    When he said “When Pac wakes up he’ll be proud of us for taking initiative.” I felt that. Shows how much they looked up to and respected him. I didn’t know about a couple things he said and I thought I was very well versed on the story of that night. Super concise and informative interview.

      @drjonesey5 ปีที่แล้ว +17

      Not sure how you "felt that" everybody online claims they "felt that" now a days about something, it's basically a meme at this point where people really mean they relate to it but aren't really emotionally feeling it. Pac was a hood dude, they were hood dudes, even if you're from the hood like I am there's nothing much to feel here. I'm sure they looked up to the guy and felt his death personally but this the life you get in the situations they put themselves in. I got 2 dead cousins from street nonsense, gang banging in New York for the Crips. They were half brothers, same mother who is a single mom with 6 kids mostly half siblings. The oldest child who was killed died at 16, his half younger brother made it to 25 but died 2 years ago. His mother made sure his casket was blue, his memorial had blue and on his funeral card and memorial papers it used his street/gang name.
      I hate this culture and lifestyle and looking up to these kinds of people leads to nowhere but death and hell. My cousin died the same age as Pac and my other one didn't even make it to age Pac died. But a bunch of you guys really be bigging up this type of life and culture.

    Love you Pac. Rest up. I spoke with Napoleon in 2015. I Was trying to organize a Tribute in Detroit but ran into personal legal trouble that offset it. He was so eloquent as in this interview. You are a great friend and stand up Muslim. I always wondered when these details would come out. 2Pac was our voice. Man is Truth and Falsehood STRANGELY MIXED. Pac embodied that. I knew Suge had nothing to do with it and hope his name is cleared in peoples minds. I wish Pac could have been in a better environment to blossom but everything is according to the Will of Allah. May His soul sail smooth on peaceful seas. And though I understand why those brothers retaliated as they did and that Pac had done a wrong to someone, just wish as a people we could learn to love instead of hate and the gangbanging would just STOP. Pac your music touched my soul. This was the best interview concerning those events ever. Rest up Pac and Kadafi. Peace. Inshallah I will be able to do the 30 year Tribute in 2026 and have Napoleon there.

    Pacs death was the perfect tragedy. He died at the peak of his career, kept his legacy all the way up until his death and beyond, was young and vibrant, philosophical. Etc. when u look at his death it’s almost like he died at the right time. Think about it. Had he not died, all those songs about death would’ve been in vain, all those poems he wrote that he told people to give to the public AFTER he dies would have been in vain, the things he gave away, how he spoke, how he wrote, the number 7s, everything. It’s a trip. It’s all a part of his legacy and for that reason alone, his music will live on forever.

      No the media has the power to change the mindset of a whole generation and have done it repeatedly since the start of television newspapers radio etc. What you think all that shit is for? To keep you well-informed? To give you the truth? Lol. Dumb bastards . It is to control you. That's why your still stuck on 2 pac and thinking he was a God or something. Just another pawn in the game . Wake up out the fog people . It's comical how clueless most are .

    I was 17, a senior in high school in 1996 during 2pac's reign. He was by far the greatest force in the hip hop industry. In fact, if its possible he grew too popular, many grew too envious, too much evil. Bad combo. Never the less, that era was unmatched in drama. It's still unfolding. We still get to hear from these OG's from both sides of the bars. Watch, the quad shooting, Biggie and Puff, and Keefe D will still be unfolding. Its all been hidden too long
