Love watching y'all dig. I'm originally from Pennsylvania. I remember as a kid digging in the ground as a kid, like all kids do, and I found a octagon, small bore rifle barrel. It had most of the working mechanism with it. My Pappy said it was a old lever action rifle. The lever was missing and all wood components were rotted away long ago. But what I remember most was the nickel trigger and nickel ball peep sight. That was back in 1970 in Mertztown Pa. Keep the search going guys. Congrats on the growing viewers.

Wow guys, looks like everyone had an awesome day out detecting at the old cabin an School site. It just don't get any better then that. An the 1802 cabin an the grounds it was on looked to be amazing as well. Only if every hunt could be like this one. Some days we find the goods an some days not so much. Thats just the way it goes.
