In this, Barry's voice is amazing. But that's not unusual. He has unbelievable control over his voice, the sound quality depth. By now, Chad, you have heard enough of their music to reflect on the fact that he can do many genres and change the sound and quality of his voice. The brother's music always always gives me a peace calmness quietness it just seems to soothe everything. I know I'll get a lot of arguments with this but Barry's voice is the center of that quality that they have.

The Brothers never disappoint. They sing emotions right to my heart & soul. Their music sounds like rain drops gently hitting a pond - so peaceful and calming. Fits perfectly with the title of the album "Still Waters."

You just sent your chills right on over to me. Barry's voice is perfect for this song.The indescribable Arif Mardin produced this, and got R&B heaven out of these brothers. There is something about their collaborations that can't be matched. Where does voice end and instrumentation begin? Hard to tell, and that is genius. The key changes make me giddy. Mature beautiful work. The lyrics are intense and, and although the beat and technology are very different, remind me of the poetry of unfailing (and sometimes unrequited) love from "High Civilization."

I so love the Still Waters album. I think it is one of the best albums ever released. This song is one of my favourites at the moment, along with "The Longest Night" from ESP. wow, love your reaction! So spot on. They do paint a picture with their songs. Barry said they are written to evoke emotions. The 1st record he said he bought was Roy Orbison's Crying! He was awed by how much emotion was in that song. He did a song on is In The Now album that was his omage to Roy. ( Its a great song). One of the wonderful things about the guys is that their voices can duplicate instruments. Like in the song Staying Alive, the HAH, HAH HAH HAH's could have been a horn line, per Justin Timberlake, he stated in an interview, that their voices were so "sick" (sick- being a good thing) that they just did it with their voices. Then what about the beginning of How Deep is Your Love, etc. R&B is their vibe. Barry said country music (which he is a fan) is very much like R&B.
Mr Natural - the first opening lines have that country sound ,and then they jump into the chorus with that Rnb vibe….the ability to just change up the genre mid flow through a song - innovative genius. Just Love these guys man.

And to make it go on so smooth and effortless, for sure it must have been Barry on lead, not overdoing anything here at all. Today, three songs of them, I'd like to bring near to you, Chad. Barry, singing 'Had A Lot Of Love Last Night', Robin with 'Really And Sincerely' and Maurice with the titlesong of their album 'Trafalgar'.
I just listened to Mr. Natural yesterday. I adore "Had a Lot of Love Last Night." My two favorites are "Give a Hand, Take a Hand" and "Lost in Your Love."

Found myself often thinking and this song of them is it! Forever my favourite. Over the years or better said, the decades, I learned to love nearly every song, they braught to the light of day. This is truly an amazing album when i first heard it wasn't real thrilled with it (bought the CD at a flea market of all places) but grew to like most of the songs the Bee Gees doing the impossible fitting in but somehow staying outside of the trend
