No, it doesn't BUT what you can do is release the locking levers on the legs and turn the the legs all the way back over the centre column so it can be used in the upside down position. So, in a way, yes you can but it isn't the 'normal' way of doing this. It is difficult to buy a 'small' Element now as I believe it has been discontinued.
Hi, Out of curiosity, do the tripod legs fold up to the closed position with the ball head mounted there? Or does the size of the ball head not allow the legs to close all the way?
Hi, Yes it does fold up without taking the ball head off. When it's folded the size is just ridiculously small. This is my least expensive travel tripod but I love it so much. It's is a good fit for my A7 with 24-105.
Exactly the information i needed! Thank you!
@@deniseracine6788 You're welcome! Glad I could provide information you needed!
Thanks a lot !
Very useful! Thanks
Köszi, pont ezt kerestem!
Great video! Wonder if it's possible to install the center column upside down? I've seen Element Big did it but not sure for the smaller one.

@@attilasom2012 great, thanks for that. I'm convinced it's the right tripod for me.
