUL CAN'T JUST BE PROUNOUNCED BY READING, WE HEAR IT DIFFERENTLY SO IT'S BEST TO LISTEN TO SOMEONE SPEAKING THE WORD TO GET A BETTER UNDERSTANDING*

i like your idea of 그루잠 meaning gruesome, but i think i disagree because at the most it would only be similar with the first part "그루," the title 그루잠 is actually slang for falling asleep again after waking up...
but mostly i'm a little confused on your written pronunciation of 그루잠 because it should actually be more like geu/keu ru jam instead of ka ru sham (카루샴?)...
i definitely agree that hangeul can't be pronounced just from reading romanization, but in general you can rely on hangeul to be pronounced fairly close to how it's written (with exceptions to certain consonant combinations for example 설날 is pronounced 설랄 and dialect changes)
I didn't consider just looking at the pronunciation itself. I recall 그루잠 literally is when you wake up in the middle of your sleep then fall back asleep again. 그루 also is a word used to refer to trees, since in Korean you don't just say "there are 3 trees" but you say "there are 3 그루 of trees," if that makes sense. I think it's kind of like the different words we have in English to refer to groups of animals (like "murder of crows"). Don't know if that has much to do with it but that was what I first thought when I saw the title and the video started with a tree branch. In any case, I just assumed the whole thing was just a dream but apparently the blonde girl gets murdered according to all these comments.
