Lovely review. I'm looking for a new tripod for my plein air easel and this one seems like the best fit. And i really appreciate you showing how to retract the legs!
Hi, thank you for the review! do you know if the ball head can be changed for a quick release one where you can just snap the camera back on and off instead of screwing it back?
I belive that little metal thing in the middle of the top of the head is a safety feature. Let's say your camera is attached in an angle, pointing slightly up or down. If you then open the side screw that tightens the quick release plate but forget to firmly hold the camera with your other hand... I have similar thing on my Velbon head. A bit annoying, true. But better safe than sorry. Happy travelling!
Great review Rosie..you did well & seems to be good product. Got a small Carbon on sale currently £124. Compact is the goal, agreed
Awesome!
thank you great explanation and description of this tripod! I have it and love it!
Oh thank you! I’m glad you liked it!

Collecting those Manfrotto tripods haha, they should sponsor you! Nice little tripod here.
Maybe one day! They are good though!

I'm not sure, sorry!
Just ordered a Manfrotto Mii . Nice review
Thank you - yeah I really like it!
Think I'll get this one, pretty similar so a Sirui but this one is slightly taller and Manfrotto feels like a better brand.
Yeah I’m happy with it so far 👍🏼

Ah that makes so much sense! Thank you!
Can u smoothly pan 360 degrees with the tripod?
Not that I have figured out.. maybe someone will come on and tell me I’m wrong.. but I don’t think so!
Took you 15 minutes to figure out how that works... wow
I know 😅
