- A complete honor to have the legacy of the late legend Tupac Shakur felt in the KDAY Studios, Pac’s older brother, Maurice Harding aka Mopreme, visited the Morning Show co-hosts Cece and Romeo to discuss some of the greatest memories that only family can share with us.
Having produced the 2017 tv mini-series, “Who Killed Tupac?” Mopreme speaks on his involvement with the A&E feature, in which he explains his role as being the best influence he could have been as he worked to make sure the story of his late brother was portrayed accurately. As Pac’s legacy continues to inspire and impact not only the hip-hop community but the entire globe, Mopreme explains that 2Pac knew he was a legend and always knew his life’s purpose while on earth.
Mopreme comments on theories that many believe Pac is still alive today and urges everyone to continue to keep their beliefs open because it means his spirit will remain present.
Mopreme goes on to speak on collaborating with the late G Shock, upcoming projects, including 2Pac NFTs, and much more.

He would have changed everything. If I could, I would go back and take those shots for him no hesitation. Successful after death but why would it matter being successful when u die? Sadly, when he was alive he was far from being successful the way he should’ve been. Plus, the things he drove around in and the home in California that he lived in was in death rows name. Owned by Suge Knight. Which means he didn’t even own or have assets to his name. So as far as being successful when it comes to materialistic things he was the opposite of that. That’s nothing new to the ears of us older ones and over the age of 35 and who were real fans of Tupac while he was still alive on earth and not a fan thru documentaries and movies made based off other ppls stories. He deserved the success but wasn’t even close to it. He was actually in debt on the day of his death.

What is weird about Tupac's music is how it moved my maternal grandfather who did not like music, but seldom listens to Lesotho type of music. One day when Tupac was singing over the radio and I was so surprised when I heard him praising the Talent of Tupac Shakur. Today when I tell my siblings and cousins about that positive comment it seems like I am lying because I was the only one who heard that comment they knew my grandfather had a totally different taste of music and the fact that he understood English not as good as Afrikaans.
